The concept of grabbing a bag and checking everything that you want is good. It's a competitive edge from Subway. With that said it's also better to go to Subway and see the fresh ingredients being put on your sandwich. Ordered the R&D for the month which was a Ruben. Ordered it with coleslaw instead of sauerkraut. It was quite good. The bread was marbled and fresh, the sandwich warm with just enough corned beef. BF had the Italian grinder on white french roll. Again, just enough meat and ingredients to satisfy. The only options to accompany your sandwich are chips. Boy, if this place really wants to set itself apart they should offer macaroni and potato salad. Chips are so boring. I may have come at the wrong time. The servers were not smiling and certainly did not offer a friendly inviting atmosphere. They were more interested in their chatting amongst themselves and laughing at each other. Their sandwiches are amazing and they have a lot of ingredients and items that you won't find at other sandwich shops. I love the concept or how you write down your order on the bag. The staff is quite friendly and attentive, however they can be slow. Also, most of the stores are very small and I wish they would add more seating. Good subs which can be ordered hot or cold. The quality of the sandwich unfortunately depends on what staff is working because sometimes the sandwich is better than other times. I was disappointed to see that the cheez wiz was taken off the menu since that was the main reason I liked this place over Jersey Mikes. The quality of meats are better than any Subway or Quiznos but not sure if it's better than Jersey Mikes or Jimmy Johns. First time here and I was a little overwhelmed with the ordering process. However after receiving my chicken pesto sandwich I was very pleased. Better than Quiznos and subway combined. The small was big enough that I only ate one half and saved the other for later. The flavors were great, bread was soft and they didn't skimp on the ingredients. My bf got a roast beef and wasn't as thrilled but he likes his stuff plain so it's his fault for not selecting a better flavor combination. I placed my order through Door Dash and let me say, this review is for this location ONLY. I have had great sandwiches from other locations. I ordered my usual (Thank you Turkey). Which is basically a Thanksgiving Turkey sandwich (Turkey, stuffing and cranberry). I paid almost 23.00 for a sandwich, chips and cookie. The sandwich came and there was NO CRANBERRY. How do you leave off a major ingredient? It was disgusting. Turkey and stuffing and MAYO? Yuck. I had to throw it away. So 23.00 bucks down the drain because some bozo was asleep on the job. Remembered today that I needed to review this place which then gave me a craving for it so I just dropped in for lunch. Before today, they probably would have gotten 4 stars, but I had to knock them down to 3 stars because my grub was less than stellar. First of all, this place is next to several other little take-out type places...I think there's a Rubio's, Jamba Juice, Starbucks, an Asian place, Dairy Queen, etc. There's a bunch of tables outside in front that all the restaurants share and several inside. When you walk in, to your right are all the little brown sandwich bags categorized in little cubbies by "genre"....chicken, turkey, classics, beef, vegetarian, etc. You have the option to have your sandwich on bread of your choice, as a salad, as a lettucewich (wrapped in lettuce), hot or cold and your choice of fixings. They also have some theme sandwiches (a Thanksgiving one, etc) that you can customize. I always get the small lettucewich which is actually pretty big, but easy to gobble down quick since there's no bread. Kinda pricey ($7+), but much better than Subway. The ingredients are always fresh and the sandwiches are well put-together. Couple things to note: The olive tapenade is SUPER salty The hummus is bland, don't bother with it Don't ask for salt and pepper because they will majorly overdo it, I imagine the same would apply for oil and vinegar Reason for the subtraction of a star is because today I ordered the club lettucewich (ham/turkey/bacon)...I told the guy no ham, just replace it with more turkey or whatever so he scratched out ham on my bag and circled something else. I added avocado which he also circled. Well he ended up charging me for EXTRA bacon and charging me for the avocado which is fine except there was no avocado to be found once I dug in. Boo...the last couple times I've been there they are super generous with the avocado which is part of the reason I loved this place. It's only one mistake, and I'm sure I'll be back, but lack of attention to detail doesn't earn a place 4 stars. First time here! I got a 7in double turkey with avacado sandwhich. It was delicious! The bread taste better then subway. But i don't see there bread holding up too well in an over stuffed sandwhich. They have a good kids menu. My picky son actually ate the pizza sandwich and loved it. I will definitely be coming back. I would choose which wich over subway every time now. Came here for a quick lunch, haven't been to a Which Wich in a while, but remembered I thought it was pretty expensive for what it was, and I was reminded why during this visit. I like to eat, which means I don't want to order the small 7" sandwich, but even that is $6.00, which wouldn't be too bad if you are a happy camper after a 7" sandwich, but I am not. I want more! I thought it was interesting that their large size, 14" is $12.00, exactly double the price of the 7". So you really don't benefit cost-wise ordering more. If you wanted 2 try 2 different types of sandwiches, you could just order 2 different 7" sandwiches! Anyway, I probably wouldn't vote to come back again, unless their prices went down for some reason. But if other friends wanted to come here, I would not go as far as to say no. read more

