Not the place for a quick breakfast. This was my first time ordering breakfast at this chain and may be my last. I ordered the breakfast platter with sausage. While waiting for my order, I got some coffee. Sadly, it was very weak and tasted similar to iced coffee without the ice. After about ten minutes, my order arrived at my table. Although I do not have high expectations of fast food scrambled eggs, I do expect them not to be burnt. I noticed discoloration as I was eating them. Although Whataburger is one of my most favorite places to go. This location is the worst. Even though they have two lines to make things go faster not happening here. They had one person running on the outside to take the orders and the same young man who's training pay also working the window. In other words they had one person doing two jobs. When we finally got our order after waiting for 45 minutes in line the fries were cold and still and the bun on the hamburger was hard. This location is the worst. Please do something about speeding up the service at this location. read more

I finally tried it!!!! I'm from the North so we don't have Whataburger at all. I was told this is the best place for a fast food burger. To me, it tasted like a mix between a McDonald's burger and a White Castle burger. And I don't hate it. The portion sizes were huge to me! I later found out that the junior sizes are like regular portions at other places. I'll do that next time! read more

If you don't mind waiting in the drive thru line for 30 to 45 minutes, getting yelled at from staff members as well as them giving you attitude and missing some items that you ordered then this is the location for you. But I would encourage all y'all to stay as far away from this location as possible. I just submitted a negative feedback to Whataburger and would like to address my bad experience at this location to the Regional Manager. Hope to hear them back soon. I'm from Chicago and I am very particular about my cheese burgers. I had the double burger because I was hungry. When I got the burger and saw the size I was impressed. The cheese burgers are huge! I could barely finish the thing. The French fries were delicious as well and cooked to perfection. But the thing that impressed me the most was the spicy ketchup! So delicious. I was oo-Ing and aww-ing my whole lunch. Very impressed with Whataburger and can't wait to return to try it again. read more

So after a long flight, the only thing I had on my mind was a nice burger but I wanted to get something that I couldn't get in LA. Thus Whataburger it was. 15 minutes waiting in the drive through, I was so disappointed by how my burger looked my frustrations overtook me. Twice I asked them if this is what I even ordered and apparently it was. Granted my fault on that part but the burger looked so puny that though I ordered a triple, it was so smashed together that it looked like a single. I mean if I wanted a burger like that I would've gone to McDonalds. Thus I did call the corporate hotline, but didn't bother taking the call a few days later from the manager of the location. I think the trouble is that particular location and that they don't take pride in their product. Thus continue to eat at the company, just not at this location please. While in Texas during a recent trip we had a semi late night where I didn't consume much other than wine throughtout the evening and needed to eat asap! We pull up to this locaiton near our hotel and the line was so long, I thought oh no... but they moved rather fast! Awesome late night eats! The WHATABURGER company has not exported its wonderful menu to California. Therefore, upon arrival at DFW last night, I was on a mission to have my British traveling companion sample one of Texas' best fast food products. This restaurant didn't disappoint. The food was hot and great. She liked it so much that she took a pic and posted it on facebook.....something she routinely chides others for doing. I should detract one star, because the friendly manager gave away the source of my "ketchup is a vegetable" joke. This place is ok, can't come in with high expectations. So many of them around, they're kind of hard to avoid. I ate here recently after a night of drinking. I'm from Chicago, so the burgers were not bad, but nothing especially good. Kind of reminded me of a low grade Maxwell street burger. Fries were bland, burger was just a burger. I think by bringing back the A-1 Thick and Hearty they should get 4 stars. Went there just before the dining room was closing, but they let us in and served us cheerfully. The food at Whataburger is pretty consistent across all DFW locations as far as I've experienced but the staff seemed faster and friendlier at this location than most in the chain the last time I was here. If you've never been to Whataburger, go today and order the chorizo burger but dine in and eat it while it's hot. The sweet and spicy bacon burger is pretty awesome too. Their burgers are a better value than most places because they include very large patties. And their speciality burgers make them a unique experience. The quality is there but the flavor profile is different for thicker burgers and I generally prefer the thinner patties at places like In N Out. I can't help but feel like their chicken strips are overrated especially in an era in which McDonald's is doing a strangely good job of it. They're just much too dry and the coating is too thick. If chicken is what you want, go to Raising Cane's instead. Come here for the burgers. read more

If the picture doesn't say it all. I know that the chicken nuggets used for the morning chicken biscuits are the ones from the previous day, not fresh! I get it, I'm not mad, the honey butter covers that up very well but how many times did you reheat this nugget? It's looks like it's been sitting under your lamps for 3 days!! Dry, hard, can't even bite into it without a struggle. It's so dry the chicken isn't even white anymore, it's yellow-brown!!! I have been here twice. The first time I asked for only fries and a drink. It took forever for fries. When the manager asked the order taker if he'd taken my order he came unglued. This time I don't have a complaint about the service but this place is disgustingly filthy. Trash overflowing in the dining room and men's room. No paper towels. The girl taking orders has so much hair her hat sits on top of the bun she tried to create and barely meets food safety requirements for wearing a hat. I don't think I will be back. read more

It's a Whataburger, just a block away from busy 635 and a panhandling corner. The fast food restaurant itself sits on a rather busy intersection, and it can be challenging to get into the parking lot on eastbound Forest during high traffic days. The 2 lane drive thru isn't clearly defined like at some newer locations, but the staff gives clear instructions on where to pull up. Whataburger is a great place to get a big burger and sides for a good price. My favorite is the Whatachicken which is one of the most delicious chicken sandwiches I've had by far. Another one of my favorites is the party melt which is on Texas Toast. I highly recommend both burgers! read more

What is the sense of receiving TXU coupons on the mail for whataburger if your store will not accept them? The girl who waited on us tonight said that we could ONLY get 2 of the exact same whataburger sandwiches & the coupon would not be honored if one regular size was ordered & a jr size was ordered, even though the junior size is cheaper. I asked for the on-duty manager & the woman told him, "Here is another one who doesn't understand!" He came over & refused to honor the coupon as well. The coupon doesn't say you MUST get 2 of the exact same sandwiches. That is ridiculous!! I already contacted corporate about this. The woman who waited on us & her manager chose to argue over $3 rather than do the right thing. I didn't think Whataburger was that picky. read more
