It was fine. The beef bullgogi was a little dry but still tasty. The price was $18 and I thought the value was a little less than what I received but for a small town they are lucky to have a diverse choice of restaurants. we used to come here and eat a lot at this place. But we just went recently and we were disappointed. they have increased their prices with smaller portions. The egg flower soup was not like it used to be. It had a bunch of vegetables in it and I was not impressed. There was not much egg in it at all. My husband asked for fried rice and it wasn't the same as they used to make it. It was white rice with vegetables. It wasn't fried at all. Pretty good for a small town . Cozy little spot with a very friendly lady running the front of the restaurant. We ordered a small egg flower soup and vegetable yakisoba. If you eat there you get a smaller bowl of egg flower with your order. The soup was good but the mixed veggies in it threw me off and there wasn't much egg. Worst teriyaki I've ever had!! The chicken was heavily covered (like a lake) in a super salty teriyaki sauce that should have been a glaze. Two bites in I tossed it out. I also tried the salad and white rice that came with it. The dressing tasted like Japanese mayo with pepper and the white rice was way over done like mush. 20 mins later I have a stomach ache from what I ate. I would not recommend this place. Drive 10 more minutes to a place in Cosmopolis or Aberdeen. Anywhere else would be better. read more

Okay well first of all the number they have listed in the phone book is not the number to call in apparently it's a hit and miss because that number is all jacked up and it's interfering with another phone number of theirs anyway it's almost impossible to call in the restaurant is fine, I didn't mind it at all. So I got the S7. It was decent. There was a lot of teriyaki chicken but I wish the orange and sweet/sour chicken wasn't tiny; those pieces were about the size of my thumb. The rice was a little al dente. My cousin got some of the chow mein and if you love garlic, this is your dish. It smelled so good and had big bits of garlic. The lady at the counter said that the chow mein and the yakisoba were pretty much the same thing but the yakisoba had more veggies. I'd probably go back to try something different if I was up in montesano but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

I lived in Montesano, and drove by this place, for about 5 months before I decided to try dining here. We were completely surprised. The staff is very friendly, the food was fresh, plentiful, and VERY good. We have been eating at Happy Teriyaki in Aberdeen, but now have switched to this place. The prices are lower than Happy Teriyaki and the portions are very generous. I always go with the stir fry with my meal instead of the salad. The building shows its age, but if you can overlook that you will not be disappointed. read more
