I purchased a set of custom US Mag wheels from Gene Tjin at Wheel Warehouse. These wheels are custom made for each customer. There are several factors that are crucial to any and every wheel build, probably the most important one being offset and backspacing. These figures must be known to ensure that the wheels fit correctly. I'm learning this after the fact unfortunately. When I ordered the wheels I told Gene exactly what I was looking for and I sent him pictures. I explained that the wheels MUST tuck inside the fender as my truck is lowered and the body would rub/cut into tires if they stick out past the fender well. For this to happen, you must know what backspacing and offset you need. Gene however failed to even mention this so I'm not sure how the wheels were even made. Obviously it was just guessed at. There is no standard number, every vehicle and application is different.Unfortunately I didn't know this at the time I ordered my wheels. That is Genes job. He is the professional. He is suppose to ensure that all aspects of the build are gone over, just like a recipe there is a certain way to make the wheels fit like I requested. Since it was never discussed, of course two months later the wheels arrive at my door and guess what? The wheels stick out past the fender. This will not work on my truck so I just spent $4250 on wheels that I can't use!!!! After informing Gene that the wheels are wrong, he then tells me basically sorry bout your luck Jackie. He refuses to make the wheels right because it will cost him money. So basically because he failed to do his job I'm just stuck with a set of $4250 useless wheels. After much convincing he agrees to refund my money but not until I ship them back to him and he receives them. I'm just supposed to trust that he will pay. Even though he wouldn't trust that I would send them and go ahead and refund me. So he gets the wheels back and there are minor dings and scratches, all from normal use. Simply having them on the truck for a very short period of time. He also claims that 3 out of 4 are bent......, Yes bent! Because of this he now tells me that he can't refund my money. The bottom line here is none of this would have happened if he had done his job correctly to begin with. As it stands he has the wheels and my money. I'm beside myself that this is even a discussion but it speaks volumes about his character and the company's way of operating. Oh I forgot to mention that when I first spoke with Gene to order the tires he upcharged me over $1000 more than what the wheels were advertised for. They were too low he said.Unbelievable. please help me,this is wrong. Surely there is something that can be done. They need to make the wheels right or refund my money. That's the right thing to do. my experience for upgrading my 2013 camaro ss is as follows. I got there close to 7:30 am, Saturday. And already 5 customers were already walking around drinking coffee in the parking lot. WW opened up early just to hand out coffee, but not to 'officially open'. ( opened at 8am). Since i drove from the IE to OC, it was nice to go to the bathroom, and get something warm in me. I had been working with Rick Teeter earlier in the week, and had decided on the Vossen CF5 in graphite grey, and staggered offset combo. I picked Nitto NT05's at 275x30x20 in the front, and 315x30x20 in the rear. Once they finished, they parked the car, and we all took pictures! The camaro is dark blue, so it looks like a predator or something... I have to rate the entire staff an "A+". Not only for my car, but workers were constantly walking thru and updating various customers on the progress of their cars. At one time, there were 4 women there, 2 with small children. I was Impressed. My car looks and runs great. I am very happy, and I give a big Thumbs Up to the Camaro5.com forum for steering me in that direction...well worth the time, and drive down there. The Wheel Warehouse is the place to go to get your new rims and tires! William was great! I gave him a call to order some rims I saw online and other options for my Palisade. He was able to answer my questions and always got back to me in a timely manner. He was definitely an expert and knew what I was looking for. We finally found a set of wheels I liked. I was looking for new 22''s, he was patient with me and made me feel important. He ordered them and they arrived in 4 days. I spoke to him on a Friday and, to my surprise, we were set up to place the new wheels on my car a couple of hours later. I loved how this showed he respected my time. Once at the store, he showed me the wheels to make sure it was what I wanted. He was very helpful. He also wanted to try a couple of tires to make sure they fit. I was happy to have this test. Fantastic! And that's a hard comment to earn from me, I am a