We put in a mobile order and waited for 30 minutes to go pick up our food... And when we arrived, there was nobody at the countertop they were both in the back. It took five minutes for them to physically come out from the back. They did not know how to actually look at the mobile order. Nobody had started to make the sandwiches. Your wich is then delivered to you on the same bag, thus reducing waste. My wich was expertly prepared with amazing delectable wheat bread with just the right amount of crunch (can get a bit messy). Loaded up with avocado, mushrooms, and spinach, and served hot. All of their wiches are served warm or hot. Just walked out of this Which Wich location. I am a long-time customer, and I come very often-2 to 3 times a week on average. The lady I spoke to claimed to be the manager, and refused to give her name to me. When I walked did the counter with my envelope, I asked them if they were aware that their phone doesn't work. Her response was "Oh, it works, we were just in the back". " No, it's not working. I called--" This is where she interrupted me the first time, and said "It works fine, we just can't hear it when we are in the back." I replied "No, I called three times---" This is where she cut me off AGAIN. " The phone works - when did you call--" I then interrupted her to say "Would you listen to me?!" She then replied with " you don't have to be so rude about it." HILARIOUS, since she had cut me off twice, and did not seem to understand the concept of speaking with a customer who's bringing their business to her store. I then replied " do I need to talk to your manager?" Her response was "I AM the manager!" When I said that I will contact the owner then, and suggested that a lot of people would be happy to have the job that she seemed so irritated with, she turned away and began ranting; I heard some thing about how not every customer is right, etc. tried to get her photo, but she hit her face. It's silly how people think they can't be identified easily, and that their employer I won't know exactly who they are. I agree with her - not every customer is right. However, her treatment of me was so bad, I was flabbergasted. I simply walked in, attempted to be helpful to them and let them know about their phone system, and she was immediately impatient, consistently interrupting and raising her voice. I have taken this to corporate, and Will be following up until I know specific steps have been taken. I am very tenacious, and don't let things like this go. It is shocking how little people understand where their paycheck comes from, and how willing they are to throw it away so quickly. If I had been a rude customer, and mistreated her, she would have been right in her frustration, but still wrong in her response. If anything, the staff was domineering and aggressive, especially the tattoo-face guy that handed me the sandwich. "Thanks very much," I said in a chipper tone. FaceTats responded with silent sneering from behind his ink-clad eye sockets and brow ridge. It was like being served by Malcolm McDowell's clockwork orange character right before the conditioning wears off and the ultra violence springs back up. My adult son tried to order a sandwhich and for the bread thought he was choosing a custom bread but turned out it was a bowl saying it was listed with the bread and the slip was not clear but no one was around to help as they all went behind a wall coming back a while later to ask if we were ready. He also indicated no tomato. We paid $11 for a small side salad with wilted lettuce and tomato. We could not see what they were making and only discovered the issue when they put it on a ledge for us to take. We will never go back. read more
