The place looks and feels exactly like you'd expect from a classic diner, simple, casual, and comfortable. It was clean, which I always appreciate. The only small quirk was that our booth table sat a little off-center, so we had to do a quick adjustment, but no big deal. Service: Our server looked like he might've just started, honestly, he couldn't have been more than 12 (lol). You could tell he was new and nervous, but very polite and trying hard. When I ordered the breakfast croissant, he quickly said they were out, and another server jumped in to help clarify part of my friend's order. Despite the small hiccups, everything was handled kindly, and he was genuinely nice. Food & Drinks: I went with the Breakfast Burrito, and it was good -- nothing to write home about, but solid. The scrambled eggs were super fluffy, which stood out, and the salsa had good flavor. My friend ordered the Cowboy Eggs (two eggs over crispy tortillas with refried beans, cheese, and avocado). He felt the same -- decent, but standard. He also mentioned his coffee wasn't hot -- more "end-of-day warm," lol -- which fit the late-afternoon timing. On the drive back, he said something didn't sit quite right afterward, which was unusual for him. Maybe there was a mix up in shipping mismarked fish to CB or maybe the staff at this CB truly doesn't know the difference. It was disappointing. The other three meals were very good. The staff we dealt with were all very friendly. As a note; after returning home to Ocala FL, our companion dined at our local CB and she showed these photos of the CB "cod" to to a seasoned server and was told that was not cod, it was catfish and their cod here is battered, not coated in cornmeal as the photo appears to indicate.
