My request went through the Yelp Project page first and Jose was very fast with his response. He told me I could come in on a Friday morning as a walk in. Gino who took care of my intake was very friendly and made me feel welcome. They also had a comfy waiting area stocked with complimentary coffee and snacks, but I didn't need to wait long because I was out of there within an hour, oil changed and tires rotated. Their prices are fair and they accept both credit card and cash/Zelle (if you want to avoid the 3% credit card surcharge). During the oil change they also noted some things that will need repair, but weren't pushy with their recommendations. For that I am very appreciative, and will most definitely come back for their continued services.

I dropped my truck off on Saturday, March 14th at 9:00 AM. Around 2:30 PM, I received a call that the four tires I requested to have replaced was ready for pick up. After paying $1,061.57 for the tires and labor, I drove off the lot only for my truck to begin violently shaking, forcing me to pull over immediately. I contacted my husband, who came to assist, but the truck was undrivable. I returned to Stress Free Auto Care and explained the situation. At that point, my husband was already waiting for a tow truck. Instead of addressing the issue, we were told they were closing and would not inspect the vehicle until Monday. I could hear the mechanic complaining that he was tired and didn't want to wait around when the manager went to speak to him. I specifically asked if anyone actually drove my truck to test it and was told no they did not road test it. Obviously. Due to the poor customer service and urgency of the situation, we had the truck towed to Toyota of Orange. After inspection, we were informed that the lug nuts had been grossly over-tightened, three were broken and one was missing entirely. This was not a minor mistake; it caused significant damage to the wheel components and created a serious safety hazard. Proper torque is a basic standard that any competent shop should follow, yet it was clearly ignored. No one from Stress Free Auto Care contacted us at any point the following week. After Toyota kept the truck for a week and a half, we were left with a repair bill of $3,332.03. My husband sent a certified letter to Stress Free Auto Care, including documentation of the damages and requesting reimbursement. The manager eventually responded, offering to reimburse only the cost of the tires without acknowledging the additional damages or expenses incurred. As a result, we have filed a lawsuit to recover our losses. I strongly caution anyone to use Stress Free and to choose a business that values safety, accountability, and professional standards.

A few hours later, I called for an update and was told they had found a parasitic battery drain and needed to run additional tests. Later that day, they called back and said the problem was simply a faulty battery and that replacing it would solve the issue. I approved the repair, which ended up costing about $430 for the battery. After picking up the car, I immediately noticed that some of the electronics were not working correctly and it still felt like the battery was being drained. Because the original diagnosis didn't seem to match the symptoms, I took the vehicle to Al's Electric Repair in Anaheim, a shop that had successfully fixed an electrical issue on another vehicle of mine. Al's quickly identified a parasitic drain caused by a camera installed inside the cabin. Once they repaired the drain, the electrical issues disappeared and the car has been running properly ever since. What concerns me is that the first shop initially told me they had found a parasitic drain, but later concluded that the battery was the only problem. Whether the battery needed replacement or not, the actual drain remained and was causing the issues I brought the car in for. Based on my experience, Al's Electric Repair accurately diagnosed and repaired the problem, and they have now successfully resolved electrical issues on two of my vehicles.

He gently pushed against the fender until the crease went away and pulled the bumper edge outward until it lined up flush against the fender. I got three other quotes up to $2600 requiring to replace the bumper and paint the fender to match! The car is over 5 years old but the entire body is in great shape. I wasn't looking for a perfect repair. Lawrence at the start asked if I wanted a perfect restoration or something reasonable. I definitely wanted something reasonable because I didn't want to go through my insurance company for an aging car. After he finished the repair, you can't even notice any damage. I wish more body shops were more honest like Signature Auto body. Last thing, I plan to come back with my other car that needs more extensive work but at least I know I'm dealing with someone who I can trust! :)

Since my truck was out of warranty, I wasn't sure where to turn. I reached out through Yelp and heard back from Ed almost immediately. He had a good idea of what might be wrong and invited me to bring the truck in for an assessment. After inspecting it, he identified damage (caused by rats) to the transmission wiring harness, which had unfortunately caused internal damage. He walked me through everything clearly and provided a very reasonable estimate for a full rebuild. Throughout the entire process, Ed was easy to communicate with, always professional, and genuinely helpful with his advice. What really stood out was how he went above and beyond after the repair. I was told this type damage might be covered under my comprehensive auto insurance. Ed then took the time to work directly with my insurance company--providing detailed documentation and expert insight. Because of his effort and experience, the claim was approved and the repair ended up being fully covered. That level of service is rare these days. I truly appreciate Ed's honesty, professionalism, and follow-through. He did exactly what he said he would do and then some. I wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend him to anyone in need of transmission work.

