Save you money and save your time. The management is an absolute pathetic joke. To say the service is slow would be a huge overstatement. I filled out the survey from the receipt and within minutes the store mange called me trying to chew me out for leaving a negative review, accussed me of me wanting her to lose her job, asked if the reason I didn't talk to management before I left is because I don't want them to know what I look like. Went on the first day it was opened and waited 10 minutes. Which is not long and I definitely expected to wait on the grand opening day. Also, the manager was in the parking lot directing traffic. Had both lanes open and had it under control. You guys are doing great!!!! read more

I love Whataburger! Unfortunately I do not love this Whataburger. Since this new location has opened I have been there 10 or 12 times and never have I managed to get through the drive-thru in less than 20 minutes and I have been there with less than 4 cars in front of me. This morning I waited 30 minutes for a taquito, cinnamon roll and coffee. On top of it all when I get to the window they tell me they are out of hashbrowns (I am there at 8:00am) and ask if fries are ok? It was not OK. On top of that I wore half the coffee because I was handed a cup with the top not on good. Please Whataburger, bring in someone to help you improve your service!!! read more

Terrible service, so very slow especially in the drive through. They don't even give you a napkin or ketchup! You have to ask for it. Today really made me mad! They have 2 of there poor employees standing out in the direct sun no cover whatsoever taking orders. There was no line to even place orders at this point! I paid the young girl with my credit card and once I finally made it to the 2nd window (17 mins later) the guy is arguing with me that I haven't paid yet. He shut the window on me and I had to ask for my drink! WTH!!! I ended up going in to the store to get a fresh order of fries because mine were cold. I asked for the manager and told her that I needed some hot fries please and that their idea of having their employees stand out in the hot sun was not working. She said to me "ma'am we are not Chic-fil-a. NO you certainly are not! Pitiful management! The lines are long because the management has not trained their employees well. I have had numerous experiences at this location that are similar to the following: Last night (7/20/22), I went through the drive through around 11:30pm. I was the only car in the drive through when I first arrived. I ordered a patty melt meal w/ a HBCB, and it took exactly 27 minutes for them to bring me my food (!!!). First in line...typical and relatively small order..."fast" food... and it took 27 minutes. I actually would've saved myself time by driving to Tomball instead. In fact, most sit-down restaurants that I frequent take significantly less time to prepare a meal. To some extent I feel that it may be an understaffing issue, but it's plainly apparent to any reasonably observant person that the employees are 90% messing around, if not dragging their feet. The 3-4 employees working at this time were ostensibly talking and laughing about non-work-related things, and further, the woman I dealt with was particularly apathetic and unapologetic (I am never rude to fast food employees as they are already underpaid, so her attitude was entirely unwarranted). By all means, I don't expect the workers to beg for my forgiveness, but a "sorry for the wait" seems to be the bare minimum in such situations. I have no doubt that 2 employees at 15+/hour would be markedly more efficient than 10 of their current (presumably minimum wage employees. Also, Patty melt/fries were ok, but the biscuit was outrageously greasy. I truly hope that the franchisee(s) read these reviews, as I am also reporting them to corporate. I don't recommend this location. Our family was so excited for this new Whataburger location to open in Magnolia. Normally, we would have to drive twenty minutes in one of two directions to get to a Whataburger and this new location is only five minutes away. Unfortunately, we're done with this new location. I would say that eight out of ten times, we've been sadly disappointed by the service and poor food quality that this new location has to offer. It usually takes us twenty to thirty minutes to get through the drive through, nine times out of ten our order isn't correct and has missing food items and usually the food is luke warm or outright cold. I've even gone inside for sit down meals and got the wrong food items and the food was cold. YUCK! I would expect more from a new location and I was hoping that the poor performance of this location was because of the newness of the store and it's staff but it's been a year since this place has been open and they're STILL screwing up. I can't take it anymore, so I guess I'll have to take my Whataburger cravings back to the other two locations our family frequents, whenever we get the Whataburger urge. So I originally would give this three stars HOWEVER, basically this evening I left my house at 11:15 I got there at 11:30 pm and I waited in the line which wasn't that long for 45 minutes okay, alright fine whatever I get to the window to get my order which was placed online through the app, and i see the manager frustrated and she kindly tells me that there was a mix up and that she's remaking my order. Okay so I pull up for an additional ten minutes at this location, I ordered 2 taqitos and a honey butter chicken biscuit. But whatever , anyways I get the "my" food finally!! However it was WRONG again! I got 3 burgers an iced tea and a chocolate shake. Idk how I think he world they got my order mixed with this one. So I pull up next to the drive thru and start dialing their number. Y'all let me tell you the lady who answered the phone and got my very upset phone call was calm cool and very processional , she tells me that she will remake the order and to just wait max 5 minutes. She kept her word and she remade my order CORRECTLY. Linda, she talked to me for a bit and explained the mix up and i was so pleased with her and her professionalism regardless of how mad I was she really remained calm to herself which is very rare now-a-days. I think today will be the last time I visit this location on Melton in Magnolia. I have been probably 15-20 times since it opened and I have yet to get my order complete or correct! Unacceptable!! And to top it off, when I made my one call to them, I was "lucky" enough to speak to the manager. When I explained it all to her, she seemed really irritated and told me to give her my order number off the receipt. When I told her I had already trashed it she then asked what did I want her to do. I told her I did not want to return just to not get what I paid for again, but they should really consider getting their Sh!t TOGETHER!!!!!! She did not like that much and hung up!! Some people just cant handle the truth I guess. Anyway I filed a complaint so we shall see. Not sure what they need to do to correct their service but something needs to happen before they become "another shop shut down", because their business has seen a sharp decline since they opened and the reviews are not looking too good right now either!! So I get that they are new and I wanted to give them a few visits before I reviewed. Of course they are backed up bc so many are excited their open. However this should mean the food is coming out piping hot and fresh. I have gone a total of 5 times: 3 lunch & 2 breakfast. Unfortunately every time I have gone they have forgotten something like a hash browns, fries, or a whole second bag. Today I went and got Fries for me and 2 cinnamon rolls for the kiddos. The fries were warm at best and either they aren't frying them long enough, have a different oil, or they are old. It's seriously the thing I love most at Whataburger is their fries and this location theirs are tough, odd taste to it and even after I asked for fresh fries bc the others were cold they brought out lukewarm ones in place of the others. Just very disappointed so far at their ability to pay attention to details. Also the lady running food out refused to give me more ketchup than 2 I couldn't find bc they were underneath the rolls.
