These guys are great. I crashed my BMW 330ci into one of Governor Moonbeam's huge potholes at the 580-680 interchange. Two big dings in both wheels on the driver's side. I went to 3 shops before finding Wheel Service, including a high-end BMW specialist. None of these 3 had their own ability to do the repair (they farmed it out to 3rd parties) and they were doubtful the repair could be done and they wanted a lot of $$$. Manny's folks were able to get the repairs done in a little over an hour. The estimate was for far less than the other 3 shops were going to charge and the estimate was spot on. The repairs turned out much better than expected. You have to look very closely to see where the repair was done. These guys know their craft and are a pleasure to do business with. read more

I took my machine faced corvette rim with curb rash here for repair because I was in a hurry. Sonny removed the tire and ground the rash off at what was probably an 80 grit level and told me he was done and all it needed was a coat of acrylic clear coat. This was ridiculous and I decided to cut my losses and asked him: How much? He said $40. He had found a nail in the tire and patched it before he took the nail out. When he took the nail out it leaked and he had to patch it again. A terrible experience; don't go here! You're warned. read more

I accidentally stumbled upon Wheel Service when looking for another shop that does welding on cracked/damaged rims. They gave me a quote for the repair but I was in a rush and didn't have time to compare prices with other shops so I'm not sure if I got the best deal. In addition, they didn't offer warranty for this repair so that made me slightly uneasy. Minus one star for that. Hopefully the repair lasts long enough until I can replace the rims. So far so good and their service was great. Will definitely come back if the repair holds up as not a lot of places does welding on rims. read more

I was referred to Manny and was very hopeful and looking forward to getting some gorilla locks on my rims. I spoke to Marcos on the phone and he was great. He said I didn't need an appointment, so I took a morning off later that week and arrived at their opening time. No one there, 20 minutes later no one there. I called, no answer. I waited in the car and made a phone call to kill some time and it wasn't till 9:44AM that I was able to walk in there to get service. I questioned them about their start time & they were kinda Nonchalant about it. Ok, moving forward, I explained what I needed and Manny came up to me. I expressed my disappointment in their "Tardiness." I expected he'd want to do some recovery customer service, but nope, he basically gave me excuses about traffic, which is fine, I totally understand, since I drove from Hayward, but he finished his "Excuses" with saying "All I could say is sorry." Well, all I could say is sorry too. I'm sorry that you lack real customer service, the art of apologizing, and failure to acknowledge a customer's time and how you failed in meeting the high expectations that you very much do not deserve, I'm sorry that your ego was bruised for me calling you out on you not taking accountability. I took my 1999 BMW 328i sedan to Wheel Service to fix what I suspected to be some bends in the wheels. I drove in, no appointment, and they were able to take a look at the wheels then and there. They gave me a diagnosis of bent and slightly cracked wheels, and also showed me that my tires were well past their prime and should be replaced. As a car guy, I could verify what they were saying and knew that, while they were upselling, they weren't lying to me or telling me to replace good tires. The next morning, I dropped it off and they fixed the wheels and put on the new tires by the end of the day. Their quality of work seems to match what everyone else has been saying. Took my car in this past Saturday to get my 3 wheels on my Z refurbed. The curb rash was awful. I forgot to take before/after pics. Anyways, s/w Marco and he said he could do one wheel and see if it met my approval. Well, 30 mins. later, I saw the end result and was highly pleased...the wheel looked brand new. I told him to go ahead and do the other 2 and an hour later, my wheels looked brand new again(1 of the wheels was newly replaced after an accident). The worst service I've ever experienced.. came in to buy two front tires and have my front wheels fixed. Kid at the desk Told me they would get one done and the second one fixed when I return the next day on saturday.(My second rim still held air) i came back late the next day so I understand they couldn't work on the second one but hey at least I would be able to put the one they fixed on instead of this donut. But Nah it wasn't ready! It didn't even get touched. Told me they were so busy he didn't even have lunch. The fuck do I care if you had lunch or not. Was told it would gget started on Monday. I don't wanna wait till Monday. I came to this shop because you said it would get done saturday. Doesn't matter why I need them done by Saturday. Your the business that said you could get it done, so I went with you. But you didnt. Not even with one. So I paid a percentage price to restock tires and took my wheels and my business elsewhere. Told me 150 each wheel to be fixed My total was 375 with brand new tires How the hell did i get 2 tires for that price i don't know I thought that was weird too. But i spent 85$ to restock them?? Got refunded for 290. I spent 85$ so your business can babysit my bent rim for the night. As a business be more professional. I brought the diagnostic read out and defective part back to Wheel Service and they did not want to reimburse me the cost of the part.
