This review is not food but for their live music night. I believe the event was battle of bands, but I came by on a Friday night to see one of the live bands they had playing. The downstairs area had a DJ and people dancing and at the bar, while the upstairs had the live band. I went to waterfront on a Friday night and was harassed and shoved against a wall by two men, when my friend and her bf tried to help me they were punched, the men had hands around her bfs throat yelling "I'm going to kill you". Stopped in w/o a reservation w a few friends on Mother's Day for drinks and snacks. Overall, everything went well. We were seated instantly but waited quite some time for a server. Stumbled across this place walking back from dinner nearby. Very cool vibe with a DJ downstairs and a live band upstairs. The restaurant was closed, so I can't comment on the food, but I will comment on the service from the bar. There were two bartenders one was awesome and the other was incredibly rude. I don't mean she was just busy, but actually nasty. This is really the only reason for the 2 stars... the clientele for this bar is on the younger end, so I guess this is accepted by them, but when you have 100 other options nearby then they should go elsewhere. 100% won't recommend and won't be back. read more

Came here on a Saturday night. They have ample seating, both indoor (upstairs and downstairs) and outdoor, which is great! Service is excellent and food is good. I tried the Old Bay shrimp appetizer and the crab cake sandwich. Both were very tasty and allows me to get my fix of Baltimore seafood. Only thing I would stay away from are the Crushes (definitely not fresh), I had a Pineapple-Mango one that was honestly very off-putting. I always recommend Waterfront and yet so many people continue to cross it off their Baltimore bucket list because they believe it to be a hotel, sigh. Such a disappointment! Random fun fact: It is assumed that this is the second oldest brick building in the City of Baltimore! In my opinion, Waterfront has the best lunch menu on the little historic strip. You can't go wrong with any of their seafood dishes, wings or even salads. However, their Happy Hour game is even stronger! I ordered a crabcake and the person with me orders an omelet which came w/ potatoes . 2 biscuits were served with our meal. Areas for improvement - speed of service was very slow. I've been to TWH multiple times, but have yet to Yelp them. I've even been for brunch before, but had so many mimosas that time I don't even recall what my entree was. Luckily, when I ate at TWH for a friend's birthday brunch yesterday, I took it easy on the mimosa and paid great attention to the service and my food. That said, my group of 5 was seated outside, which was quite pleasant when the sun was out, but quite chilly when it wasn't and it was a cloudy day yesterday (gotta love April!). We quickly put in drink orders, then focused on the food menu. There were a decent amount of options and I was torn between the steak and eggs and fruity pebbles french toast. When the waitress came back to take our orders, I asked if it was possible to sub the French toast for the regular toast that comes with the steak and eggs. She said I couldn't do that, BUT she said I could order the French toast by the slice. Boom! Done! I sipped on a mimosa (or 2) while I waited for the food to come out. They were in huge plastic cups, which was a plus, but were just ok, as far as mimosas go. I probably could have gone for more OJ. We'd ordered crab tots for the table, and they were ok. I think I'm over crab tots in general and this offering didn't make me want them any more. When our entrees came out, they came in waves. I was served the French toast first, and I dug in quickly. It was delicious! Will definitely go back and have them as my main meal some other time. Next wave of food brought my steak and eggs, plus 2 pieces of toast and an order of tots. I tossed the toast to the side and started in on the rest. The steak was ok, well seasoned, but I've had better cuts before. The fat on one side of the steak was hard, which sucks because I LOVE fat and always try to eat it - no haps here. The eggs were cooked to my specification (fried hard) but had no seasoning so I needed salt and pepper. And the tots were good, kinda hard to mess up tots. Service was ok. read more

