The pizza was loaded with toppings, the crust was great, and it honestly reminded me of the Godfather's Pizza I grew up with. I was looking forward to coming back while visiting Ocean Shores. Unfortunately, this visit was completely different. We called in an order for one Supreme pizza and were told it would be ready in about 40 minutes. I waited the 40 minutes and walked across the street to pick it up. When I arrived, they had me pay for the order and I even left a $5 tip. Only after I had paid and tipped did they tell me they were very busy and it would actually be another 20 minutes. ‍ Okay, things happen and restaurants get slammed, so I waited. About 25 minutes later, I went back to the counter to check on it, only to be told it would be another 30 minutes. At that point I had already been waiting nearly an hour and a half for one pizza, I was starving, and most of the other local restaurants were already closed. I finally asked for a refund and left. What really frustrated me was that I could have made a different dinner plan if I had been told the actual wait time when I arrived. Instead, I was given one wait time, then another, and then another--after already paying and leaving a tip. I understand that holiday weekends can get extremely busy, and I don't expect a restaurant to magically control how many orders come in. But the communication could have been much better. Please tell customers about significant delays before taking their money and tip. It sucks because I genuinely loved this place last year and was excited to come back. Unfortunately, this experience totally wasted my evening, and I left hungry and disappointed. They do stone fired pizza...and they do it well! While they offer quite a few different combos, as well as build your own, pizzas come in one size and one size only... 12". I think this also plays well for ensuring consistency. Honestly, having spent 20 years in the pizza industry, I think these are good business decision. At this point we've only had their Margherita, Marg-A-Roni, Meat Lovers, and Supreme pizzas as we are Kida traditionalist. But as I mentioned, they offer quite a few different sauces, cheeses, and toppings. The veggie toppings are always fresh and the meat toppings have some good seasoning! Our favorite stone fired pizza for this region happens to be up in Shelton currently, but Stone Creek is our local favorite and a very close second!!
