    A lie

Ordered 4 Taquitos and 2 orders scrambled eggs. Got only ONE SET plasticware!! PLUS WHY is a taquito with egg and cheese the SAME price as a taquito with egg cheese AND sausage??

    Onion Rings

Absolutely disgusting. This is our local Whataburger and it has slipped into complete chaos over the past few years but the past few months have been exceptionally telling. Every time we order the order is wrong despite the receipt being correct. The quality is awful. Onion rings and French fries half full, cold and/or burned. This last order was suppose to be no sauce on a chicken sandwich with extra pickles. Instead we have no pickles, old lettuce and lots of sauce! We attempted to write emails several times to express our concern without going to a public forum but those emails never received a response. What happened to the old Whataburger we grew up with that we use to rave was the best in the country and service was always the best? Will not be back to this location and will drive to a different. Any suggestions on a better location? Are there any left?

1st time at this location. Seriously, I have eaten easily thousands of Whataburgers in the last 50 years. For a short time in my life, in between jobs, I managed a very busy store back in the early 1990's.. I've been to over a hundred locations across Texas and beyond. Why the history lesson? This store needs a lot of work ON the staff. I had a simple order, Whataburger meal with cheese and no onions with a coke. What did I get as I drove away? A Whataburger wrapped as a cheeseburger with onions, dry, no tomato, a small order of fries, different ketchup than I asked for and a Dr Pepper. The worst part is the meat was cold and the bun torn. The young lady handing my order to me called out exactly what I had ordered as she looked in the bag and was the one who place the wrong ketchup in the bag. The order took longer than it should have from my experience and I do mean very S L O O O O W. The entire crew did look young. They were all having a great time laughing, however. Hopefully they will learn to take their customer orders more seriously.

3/6 meals ordered were incorrect. Loss of quality control after the sell to Chicago? Tough to see. Order 963371.

Incredibly slow service. Many customers left the line due to slow movement of traffic.

Food is good obviously but the service sucks. You wait in line 20 minutes and your food is freezing cold by the time you get it.

This unassuming restaurant tucked in a corner of nondescript row of stores has stood the test of time. My first review of the place was in 2013. Here it is 13 years later then it is still going strong. I went for lunch with the family on a snow day. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. No numbers, they just remember who you are. I always get combo number 1 and add sweet potato fries. The prices are great and not much more than McDonalds but the difference in value is significant. The burgers are not thick but this time I noticed the double burger (#2) is just a couple of bucks more than the the single patty in #1. Note to self for next time. Although the patty is thin, the flavors work. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mustard. No ketchup, you add that yourself. The bun with sesame seeds always comes out piping hot. Sweet potato fries are crispy and not greasy. The combo comes with a drink for $10.99. That's a deal. I hope they stay in business another 13 years!

The patties are juicy, the buns are toasted perfectly, and everything tastes fresh and made with care. You can tell they are not trying to be trendy. They are just focused on making a solid burger every single time. It is the kind of place you keep coming back to because it never disappoints. Quick, simple, and consistently good. If you care more about flavor than atmosphere, this is the spot.

The neighborhood may continue to change around it, but Chip's remains the same. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Chip's has an old school, nostalgic feel. The restaurant has an iconic sloping roof with a yellow outdoor exterior and a big green sign with its logo. Inside, there are plenty of booths, a bar, and even outdoor seating. Chip's has grown and expanded over the years but to me that adds to the nostalgic charm. 1 Star. Service - Chip's may have invented counter service. Upon entering, you look at the menu posted on the wall and place your order. You'll get a number (or they'll ask for your name), and you grab a table, and when your food is ready it comes out. Fast, efficient, and the staff was super friendly. 1 Star. Food - Chip's is known for its poppy seed hamburger buns. While it's pretty and tasty, the most important part, the patty, is pretty average. Honestly, there are many other great burger joints in Dallas. On the other hand, the fried onion strings are a must order for your side. While I wasn't a fan of the burger, the fried onion strings saved my meal. The Oreo and Fresh Banana shakes were also a nice cold, creamy, sweet ending to my meal. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. I hope Chip's never changes. The restaurant has an iconic look, it's part of Dallas history, and the staff is great. 1 Star.

We ordered the fried mushrooms to start, and they were so hot that one of us severely burned her lower gums on them. Seriously! A prescription from the dentist was sought; mea culpa but damn. Once they were less volcanic, they were good. We split a burger with fried onions, and it was dry. The meat was overbooked, the bun was over toasted, and the whole thing needed plenty of beer to go down smoothly. The fries are fine, and we did appreciate that they had some steamed broccoli on the menu. Our daughter was happy with her kids cheeseburger meal, and she did like the chocolate-caramel malt shake she scored at the end. A main reason that we're landing on three stars is the ice cream situation. One of us ordered a soft serve vanilla, and nobody told her that the machine was down, so what she got instead was a cup of half melted Blue Bell soup...are you kidding! Thanks for the prompt refund, but letting your customer know what the situation is in advance goes a long way. So, we tried it. Add a notch to the Dallas belt. We wish them well, but we won't be returning. There are better burgers in DFW.
