This was my first experience at a Whataburger. I ordered the grilled chicken melt without a bun, to go. When I got home, I realized that they had gotten my order wrong. They marked me down as ordering a plain grilled chicken sandwich. They did give the chicken to me in a separate container, but that was it. It was just a $5 piece of chicken. No lettuce, tomatoes, or cheese. It was too much of a hassle to go back and complain, but I will not be giving them my service again. read more

When we first walked in it was very busy, but we decided to stay. I ordered got my drink and then sat down, and waited for the food. The service was a little slow, but they hurried and got our food to is quick. One of the men working in the store was very very polite and had amazing customer service. I did not catch his name, but he was a middle aged black man, bald, glasses, and maybe a small mustache. He was working a Friday night 4/19/19 @ 9:50. He was about 5'9 ish maybe shorter maybe taller but he 100% deserves a raise. He ran to get me the things I needed and was very very efficient and respectful. Let me start off by saying that this place has really made some progress over the last couple of months. Maybe it's the new set of employees or new management, either way the standards at this certain location have seriously gone up. I'm a usual customer to this certain location as it is on my way to work, but man do I remember the days when I would wait 10-20 minutes for a single order, terribly made. Well, this is a first time visit to a Whataburger. I tried the Cheeseburger, French Fries, and a small chocolate milk shake. The milk shake was huge, the burger was yummy and the fries, not special. Fun atmosphere and great for kids. We will try other Whataburgers as soon as we can. read more

My average wait time in the drive thru line is about 15 minutes...today I waited over 15 minutes to get my food and they didn't even give me any napkins, and my drink was wrong. Whataburger is to Texas what In-N-Out Burger is to California. With that said, my first and probably last experience with Whataburger was underwhelming. I ordered the Jalapeno & Cheese combo with fries and a drink late night as a pre-slumber craving came on and while it did satisfy the craving the flavor was not up to par with other fast food burger chain restaurants. I would compare the flavor of the burger itself to Wendy's, but a little more mealy in texture. The size of the burger is probably the characteristic that best sends the message of the business because it is larger than most (with exception to Burger King's Whopper). As for the rest, flavors of pickled jalapenos you would find in a large plastic container along with a slice of American cheese comprised the flavor profile. The fries while a large portion were cut in the same thickness as McDonald's but lacked salt which the aforementioned rarely fails to do. "When in Texas, you have to experience it at least once." was what an Uber driver told me upon arriving in Dallas. Once is enough for this guy. "Meh"-a-burger. read more

When I got up to the box to give my order I told her my entire order and there was a long pause and then the woman came back on the speaker and had only gotten 1 part of my order.
