Their seating was a little limited for bigger parties downstairs so we went upstairs. This place is also so conveniently located. With a sad excuse for chimichurri. That seemed haphazardly put together, again lacking any flavor. Was it an off day based on the amount of people raving? Maybe. But also maybe they aren't aware of the better options in Portland so lack the awareness of true potential in this cuisine. I recommend Lechón if you want real chimichurri and empanadas.

We were then told that the majority of our group needed to be present before we could be seated, despite having several people ready to sit down, order drinks, and begin spending money while waiting for the rest of our party to arrive. That said, I want to recognize our waitress, Morgan, was wonderful. She was patient with our orders, attentive without being intrusive, and gave our group the space to enjoy our conversations and time together. FYI: the charcuterie vending machine was temporary, and they are now back to an a la carte charcuterie board menu. I had a tasting flight, and enjoyed the depth of flavors and variety in the wines -- lots of unique and beautiful fruit notes! I ordered the vegan balsamic cheese and OMG!!! Soooo creamy and delicious!! I also ordered the mushroom jerky -- well worth it! It's not as tough as beef jerky, which makes it easier to eat. And the flavor is bomb -- definitely tastes like mushrooms and jerky mixed together. The kind lady working the business on the day we visited gave me extra complimentary crackers and apricots. :) She was absolutely wonderful, and it's safe to say the service here was top notch.
