Being from Canada, you would think it would be both easy and relatively cost efficient to buy tires here in the great white north. But believe it or not, I have bought 2 sets of tires and rims from Ray at Wheel Tech, had them shipped and still came out much cheaper and with less hassle than buying them in Canada. I first bought a set of Winters on Rims for our G55. Ray was able to quote a price all in including shipping, duties, taxes and import fees. I paid one price to my door and once converted to Canadian dollars was a touch less than the dealer or local tuner place wanted for the same tires alone. The tires arrived 5 calender days after placing the order via Fed Ex ground. I again turned to Ray for a new set of summers and got the same great service and pricing on a set of 22's for our G wagon. Proving the great service and pricing was not a fluke, but rather the Norm. A very nice place where you get to see what they've done to your car. They won't send you off to a lounge and just tell you to wait. Found them on eBay. Called and found out they had sold the wheel/tire package that I wanted, but they ordered more and they would arrive a week later. Called a week later and the guy remembered who I was and even remembered the modification that I wanted. Ordered the package over the phone and they arrived the next day! I went to Wheel Tech because my boss instructed me to take the company vehicle there for service on 1 of the tires. When I arrived there at about 10am I was told by the guy in charge to come back after 12pm because they are busy. When I came back after 12pm his brother was there on the phone by himself. He seemed to be in a bad mood. He told me to go sit on the couch. After they put on a new tire I asked "How's it looking? He got upset and said "It's a new tire, how do you want it to look?" I asked if he was in a good mood? He said "No & if you don't like it you can leave" I asked why he was being such an "ass"? He said that when I went in the store I went too far in the back. He then told me FU a few times and acted like he was going to hit me. Then he would leave then come back and yell more insults at me and again act like he wanted to fight. Finally his brother ,the more professional one told him to leave. I think he might have been experiencing roid rage. Very unprofessional & the worst experience. read more