wheel/tire place's worst nightmare because I expect them to be as careful and meticulous as I am. I would rather go to the dentist to have cavities filled than experience the anxiety associated with someone monkeying my wheels on a mounting machine. Anyway, I found their set of take-off wheels/tires via the internet. Wheel Warehouse humbly described them as "gently used". I called and talked to them, and we came to an agreement on just the wheels knowing the tires would have to be dismounted. I hesitantly sent them a paypal payment for the wheels, cautiously trusting their description. That was late wednesday night, they arrived at my house saturday morning. They were packaged in really beefy, really cool boxes that were sure to protect them from the FedEx rumpus. When I opened the boxes, I beheld some like-new wheels. Beautiful! I spoke with Michael and ordered 4 rims and a set of lock lugs on the Monday BEFORE Thanksgiving. I was told the rims would ship out in 3 days. 2 weeks later, no rims and no tracking information, but my credit card was charged. I call on December 12, to find out my rims were NOT even in stock in the warehouse, and NOT shipped. I asked and emailed for a full refund. On December 13, I get a call from Michael, with an apology, but the rims are now in stock and will ship out the next day, with estimated delivery December 19th. It's now December 23, NO rims or lock lugs. Tracking has showed "Pending" since 4am on December 19. No movement, and no estimated delivery date. Since a signature is required for delivery, IF they ever show up, I will be denying shipment and having the order returned in Wheel Warehouse. I ordered a full 30 days before Christmas for the rims to be delivered. I will now need to make alternative plans for my sons Christmas present, on Christmas Eve. read more

There is no organization better than Wheel Warehouse for tires, anything to do with wheels and alignment! I had a quote from a car dealership for an issue with my wheels (all four) plus a very minor hood adjustment for $3,125 and they would need the car for the entire day! Wheel Warehouse, Mike Yablanka took a look at what needed to be done, talked with his mechanic and came back with a much lower estimate and only needed to have the car for 4 hours to do the repairs and they would use Lexus parts. Well, lo and behold, the actual cost saved me over $1,800 and the work was done in 4 hours! NO ONE could ask for better, quicker or well-done service as Wheel Warehouse provides to anyone in the OC. They need a negative star rating. Soooo this guy Devin is the LAZIEST least knowledgeable person working in this industry that I've ever encountered. (I'm not a young man either so I've been to my fair share of wheel shops) So lurch, I mean Devin proceeds to tell me the camber in the rear affected my steering a diagnosis made with his EYES not putting it on the lift or even inspecting the issue. I have never been told something so IDIOTIC. Upon taking it to Salinas Tires in La Habra I was told I needed an alignment and guess what... they were right on the money. Dont buy a stick of gum from these ppl let alone wheels or have them service your car. Itll be a waste of time money and tou will be disappointed. read more

Two things. On June 11, 2016 Brett Peters was a tremendous help with my purchase of a set of TSW Nurburgrings on my CTS Coupe. That experience went perfectly, and Brett's suggestions for sizes and widths was just right. All was perfect for a little over two weeks when a family member had a little run in with a curb and ruined the left rear wheel. Brett wasn't in when I went back to have it replaced but Rick picked up the ball for me and bent over backward to not only replace the wheel to my satisfaction, but he worked with the owner of WW and even put in a call to TSW to lessen the pain of having to replace a brand new wheel. I don't ever write reviews - but these guys truly are honest, great people. I just had the front end of my 2013 GMC 2500 re-done, and a lift kit and new tires installed. My truck drives now better than new. This is the 5th truck they have done a for me and the prices are super fair and the work is first class. On 2/13/25, I went to the Porsche dealership in Newport Beach. My tire on my new Cayenne had a nail in it. Porsche will not repair tires and only will replace them. I went to this store to buy new rims/tires for one of my cars. One of the sales reps told me a price for a set of rims/tires I wanted. I went to get the money from the bank and when I came back another sales rep trying to charge me more than what the other sales rep that told me. They try to take advantage of people. Once I asked to talk to the manager, they said he wasn't available and nobody could give me a straight answer why they were changing the price on me.
