I brought my car in 2 weeks back when I had a flat tire. I decided to just get all tires done since they were due in a few months. I also got my rear break pads done and also new struts on my front. 1600$ later my car was ready for pick up the next day. The car alignment was all messed up and it hugs hard to the right... It drove straight before I took it here.. very disappointed and I probably will not return again. The clerk at the front who took my payment didn't give me the receipt on what they have done for my car either. I think I'll go to Americas tire next time. read more

came on a sunday morning to have some wheels dismounted. took care of it immediately. manager was friendly. i had a great experience.

Get a second opinion. I brought my car in because of occasional noise from rear passenger side. They said my rear brakes were metal to metal and replaced rear brakes and rotors. They also said my front brakes were to spec and highly recommended replacement. My car was still making the original noise so I brought to a different shop who fixed bushing and no more noise. They also said my front brake pads were at 40% and did not recommend replacement yet. read more

I had tires mounted and balanced approx 10,000 miles ago along with an alignment. After 10,000 miles my car began to vibrate when driving at highway speeds. I took the car in and they told me that my alignment had a 12,000 mile warranty. :) They did the alignment and rebalanced the tires. As I drove my car home I noticed that the vibrations had subsided but now my car was pulling to the right. :( I took it back and talked with a mechanic by the name of Javier who was very committed to diagnose the problem. I highly recommend his service because of his hard work and dedication. Even though I had to make several trips, my car now drives like a Mercedes again. I got an alignment at this Wheel Works and it was worse than when I brought it in. It pulled to the right so bad that I would be in the next lane within a 100 feet of driving. I brought my car back and told the manager about the pulling to the right. I showed him the diagnostic print out that they had given me after the alignment. After a second of analyzing the diagnostic numbers he said that there was nothing he could do to make my car drive straight. Then he gave me some excuse that roads usually slant to the right and that could be pulling my car. Is he joking? I brought my car to Big O and without question or issue, they straightened my alignment. This Wheel Works is never getting my business again. read more

Would not purchase here again.......Let me tell you why if willing to ready my rant! Over the weekend I stopped by and got a verbal quote of $91 per tire on a set of Falcon's 17/55/215 for my commuter Ford Focus. Price sounded fair America Tire was around 100 online for a comparable budget tire and Costco wanted $650 out the door (wholesale my balls- Pizza is good though! not tire prices). I set an appointment for the following Sat with Wheel Works. on Monday I had a personal appointment on Tue which allowed me to be back in San Ramon by 3:30 and I thought perfect let's get the tires kicked out Tuesday instead of Saturday. I called Wheel Works Monday and talked to Marc and reconfirmed I could to move my appointment to Tue at 3:30. "No Problem" I was told. I show up at 3:20 Tue wait five minutes for help then the gentleman that helped me while Marc was on the phone couldn't not find the tires in there database for minute or so. (They probably should leave this guy out in the tire shop). I was asked if I wanted the complimentary wheel alignment check I said sure you can check- (My wife has been driving Ford I bet she probably hit few pot holes in the process!- Sorry Honey) I was told it would a few minutes extra I was ok with a reasonable amount of time so I agreed. I go and sit in their waiting area I am there on an IPad and watching some TV from 3:30 to 4:50. I finally get up to see why things are taking so long an look into the shop from the front desk and they are just starting to pull wheels off my Ford. I asked Marc are you guys just starting work on my car. He stated" Yes, sorry about that were getting on it right away". I stated have been here since 3:30 and I had an appointment this is ridiculous. Marc seemed flustered could tell this is not the first time a customer has been pissed. I went back in the waiting area and sat down 10 minutes later Marc told me that when they check the alignment they will make any needed adjustments at no charge. Big Friggin deal! Considering the car is a 2012 doubtful it needs any major calibrating (even know the Wire has been hit pot holes) modern cars are not as bad with alignments as older cards were, like I said big deal does not correct my time wasted unreasonably. About 30 min late now 5:32pm (or so) "Were all done!" and was told we can complete the paper work. Guess what the tire price was $101 dollars not $91.00. I was so pissed I paid and did not even bring it up ( I know my bad I can't bag on them for me not following but still on service level if you don't remember customers conversation and so forth you are NOT offering Premium service). I was told that again I got the alignment for free but on the paper states no details of anything specific was completed only stock verbiage. I would assume like I previously stated nothing was needed. Marc proceeded to tell me that he was the assistant manager (Random- Probably new I would file a complaint) and if I needed anything he can help? What does this have to do about already offering poor customer service? You did not remember your customer, nor did you fix the unreasonable amount of my time wasted by me waiting for you guys to get your sh*t together. Service was horrible and I have been in service roles professionally for 25 years considering this how I pay the bills at home I am pretty good judge guys. In the end if you want tires and you like less than acceptable customer service shop here. I actually used Discount Tire in Dublin for my Subaru 6 months back and they had me in and out in 20 minutes and placed a bottle of water in hand while I waited awesome service prices fair. Another issue.. they made up the mileage on my service paperwork. Why? Why wouldn't they go check the mileage and put in the correct number? My car has 99,000 and they typed in 102,000. Is that even legal? What if I try to sell my car and my service records show a higher mileage than my vehicle? read more