I used to frequent this spot because it's close to home and usually offers friendly service. Unfortunately, today was disappointing. The young man at the counter seemed distracted, multitasking and making calls while assisting me both during check-in and check-out. The real issue is that my check engine light came on just a month after an oil change. When I mentioned this, he fumbled through the system and insisted I hadn't gotten the oil change there. Their records only showed an air filter and wiper blades. The only proof I had was the oil change sticker on my window, which confirmed it had been done. The other thing that bugged me is that they returned my car with the low tire pressure light on. I assumed that as a primary tire store they would check the basics. After waiting over an hour, I reminded them I was still there, and only then did they finally look at my car. They acknowledged that the oil had been changed recently, but said it was low. I questioned how it could lose oil with no visible leaks in just a month. They said they added oil while I stood outside, watching. However, I did not see them top it off. In short: loss of confidence, poor organization, slow service, and dishonest customer service. I will take my car elsewhere for all future services needed. Update: Junior the District Manager called and offered an apology on Big O behalf. They also offered to refill my oil. I truly appreciate it and I may reconsider. Ah, the joys of owning a Tesla. The sleek design, the quiet engine, the incredible speed... and of course, the occasional need for new tires. As a discerning Tesla owner, I only trust the best with my precious ride, and that's why I turned to this tire replacement shop. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in good hands. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and didn't even flinch when I told them I needed tires for a Tesla. Would not recommend. I purchased 5 new tires for my 5th wheel trailer. Less than a year with about 1000 miles one tire failed. I returned and they would not honor manufacturer warranty. I needed a tire so I purchased another. Original tires were 10 ply tires and they installed an 8 ply tire. Told them I needed the 10 ply and they said they would need to order. When I picked it up it was a different brand but a 12 ply so that would work. Tire states needed to be inflated to 100 psi. I checked and it was only inflated to 40 psi. Will not be going back there read more

They are AWESOME! I took in my baby worried about that the front left tire was about to blow. They took such good care of me. The looked at all the tires filled them, checked the pressure, checked every thing they could. They didn't find anything wrong except the tires were low and the front left was a little loose. They fixed everything and didn't even charge me. I can't say enough about their kindness and care. I'll definitely be going there for all my car and tire needs from now on! read more

I needed a wheel alignment so I took it to Big O tires in Orange where I bought my tires and Junior (the guy is cool) took great care of my car. He was straight up about the price and guaranteed the work. He also gave me a copy of the specs before and after the alignment. It also comes with a 6 month warranty. I had a pretty good experience with my oil change. The staff was friendly and efficient, and they didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary services. The waiting area was comfortable, which made the short wait time more pleasant. Overall, I'd say they did a solid job--definitely worth checking out! read more

I mad an appointment at 3pm to get 1 tire patched. They told me it won't be very long. After waiting an hour and a half I noticed they haven't even touched my truck. I'm still waiting and they told me it's gonna be at least an hour. SLOWEST TIRE SHOP IN ORANGE COUNTY!!! read more

I was assured--emphatically--that you could. That assurance proved untrue. I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change and asked that someone look at the Subaru EyeSight system warning, which directed me to consult the manual for a reset. The service technician was disengaged from the start. When I followed up later, I was told the car was done and was given a tire recommendation--nothing about the issue I had asked about. Only after I pressed again did he respond, first saying they "cleaned the windshield," then admitting they had not checked the manual at all. When I tried to clarify, his tone became condescending and dismissive. Ultimately, I was told there was no master technician available and they couldn't help me--delivered with attitude and no ownership. When I arrived, there was no acknowledgment of the poor experience, no apology, and no effort to make it right. After nearly three decades and likely over $40,000 spent at this location, this level of service is unacceptable. What concerns me most is not just the missed diagnosis--but the lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer respect. I expect this to be taken seriously. At a minimum, I would like a response from management on how this occurred and what will be done to ensure it does not happen again.

I showed him my call history, and he confirmed that was their number I called on Friday. He told me there might be a mechanic coming in the near future and I am allowed to stay and wait if he shows up. I turned around, and went to Valvoline, my usual 15min oil change spot.
