Poor, poor, poor, service. It sucks that these mall food establishments can get away with having such poor service and quality control. I came around 6pm on Monday, 12/23 to redeem my free birthday pretzel. I know, I apologize in advance for having a December birthday. I was the last person in line and there was no one behind me. It looked like they were running low on pretzels but someone was taking out more pretzels in the back. The woman, who I presume was the manager of this location, looked back at them, gave an exasperated sigh, and then said they didn't honor birthday rewards during the holiday season. She didn't say "oh, come back after x date" or anything, just that she wasn't going to take it. I had a strong feeling she just didn't feel like serving me for whatever reason and was making up an excuse, maybe because her incompetence led them to be running behind, but that was that. I left a bit shocked because I've never had this experience before upon attempting to redeem my pretzel. When I tried to order from the app, I saw that I could easily place an order but decided I didn't want to antagonize her and get my food tampered with. Overall I'm very disappointed in this location, and this woman in particular. If you see a middle-aged woman with long dark hair pulled into a low ponytail and darker skin, avoid like the plague. Great service until their "final closing hour." Today(Friday) I came around after 6pm- said they close at 7pm when on apple maps it says they close at 9pm, Monday-Friday(they should really fix that). Yay. I had a buy one get one free coupon from le Entertainment book. I wanted 2 pizza pretzels but they only had one. The owner (?) asked if I wanted 2, which I did, and he made them. Ready in less than 10 minutes. Delightful! I love pretzels, crave pretzels. Though Auntie Anne's is gone, this makes for a delightful replacement. The pretzels are BIG, fluffy, filling and delicious.
