Needed something healthy to eat while I waited for traffic to die down and I stumbled upon Westville. I had never heard of them before but was intrigured to give it a try. The space is a nice size and service was pretty good. Everyone eas kind and patient with me asking questions. I ended up going with a Fried Goat Cheese Salad special and it was absolutely amazing and huge! I would go back to try some other menu items the next time that im in the area. Service was quick and I can always appreciate that!

Excellent lunch! I've been to many Westville locations in NYC and finally had the chance to go to this one. It is a big space in a good location. Our waiter was very attentive and so I can definitely recommend the service too. My boyfriend and I each had the potato soup and then he got a Cobb salad and I had the CBLT. The chicken on the sandwich had a good grill flavor in addition to excellent bread and crispy bacon. The Cobb salad has a dill flavor. The portions were larger so we took half our salad and sandwiches home too. Our waiter then gave us a free drink coupon to use next time. I'm already looking forward to that next visit!

Don't let the casual decor fool you - Westville is a fantastic new addition to the area and exactly what we've been needing--especially with its thoughtful and exciting vegetarian options. We went for dinner to celebrate my birthday. We both ordered the Market Plate, which lets you mix and match four side dishes into a full meal, and every bite was full of flavor and creativity. Don't sleep on the Moroccan Spiced Carrots or the Roasted Cabbage Wedge. The teriyaki tofu is just okay. I would love to see the tofu made with a few different styles or seasonings, or even a bean side, for more vegetarian protein options. The highlight of the evening was the Rosemary Gim-Less. This mocktail would fool anyone, it was balanced, refreshing, and truly impressive. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. They made good recommendations and helped us understand the menu. Can't wait to come back and work my way through more of the menu!

Market plate with tofu, street corn, sweet potatoes and cauliflower. Everything decent but tofu and cauliflower were standouts.

This is basically a vegetarian's dream. Imagine a world where instead of menus being geared toward carnivores and then having a handful of token items for the vegetarians it was the opposite. Carnivores can eat meat here (and honestly this is the first time I have been tempted to eat meat in a long time because they have Hebrew Nationals like my dad used to get me at the ballpark) but vegetables are the star of the show. Husband and I both split market plates which each feature 4 vegetable sides so we ended up trying 8 vegetables. Portions were huge and the veggie options were varied and interestingly prepared. I was most impressed by the sweet potatoes, cauliflower and tofu (which counts as a veggie side!) Takes a look at my pics. We aso ordered an apple pie desert and I think this might be the best apple pie I have ever had. The dough was so so flavorful as well as the filling. I say this as someone who is normally chocolate obsessed: This is a phenomenal dessert. Service was decent too. Everyone was nice, waitress was attentive, she knew the menu well and it was clear people actively wanted to be helpful. Ambiance was a little spare and rustic for my taste, and maybe a bit on the nose. You can tell it is a veggie-friendly restaurant the minute you walk in without having to see a menu. I feel like they take the farm-to-table concept really literally and it's already dated. I much prefer places that create elevated atmosphere to make vegetarians feel like we are still able to enjoy fancier dining to make up for all the steakhouses and shmancy French places treating us like an annoyance. Especially since this place is also a full cocktail bar. But at the same time it is casual and approachable, and prices were very reasonable so it fits. Stuff we didn't try but saw coming out of the kitchen also looked really enticing. Overall, I recommend.

Slow service on a Saturday morning with not too many patrons but nice staff. Selective menu but everything looked of great quality. I ordered the Cali Benedict that comes with either home fries or salad. The entire dish itself was fresh with a vibrant salad. One of my eggs was overcooked but they were able to comp 2 new poached eggs when I brought it to their attention. Good for small-med groups with a nice bar area. The waffle looked amazing- I'd definitely go back to try that

Tried this out on Sunday early evening . It's not on the site , but they have a switchover on the weekend between brunch and dinner, not a huge deal but would help if it was somewhere listed. Food was cool, everything came out quick and the was tasty. Truffle fries were great but could use some type of dipping sauce, but they are good for an appetizer . I subbed out the grilled chicken for the chicken cutlet and really enjoyed my salad . Pretty large portion. I sat at the bar and they just had one bartender but he was nice and was doing a good job with making drinks and being attentive to the few of us at the bar . I enjoyed that they have drinks specials every day ! I got a glass of Prosecco with my meal It's a new spot so they have a few kinks to get out , but overall I enjoyed my visit. Already seems to be a popular spot for pickup and to go orders. Also the outdoor area was nice , nothing special but convenient if you are out shopping in the area.

Stopped in for an after-dinner drink and ended up also having a snack as well. The space is cozy and fresh. Spicy Pineapple Margarita - delicious! Smoky and flavorful. Smoky Mac and Cheese - Cheeeeeesy. Really good, I recommend.