Customer service was prompt, courteous, and kept me informed: what the process was, how much it would cost, what the time frame was, and the results which were shown to me in detail. WHEEL WORKS SAN RAMON: wife went to have tires rotated. ended up getting alignment even tho car is driving fine, does not veer at all. on top of that, the alignment was not done despite the fact that the first item on the receipt was tire rotation. how do i know tires were not rotated? front passenger tire has a portion that was sprayed with an armor-all type spray that i was testing. TIRE IS IN THE SAME PLACE. question now is "was alignment actually done, was it needed in the first place?" it seems that every time my wife brings the car over, some item need to be done. read more

Do yourself a favor and go to Costco. I only went to Wheel Works because Costco didn't have my tires in stock. At Wheel Works, I was charged a substantially higher price and had to wait 3 hours, despite a worker's claim that it would only take 1.5 hours. When I left, I drove to a nearby gas station to check the PSI of my tires. On this cold day, I found that the techs added nearly 7 more pounds than suggested by the owner's manual. read more

I had been to this location several times. Bought new set of tires two times, several wheel alignments, break pad changes, oil changes etc. I am happy with the work itself. Most of the customer service agents however are some what rude. This brings down the whole experience. Store management needs to look into this if they want to keep customers like me. read more

went to this store to buy a coolant and the salesman tricked me in to buying a store credit card with out my knowing, he could have more honest with me for the delay but instead he lied to me, I ended up a hard query on my credit report , he made me wait for 45 min just to process the payment for the coolant, his name I think is daminder or dave I don't remember, this kind of activities will ruin the credibility of the store , will never go to this store again, I have a wheels to be replaced but will never go here again. read more

The employees seem nice and eager to help but with that being said they did a horrible job aligning my 2000 Silverado and when I brought it back to tell them the truck was having issues they suggested replacing my tie rods and ball joints to eliminate the problem(they told me this once I brought it back which I don't understand why they didn't tell me that the first time I came if it appeared they needed to be replaced)Once I replaced the parts the truck still ran terrible and was definitely unsafe to drive. I had a blow out on the freeway because of drastic inner tire wear. Then I purchased 2 new tires and returned it to them and they still can't fix my alignment. On top of everything I left the truck for them to test drive and ever since then my engine has been making a unfamiliar noise. Overall I wasted a lot of time and money not to mention my safety was jeopardized so I plan on complaining to the better business bureau. Don't make the mistake of going here I suggest Goodyear tire and brake service in Dublin they are more reasonably priced and go the extra mile to inspect your vehicle the first time so you don't have to keep bringing it back. read more

First off i will never do buisness with them again! i brought my car in to get new tires put on, and they told me two of my rims had cracks in them. they couldnt find anyone to repair the rims so i had to find someone myself then i had to pick up the rims and drop them off to get fixed then bring them back once they were fixed. Then finally once i got my car back i noticed that my rear left side skirt was broken becuase the clip the was holding it was broken and it was right next to the wheel well. i told them that they broke it and they said that they couldnt say that they did it or that they didnt do it. i told them to get it fixed and they said they didnt do it after i told them to get it fixed. it was obviously their fault and they didnt want to pay for it. they ended up only paying for half of it. this is the second time i have had a bad expierence with them will never go back again! read more

These guys are crooks. Had issue with shaking and took to them for balance and alignment. After getting the car back and paying them in full, the problem was still there so I took back to dealer to diagnose. Turns out the problem was in fact a tire balance issue because I recently used some fix-a-flat. The dealer mentioned it should have been easily caught.if it had actually been balanced. When I called back to these clowns to confront them with the findings, they had to nerve to say I should have told them about the fix-a-flat and it was somehow my fault for the oversight. Then they pretending to make it right by subtracting the cost of 1 tire balance and recommending replacement of 2 new tire. Obviously, after all this lost time and cost, I said never again and just had the dealer make it right. I have to admit they were friendly but so are used car salesman. The thing they have in common is they know how to sell cars but don't know how to fix. read more

I brought my car in this past Sunday. I made an appointment a week in advance, and the appointment was for 1:00p.m. I arrived at 12:45p.m. for the oil change and complete inspection. Based upon what the inspection revealed, I was planning on making a future appointment for the work to be done. I sat down in the waiting room at 1:00p.m. At 1:45 - no word; at 2:15 - no word. At 2:45 - no word. Finally at 3:15 I went to see where my car was and low and behold it was still parked where I left it at 12:45p.m. They were not overly busy this day - only two other customers did I see during this wait time so it would be considered on the slow side. I spoke to an employee (he said he was the Manager) and he said they were behind because they were short two technicians. Hey people.....COMMUNICATE with your customers!!!! Don't let a customer sit there for 2.5 hours without a peep from you that there is a delay. Very unprofessional, and I will not go there again. read more
