This is one of the worst Whataburgers I've been to. Wait times are too long, food is under seasoned, sweet tea is NOT sweet and my fries are almost always cold and bland. After this last time of waiting more than 15 min in a drive thru (after I had ordered) I decided to never return to this location again. The only good thing about this place is the employees are friendly. But friendly faces is not good enough for their lackluster food or services. Why is it so difficult to get an order correct? I try to check my order, but I order 5 items and get 3 paper sacks all in 1 big plastic sack so I have to take everything out and open every single package. Every time I assume that this one must be correct, I get home to yep - I shouldn't have assumed that the other burger would have been in that 1 sack in which I didn't look. And when called upon, I must return to the store just to receive the item that I paid for, but didn't receive - no other way for a credit. This Whataburger has gone downhill since the last change of management. I ordered the patty melt just to try it and it was nowhere near the appearance as advertised. The bread was soggy and much thinner than the photos and TV ads. The meat & cheese, also thinner, slipped around resulting in a messy experience. Just tonight I tried to call the store to speak to the manager when I ask for the manager spelling of his name he hung up on me. I'm a fat Texan no doubt about that and I love my what a burger, but man was this location a disappointment. From getting into the parking lot to leaving took about 30 mins, and that wouldn't be so bad if it all wasn't messed up. The best way to eat their chicken strips and fries is with the gravy, and the only way to eat their toast is the gravy. Have to say I've been to a lot of Whataburger restaurants in my life but by far this one is the best. Florentine and his crew make me feel like I'm home when I walk through the door. I'm always greeted promptly when I come in. Everyone remembers who I am and it's a good feeling to be a customer and not just a number. Whenever I place my online order and pick it up they are always quick and the quality is great. I never get cold food or anything missed in my bag. To top it off Florentine or one of his managers always checks my bag to make sure the order is correct before walking out. Tonight, Sunday, 6:30pm, I ordered 2 double-meat Whataburgers, one w/ cheese, plus a sm fries & a med (bc they don't have small) onion rings as a to-go order. This was just under $15. Eaten at home, 7 min later, the burger buns were as flattened & tasteless as any cardboard would have been. At Whataburger, the buns are not toasted. The skimpy lettuce was completely wilted. The pungent oil on the over-browned onion rings & the fries was stale, old & left a bad aftertaste. So, in effect, 98% of our $15 meal was painfully unpleasant. We have frequented Whataburger often since they first opened a few years ago which used to always be a delight. But we've increasingly had less & less satisfaction with the quality of food. As the last straw on the camel's back, we have now vowed never to return to Whataburger after tonight's new low. Whataburger's service, however, still remained above reproach, the young people treating customers well. Our house being nearby, however, we feel Whataburger's quality slide will eventually lower all community property values. Afterall, decent FOOD is what it's about! read more

Those Nights, you know the ones, maybe you're sobering up, maybe it's 3 am you need whataburger NOW. We all have our reasons, but one thing is true everyone loves whataburger, and you don't whataburger loves you! This location is awesome they've never gotten my order wrong, they've never been rude to me. And, as far as fast food goes the food is actually pretty good. Sometimes the lines get long and can be overwhelming but they have been known to open up the second drive through to speed things up. The use a different type of ice in their drinks than other locations use and it's much nicer to eat (Yes my weird-ass eats ice) Typically me and my friends will make our nightly burger runs around midnight right after the 11pm crowd starts to die out, and we've always had a great experience. Last time I was here they gave me extra fries, because the dude liked the song that I was playing in my car. Journey FTW! Everyone knows whats on the menu here so I won't bother you with it, but it does seem like this location is a lot cleaner and better tasting than others. read more

We decided to eat at Whataburger today. The employee was friendly that took our order and we went and sat down. They were out of Coke Zero however I told the employee that it was out and he quickly went to replace and let me know when it was ready which was good. Then our food cane and I must say, these were the most smashed burgers I have ever seen or received. It literally looked like they made the burger then persists to hammer them with their fists. I've had much better burgers at other Whataburgers and even this Whataburger in the past. Also while my son and I are our food, the manager was going around table to table making sure everyone was good however she seemed to go around us a few times never to ask us, seemed odd. Came after work at 3:25pm and I know my order was complicated and Miss Bertha was so patient and nice to me! Very easy to talk to and answered all of my questions! Even when I approached the window she was so sweet! At the second window miss Adeola was even sweeter! They both had the biggest smiles! Honestly seeing them made my day 100% brighter. We always stop here on our way to Brazos Bend for breakfast. Always clean and you even get a sort of table service if you are there for breakfast. Order, get your number, grab a seat and they pretty much do the rest. They even have someone who patrols the seating area to refill your coffee or anything else you feel you may need. Their biscuits and coffee are probably more fresh than most restaurants known for breakfast (Denny's, IHOP, etc.). Staff is always friendly. read more

I really like this particular location. They always try to notice you and get someone to help you quickly. Always clean. Sidewalks constantly washed and windows sparkling. It finally happened. The Chicago corporation has changed the Whataburger boxes to be useful for employees, less than useless for the customer. Go back to using the old boxes for chicken strips, etc. The new box is too tall for my child to use as a plate. The new box has giant holes in it so that the food is cold by the time I get home. The new box is so tall that the lid is too steep to hold fries like the old box. Go back to the old box or its Chic fil a for me. too bad.