I visited for the first time on Saturday morning - the exterior seating area of the restaurant was already filling with patrons. Since it was a nice day I also decided to sit outside. I was promptly greeted by the host and server and able to order quickly. The outdoor tables are a little close together so you will actively hear other patrons' conversations. The food service is prompt and the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich entree was good (the sandwich just had a little too much of their chipotle mayo which made the sandwich a little messy to eat). The mocktail watermelon sangria was so refreshing, light and sweet I ordered two because it was so good! Would visit again for brunch and to try the interior seating area. There is paid deck and street parking nearby. $$

Tried out the newly opened Westville in Clarendon for a takeout lunch with a friend, and overall it was a really solid experience. The food was fresh, flavorful. When we got there we had to wait alittle since we were early and the host sat us at the bar and shared some Information about their menu and weekly specials which was really nice. I ordered the teriyaki salmon with a couple of sides - sweet potato fries and the bacon caramelized onion peas. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had a nice glaze without being too sweet or overpowering. The fries were really good and they give you a generous amount but they could've used a touch more salt. The peas, though, were just okay kind of bland so I probably wouldn't get those again. The space itself is bright and airy with cute, modern decor. It has more of a casual lunch vibe, but I definitely want to come back and try it for dinner one night. They also do themed nights like Taco Tuesday and Margarita Wednesday, which sounds fun. Price-wise, it felt a bit on the high side for what it was, but make sense, they're leaning into the healthier options, and the quality was there. All in all, it's a nice addition to the Clarendon neighborhood and I'll for sure be back.

The chicken cutlets here are fantastic! Especially the side chicken cutlet for seven dollars. I mean, you really can't beat that. The service was great and it was nice that they had a weekend happy hour from 5 to 7 PM. Highly recommend. also, definitely try the pesto mashed potatoes. Life-changing. Good ambience they have the football games on.

This is an amazing healthy option in Clarendon!!! The staff there are super nice and all of the servers are always accommodating. This was my 3rd time there and Luke has always been an amazing server. I didn't expect it at first but the drinks were really good! I liked the burnt orange manhattan the most and my girlfriend liked the strawberry aperol spritz! The CBLT has become a regular for me but their market plate options are really good. You can get protein and veggies or just a veggie plate! So many options, but that just means I have to go back and try more! Also, their desserts were very good, especially their carrot cake and cookies. I saw another comment about the desserts being heated up in the microwave, but I don't mind heating my cookie a bit, it makes the chocolate chips better. I do the same thing at home lol! Overall, great option for a date night, large parties, or if you're just looking for something healthy to eat after a good workout. Will be frequenting here regularly!

This was one of the most unique shakshukas I'd ever had... It literally tasted like a curry dish you might get at your local Indian restaurant, with a bit of a brunch flair to it. The curry itself had a wee bit of spice and was a bit sweet - but that could have been from the sweet potatoes. The chicken was served in a bowl on the side, which felt a bit... odd... I would've expected it to be incorporated into the main dish. It was kind of bland and a bit lukewarm, so I don't know that I'd order that again... but I would definitely order this again!

When we made the reservation in advance, we called to ask if happy hour was everywhere or just at the bar; they said everywhere, so we booked a table. Plot twist, it's only at the bar / downstairs :))) We arrived 15 minutes early, so while they got our table ready, we ordered at the bar. 5 stars for the bartender. If I could review her, the host, and the happy hour prices in isolation, I would! They moved us upstairs, we sat down, and immediately saw the menus were different. We asked the gentleman bringing waters about happy hour and he sent the waiter over. The waiter, with about 2% helpfulness, shared that happy hour is only downstairs. I mentioned that we had called in advance to ask. We asked if it would be possible to have that menu or perhaps move. The conversation felt like pulling teeth. He said, with much dismissiveness, it was up to the host downstairs to move and if they had availability and left. (Fair, we move, he doesn't get his tip. An alternative? Give us the happy hour menu, still get your tip. Better yet, just be slightly helpful?) The host downstairs found us a table but shared it was booked at 6:15 so we needed to be in and out. It was no problem because we had arrived before 5 (early, remember?). Although, it took 15 minutes (I timed it!) for anyone to come bring waters or address us as their table. A little hard to operate with urgency when no one takes your order!! I got up, told the host stand, and they sent a server over, and he proceeded to come back all of three times. We also had to flag him down to get our check, while we sat with empty waters that were never once refilled. We had pizza, cod sliders, and half orders of aglio e olio pasta. The cod sliders were more breadding than fish, but the flavor was decent. The pasta was delicious. No five star Italian meal, but it hit the spot and the portion was plentiful. I didn't try the pizza but it was 12 inches, piping hot, and the two eating it couldn't finish it. The food came out quickly and hot. I think we spent under or just about $100 for four folks to have dinner + drinks, so the prices are really solid. Perhaps you get what you pay for though? Both of our male servers seemed annoyed to be dealing with us and mostly unhelpful. Noteworthy mention: there was a female server who was kind enough to bring us a brown paper bag for our to go box. She was running around and her tables seemed well cared for. Disappointed in my experience and the customer service.