This place is decently priced. A seven inch starts at $6 or so and it goes up from there. I like it for the way you get to order from a bag. I think it's easier for the people making your sandwich to get it correct. Also, they offer so many different ingredients you can put into your sandwich as opposed to places like subway. Wait time for your sandwich is fairly quick. I can't say how long it would be during peak hours (I always take my lunch later than that), but anything after 2pm seems to be fast. The staff keeps the place fairly clean, however, expect it to be a bit messy during lunch time because there's only so much they can do at one time. Overall, I'd give this place 4 stars for it's speed, cleanliness, and quality/options ingredients. read more

As an eternal tourist in this world, I have to try a lot of different things... though the actual reason why I went here was since I had a coupon for a free drink. The way that this place works is that one takes a bag out of the appropriate bag holder and marks the appropriate selections with a provided marker to receive the specified ingredients, including mushrooms, spinach, and other stuff like that. One can receive their sandwich in a bowl, but it doesn't come with bread. Since there was no information indicating what was included in one, I ended up ordering a bowl that was only at about 75% capacity. Anyway, the experience is very lacking in information as to what one is supposed to do in this location (the only reason I actually knew what to do was because a family member had told me the basics in advance) in addition to what selections on the bag result in what the end product looks like (some more pictures on the wall would be nice, especially for the bowls). I feel like I still have insufficient information to order something that's meaningful and worth it, and I'm too anxious to try again alone, so next time I'll bring someone that's familiar with build-it-yourself food and have them do it for me. read more

Old review below. Happy to say they truly have vegan bean burgers now. Updates my rating from 1 to 5 I hate to do this review because I was a big fan. When they first opened which Wich I was told by several of the employees that the black bean burger was vegan. I went a couple times a week because it was certainly delicious the way I put it together. Then I found the scandal that they indeed had egg in them and were pulled from their menu. Fast forward about a year and a half, I went back to get just a plant-based Wich with veggies only. Just for curiosity I asked the checkout guy if they ever resolved their vegetarian/vegan issue with the black bean burger but he didn't know anything about it. A gal that worked there said she was aware of the issue and assures me that they finally have a vegan black bean burger. I asked if she was positive it didn't have egg and milk in it and she said she was, it was a new burger and completely vegan. Another employee chimed in and agreed with her. We ordered the Wich and enjoyed it as usual. Today I went to their website and looked at the ingredients list and lo and behold, egg and milk. Now I know I won't die from this and have no food allergies, but I choose plant based eating for health reasons and trust the employees that they know their stuff. Because of this I give a 2 star review. Explain the difference between vegan and vegetarian to your employees. read more

We first ate at this location the week it opened about 5 years ago. The Owner said they were opening a location in Ladera Ranch which is where we lived so we went there. We get back to the Tustin store about every 3 months since moving to Anaheim Hills. Today at noon the line was out the door but having the great staff inside, our wait was only about 10 minutes and it was well worth it. We had the Ultimate B,L,T and avocado FAVORITE and it was wonderful. The Owner himself, greeted each customer at the counter with a very pleasant personality. The sandwich was great. Can't wait to get back to this location soon. read more
