I'd heard several things about White Castle, and as a west coast native I had to try it. We went to a drive thru only location, which was fine and ordered all of their desserts and a pack of ten sliders. Our order was filled quickly and accurately. Once we got the food home we were able to see what White Castle was all about. The food was actually not as bad as some people had said it was. The flavor of the sliders was comparable to a mc Donald's basic cheeseburger. The onion rings were pretty good and their deserts, which were less than $2 each, were surprisingly good. Overall White Castle did not disappoint. It wasn't amazing, but for what it was I was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again. read more

When you're craving a White Castle burger nothing will quench that feeling. I put it off maybe a few days but I always find myself there. There honestly is nothing like it. The soft bun that melts into the burger. The onions. The cheese. Omg I'm salivating right now. May have to jump in the car and get a few burgers. This one for some reason is the best. Maybe it's because I take the food and go sit at the cemetery to "talk" to my parents but this one is always fresh and delicious. I'll go out of my way to come here from West Islip. My puppy loves the French fries as do I and the onion rings are possibly the best I've ever had. Like I said this place hits that spot. I don't often visit White Castle but it's quite enjoyable from time to time. It has a certain mystique about it that you crave every now and then. All I can say is......HOLY SH!T! Their prices have far exceeded the cheap, affordable meal they used to be. I could have gone to a diner, sat down, gotten served and left a tip for about the same price. Having said that, they do offer some fairly decent deals on their app (which fortunately, I took advantage of). The team member who helped me was pleasant and I found it really easy to pull in and out of the parking lot. Just cannot understand how a person cannot get an order straight. All I ordered was five hamburgers and a order of onion rings and extra ketchup on the side I left with my package with no extra ketchup. This was my 2nd time at this location in the last 10 years as I'm not from the area. My 1st experience was just shy of magical, hence the return trip a decade later. Very pleased with my set of double cheese sliders this time around. The service was right on point as well. This location has successfully prepared my food fast, hot, & fresh and without any attitude for the last month. The only type of attitude received here has been nothing but smiles and courtesy. Thank you. I curse the White Castle newspaper coupons! Even though I love to see them, I know I'm going to be walking and exercising to get rid of the xtra White Castle crave calories. Living on the West Coast has it's flaws, the biggest one is that there are NO White Castles anywhere to be found except at the frozen section of your local grocery store. I remember watching Saturday Night Fever as a kid, one scene with Travolta and his group ending up at a White Castle late at night, one of his fool friends jumped on the table, started barking like a dog and stuffing his face with sliders... that cracked me up and was a memorable moment of the movie for me!.... a later movie, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle is another fav! This particular one is only a drive through, a slight disappointment but we were pressed for time anyway, so we ordered about 30 cheeseburgers (sliders), 6 chicken sandwiches, chicken rings, fries and some onion rings.....can you just picture all that grease!? THIEVES!!! We ordered and paid online. When i sent my friend over to pick it up they made him pay again. So he paid again thinking it wasn't paid for. When they told me they had to pay again, my friend stayed there while I called and spoke to the manager, who was yelling at me and hung up and blocked me. She had told me that there is no way to even refund. I sent the copy of the receipt showing it was already paid for online and still nothing. She cursed me out, hung up on me and blocked my number. I called back from another number and she said it was too bad. Then my friend asked them and they said the Franchise Manager will call us, which no one ever called us!