Waterfront Hotel restaurant & bar has amazing, quality food! The service is great too! My fiancé and I decided to check out this restaurant and we are so glad we did! It can be quite difficult to find parking in Fells Point; however, there are garages and parking lots (where you'll have to pay to park). What we ordered: All the appetizers were hits: tuna sliders, tuna tartare, cheesy popovers, cheesy tater tots. We LOVED the double crab cake entree. Their crab cakes might be one of the best in Maryland! We keep talking about how good it was! The blondie dessert with cherry ice cream was super yummy! We'd definitely get it again! We visited Fells Point in Baltimore for the day and wanted to try Baltimore's famous seafood. There are a slew of eateries in Fells Point near the waterfront. Most places unfortunately closed for lunch@3 to reopen for dinner @4. I was really craving steamers and couldn't find a local eatery. We took a long stroll from Inner Harbor to Fells Point and stumbled upon the Waterfront Hotel. TWH is a cool sports bar that serves Half Time Happy Hour specials ( go Ravens!) like Mac and cheese bites and cordon bleu chicken tenders. Entree options include quesadillas, crab cake sandwiches at market price, po boys etc. Wr started with drinks and I drank the 22 ounce Bud Light Special for $5 and cousin ordered her Jack and Di for @$6. Our mains included Shrimp Po Boy with fries ($3 extra, really comes with chips) and Chicken Quesadilla. The Shrimp Po Boy sandwich was a tasty fried shrimp with lettuce and tomato housed in a sweet soft bun with sriracha sauce. Truly scrumptious! The fries were seasoned, plentiful and delicious ( one can get Old Bay fries as well). The quesadilla was also delicious with grilled chicken, cheese, peppers etc. Both entrees were well priced @$14. The vibe is chill and watching the Baltimore Ravens win was electric. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating. There is live music on the weekends. A friend of mine and I ventured out to just get out of the house for the first time in a while. We stumbled across this place and decided to give it a try. The food was good and the service was ok for the little interaction we had with wait staff. I know the pandemic changed the way some businesses do business, but I was not a huge fan of only being able to order online. When we walked up, someone came and explained to us that everything had to be ordered via the QR code presented on the tables. I get limiting contact, but we went out in search of not avoiding people. As you ordered, you also had to pay so you couldn't really run a tab. We had to order everything at once or fall subject to keep typing in our credit card numbers. It was an interesting adjustment. After a pub crawl in Baltimore, we found our way to The waterfront hotel. A great little pub on the bottom floor of the hotel, not just for the tourist guests staying at the hotel but a great local place where they make you feel at home. Service was friendly and efficient, the menu had a vast selection including many options of carbs to soak up alcohol. The room is bright and vibrant playing a great assortment of popular music. The food was prepared promptly with fresh ingredients, and the pork belly had the perfect crisp to it. Fries were crisp with just enough salt to them. Guacamole sauce on the taco was creamy yet flavorful. I look forward to another visit. read more

Stopped by when looking for a place with outdoor seating and no wait for brunch. The place looked pretty similar to all of the Irish pub like bars surrounding it and had a decent menu to choose from. The Mexican Benedict was pretty good, I chose it because I'm not a huge fan of hollandaise and enjoyed the avocado crema instead. The fries were delicious, but I wanted more from the blackened chicken goat cheese mac and cheese. The chicken was tender and flavorful but the mac and cheese itself didn't have much flavor. The red peppers and caramelized onions were a nice addition, however, there could've been more. I wanted to try the chicken pot pie but they had run out. In the 3+ years I've been in Fells Point, I just tried this place last weekend. (So many great choices in this area!) We came for Sunday brunch. It was okay, if a bit light on the human-interaction thing. We sat outside, there were plenty of tables. You scan the QR code on your table to order and pay online and then an overwhelmed worker delivers your food. If you're lucky you get silverware, too, and someone checks in on you once or twice. My daughter got pancakes and I got the basic breakfast (bacon, sausage (1 link), 2 eggs scrambled, delicious and crispy tots, and the smallest croissant ever). Nothing special here but it hit the spot. Price was okay. I know there's a labor shortage but there should be someone that seems to care that I've chosen to spend my money here... read more

I came here for brunch last Sunday and it was good but not great. Their outdoor space has definitely improved since Atlas took over and revamped it all, so it has a great atmosphere and view if you sit outside. I believe the menu has changed a bit since Atlas took over too but it still tasted good. While the food was good, they had some unlikely food combinations that may not be popular to many people (chicken + pancakes + fruit combo was a weird one...). Also, the service was so-so. We ordered appetizers and entrees separately, but they were all brought out at the same time. The server also forgot to get drinks/refills/napkins after we asked a few times. Overall it was a nice experience, and we didn't need a reservation for Sunday morning brunch and got seated right away. Nice place to go if you are visiting and want to be by the water. read more

