I don't ever have problems with my food at this location! The breakfast bowls with eggs, jalapeño cheddar biscuit, sausage and hash brown sticks topped with gravy will always be goodT!!!!! I've also had the burgers and they are typical good WB! Where this location fails is service. I am always waiting very long after my pickup time for them to bring me my food. Lots of mornings, I'm not dressed to get out the car so I'm real perturbed. If they would fix whatever is holding them up, it would be great! Texans like a burger made "just like you like it". I have always received my order as placed whether it is a taquito for breakfast or a cheeseburger and fries for lunch or dinner. Staff has been polite and helpful. You can eat inside nice new building or grab and go. read more

Last night I didn't get any sleep, somehow mosquitoes invaded my house and kept me up all night buzzing in my ear... and eating me. Went to work despite 2 hours sleep. I work in Houston, horrible commute. Came home exhausted, itchy, and hungry. I skipped lunch today, didn't feel like cooking. That's where Whataburger came in, Whataburger is always a win. Wait. No. Not this one. Not this time. My fries weren't hot they were room temp. They weren't salted. They tasted like they were cooked yesterday. I imagined this is what it's like to eat a pool noodle. I ate two and threw them away. They hurt my feelings. The burger was lukewarm warm at best and tasted mediocre. Not what I'd expect from Whataburger. I ate it anyway because I hadn't ate all day. I have been eating @ Whataburger nearly all of my life (I'll be 69 years young next month). I grew up in Corpus Christi, the Home-town of Whataburger. We eat there 5-6 times every week. I just Love Whataburger !!! On another note, I am also an avid Chess player, since my Dad taught me how to play 60 years ago. The food in my book would taste better if the service was better, I'm not talking about the wait, that in and of itself doesn't bother me much as long as the quality of the meal is worth the wait. The real problem is the surly attitude of the employees, the rudeness of some of them have turned me off of dinning at the Montgomery location. Suggestion to management, you need a handle on the youngsters working at your location, maybe "Anger Management Classes" as a training option. Fire those incapable of meeting service member standards. To the staff! This is a service industry and a part of service is not being greeted by workers with "Bad Attitudes"! If I could leave no stars I would!!! We stopped for ONE drink in the drive thru and the shift leader with blonde hair last night told us to go to the second lane with 7 other cars in with a 20 minute wait for one drink instead of the 3 car 1st lane?? We backed out and just went inside and got the drink... as we were filling up our cup that same lady screams from the back "yeah they came from the drive thru cause they didn't want to wait" with a smartass mouth and attitude. I have never had problems with Whataburger until this establishment opened up near me. Their service is slow they always mess up food orders. Every time I try to order ranch or any extra things that cost extra they never give so I have to go back in and complain that I didn't get my sauces or they didn't give me the right burger or food... Great addition to the area. However, like many other Whataburger locations, the drive thru is slow and your order gets messed up. Ordered a plain burger and ended up with a cheeseburger loaded with jalapeños. It wasn't even a busy evening, only 2 cars in front of me. Hopefully they will eventually get better at it. read more

Ordered food for my employees via the app. We had 2 patty melt meals, 2 chicken strip meals, a Cobb salad with extra chicken, and a bunless cheeseburger. When picking up the order, it took forever bfor the order to come out. When I got the order, I asked the curbside employee if everything was there, and she hesitantly said yes. I'm not confident everything is there. I checked the order! It's missing the fries from one of the party melt meals, the Cobb salad, and the gravy for the chicken tenders meal. When I get out of the car to go inside, an employee informs me they're out of lettuce and can't make the salad, and go to get the fries. I said, "How are you out of lettuce, and why wasn't I told She apologize, but couldn't explain why I wasn't informed, I asked for a refund and she says she can't give me one because I ordered on the app. When a manager comes to talk to me, she goes on to blame the first young lady for but informing me and says she can't give me a refund and have to call. I told her I needed my refund because if you took the money and then got terrible service, missing items, and excuses, why shouldn't I get my money back? G eventually gave me my money while loudly expressing this wasn't allowed!!! When I finally get back to work, the food is cold! And the bunless burger looks like dog food! After my friend was almost done with her meal and the other guests had received their to go orders I went to ask about my order. He acted annoyed and said "what" when I came to ask for my order. I said I had not yet received it. He then returned without a word to the back and comes back a moment later tossing a brownie on my tray carelessly without a word. I also needed to ask a second time for a fork and knife for my friend (the bar was out of them) and he was uninterested when she asked for one. After getting my food it then was missing cheese and I figured it was futile to ask this employee for anything more than the terrible service we had received thus far. The location takes forever to make your order and get it out to you. it's even worse in the evening when there's a bunch of young people working that are cutting up and playing around. I ordered a fish sandwich and apparently the person that took the order was not even near a cash register so when I got to the window to pay the employee told me that they had just begun to cook the fish and so I have to wait five minutes. also the cashier had the window open in the drive-through and had to warn the other employees that the window was open and that I could hear what they were saying- not professional at all. Very disappounted in the manager at this new Whataburger. My grand daughter and I were looking forward to trying out the new Whataburger. We got stuck in an hour and half traffic line with no way out. We had to shuffle car around for people that parked wrong, which we did patiently.
