Still a nice cozy interior with gorgeous views (big win if you're there when the water ski team is practicing - great entertainment!). Service was great, polite and timely! The star of the menu is the pizza - the "thinny thin" had a great Barstool Pizza rating and I see why! SUPER thin and crispy pizza with great cheese all the way to the edge. Also had the risotto and penne vodka and while good, the pizza is for sure what you should go for. Will definitely return!

They say if something is available at 7:30 outside you can have the seat. We arrived 30 minutes early to hopefully sit outside. Reality: they sat us inside at a small table next to the wait staff area entrance. I had my back to the lake so I didn't see anything but waiters and waitresses bringing dirty dishes into the kitchen area. We waited 15 minutes before our waiter came to our table. We ordered Cesar salad for 2 and a large thinny thin (half plain, half pepperoni). We never received bread and butter while all other tables did. I tried to ask our waiter or any but they wouldn't make eye contact (all busy). Our waiter nowhere to be seen. We received the pizza. We did not receive the salad. When our waiter finally showed up again, we told him to cancel the Cesar salad. Which they did. He was apologetic but the dinner was ruined. Crappy experience. Angeloni's service in Caldwell was much better. Pizza was great though. 0 stars for service, ambiance, salad and bread&butter. 5 stars for the pizza.

Delicious and perfect drinking temperature. We share the calamari which was very good but not very big. She had the fried chicken sandwich which was also very good but slightly spicy (which was not mentioned in the description). Fries were good as well. I had a burger with blue cheese and asked for medium rare. It was medium but I was okay with that. Rather than fries I chose a side salad which was fresh. Overall the food is good. For the price of each item, they could have added a slice of tomato, onion and a larger slice of deli pickle. The beef patty could also be larger. The chicken sandwich had 2 slices of pepper jack cheese which weren't melted. The restaurant could improve the presentation and quantity (value). All a bit lacking for this type of restaurant. Service was very good. Promptly seated. Wait time for drinks and food average. Ambiance - Outside under an umbrella was very nice.

We were seated quickly and Anthony, our server, stopped by right away with menus, a bottle of water and glasses, and a tray of bread, olive oil, olives, and cheese. We hoovered up everything that he'd brought to us- the bread was fantastic. I mean- wow.... seriously good bread! We both ordered a pasta dish, I got linguine with bolognese sauce, my wife ordered a seafood penne dish. She had originally opted for the lobster mac and cheese- but they were sold out... :-( Being from Queens and transplanted to NJ as a kid, I'm very pasta savvy. The linguine was perfectly cooked- just a little bite. The Bolognese sauce was also on-point. So many NJ pizzerias think that mashing up a meatball and adding it to a ladle of sauce is ok.... This was the real deal. Both plates had huge portions, as well. We were both slightly disappointed- no bread, no spoon, no cheese. Anthony made his way back to the table and rectified those issues. More of that fabulous bread, ha ha! Look- I can absolutely say that i'll be back. Food was good... Place was nice...

The ambiance was very relaxed and the service was quick and helpful. Our order were specialty slices of chicken/shredded spinach/cheese/balsamic glaze and a Chicken Francaise slice. Both slices were DELICIOUS, at the perfect temperature, and the slices were large. The chicken slice had a crunchy underside and I haven't had too many pizza slices this good. If you're in the Sparta area, do not hesitate to enjoy a meal at Pizza One. If that's too out of the way, there are other locations in Wayne, NJ, and in Scarsdale, NY.

We walked in as tourists, not knowing what to expect, and within minutes we felt like we'd been coming here for years. That kind of genuine, welcoming energy is rare. The staff didn't just serve us they took care of us. Friendly, attentive, and effortlessly warm in a way that made the whole experience feel personal. The space itself? Think cozy, charming, and just the right amount of rustic. It's the kind of place where everything from the decor to the lighting makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy your meal. And speaking of the food... WOW. The short rib home fries were absolutely next level. Rich, flavorful, perfectly cooked every bite hit. Comfort food, but elevated. The kind of dish you think about later in the day... and then again the next day. The coffee was just as impressive smooth, fresh, and exactly what you need to complete a perfect brunch moment. What stood out the most though? The feeling. Being away from home but treated like a local... that's something special. If you want amazing food, cozy vibes, and service that genuinely makes your day better this is your spot. We didn't just find a place to eat... we found a place we'd come back to again and again.