One of my best friends lives in Baltimore and this is one of his favorite bar/taverns. Therefore, we usually stop in here each time I go visit him. Surprisingly enough, I have been here dozens of times, but never to enjoy the food/restaurant part. I was definitely missing out, as the food was amazing. Basically this location turns into a full on bar with live music, somewhere around 9pm. I had never really noticed the transition before, but last time I noticed a family with kids wrapping up their meal late, and hurrying out. I guess word of caution, if you are going here to eat, just be aware it is going to get busy and loud at night. It is always a packed house, the crowd being mostly in their 20s and 30s. The bartenders are very friendly and attentive. The food really wowed me though. My two friends and I all ordered burgers of varying sorts (pictured). They were delicious, some of the best I have had in recent memory. They also serve Old Bay fries (famous Baltimore seasoning). The fries were bursting with flavor. It is a very unique experience and take on burgers/fries. Definitely check it out if you are hungry and in the area. read more

We came to the Waterfront Hotel for drinks that ultimately ended up with dinner. The pub is great and we quickly snagged a table outside on the sidewalk. It was a beautiful evening in Baltimore so why not enjoy the weather. We started off with the mussels which were ok. They would have been better with more juice in them but again they were ok. For my main I had the Cuban sandwich. This is not your ordinary Cuban as they used pork belly. I had my reservations but it turned out to be a really good variation. I used to be a regular here when I was working at Morgan Stanley. My team and I would always come on Thursdays for lunch because their burgers were 50% off. It was a steal because the burgers were $16 on any other day of the week. I usually ordered the WTF burger or the Smoke on the Waterfront. Both of them had hella meat (ground beef, pork belly, and bacon), and each burger came with a mountain of french fries (bbq rub, garlic herb, old bay, or regular). 3 years later, I came back to Waterfront Hotel to see if anything has changed. I was happy to see (and taste) that the burgers are still juicy as hell, and the french fries still come in large portions. For only $8, you can get a quality burger AND a ton of french fries. Our drinks arrived half an hour later and the Guinness was not only warm, but sour. The cider had a funky flavor too. The appetizer never arrived and we did not dare order our food because if their draft lines aren't clean or their kegs are old. I cannot imagine what horrors are hiding in the kitchen. When paying for the drinks and appetizer that we did not eat, you could tell that something was up based on the waitresses ambivalent reaction. Aesthetic/Atmosphere, 3/5: The top level was more imitate, but the bottom floor is like a typical bar. There was a loud party by us, so me and my friend were basically yelling at each other because we couldn't hear. I did like the posters they had, it was a very old fashion vibe. While they do have bottomless mimosas for it ends at 2 p.m. Unfortunately we were seated at 1 p.m. but our waitress did a good job ensuring we got a good amount of refills. Got the wings which were good, but not amazing. I liked that I was able to mix two flavors in my one order. In this case I opted for the buffalo and the mango bbq. Went here because I saw a lot of people sitting down outside and eating and drinking. I had the chipotle chicken tacos and they were honestly very yummy and filling. The only thing that I would change a little is that I got the garlic and herb fries and they were kinda flappy. Maybe slightly undercooked. But it made a great addition to the dish. Yum, Yum, Yummy. I'd previously been here for dinner and was curious about their Brunch. I came here with about 10 friends for a holiday brunch on a Sunday afternoon. Our server Jess was super attentive, helpful and down right friendly. We even started a chant of "Jess, Jess, Jess," Because she was so awesome. For brunch I dined on the steak & eggs. The steak was properly cooked, very juicy and savory. I thoroughly enjoyed my food. I also partook in the 10 buck bottomless glass. That's your choice of Mimosa, Bloody Mary, Screwdriver or Natty Boh! How do you love that? It's even greater because you can mix and not keep to 1 drink.
