I called and made an appointment, gave them my credit card number and paid for the service ahead of time. They sent me a prep sheet for our flea treatment which was extensive, but necessary. We did everything that was asked. (Picture attached.) NOTE: When you have the treatment done, you family & your animals must leave the house and can't return for 4 hours after the technician leaves.) The following morning, no one showed up. Once I waited 30 minutes, I called to find out where the technician was. I was told my appointment time is at 3:00, so I asked what happened since I was told 9:00am. The person I spoke with said, "oh, I see that. In the comments section, it says 9:00-11:00. The person who scheduled your appointment scheduled it from 3:00 - 5:00, but he must not know how to schedule appointments bc you can't write a different time in the comments. He set it at 3:00." Meanwhile, I am waiting for someone to arrive bc my house is prepped, I have been to the vet, my animals have been treated, and I have an appointment for 2 Great Danes and a sick cat at a pet boarder who closes at 5:00. In other words, I can't board my pets if a tech comes in the afternoon bc it won't be safe for them to return home. I'll save everyone the hassle of reading the remainder of the saga, but here is a bulleted list- *No one came at 3:00. *I called to find out where the technician was, and they told me they would have the tech call me. *He called at 4:30, and said he didn't know why they scheduled a flea treatment at 3 o'clock when he had 4 houses to get to before mine, and that he didn't have time to do a flea treatment. *He called when he was on his way and started asking me ?s about the preparation sheet I received. He asked if we had swept, vacuumed, mopped, done the yard work necessary, and bagged all of the bedding, clothing, & pillows. He continued the interrogation until he arrived. *He arrives and immediately starts pointing out problems. He points to a basket on the dining room table and asked me what it was and why it was there? He walks by the spare bedroom and says, "this room is not ready," and it only got worse from there. *He is there for an hour and My nerves were frazzled, but I could tell he would not leave until I agreed to 4 quarterly payments of $110.00 and goes on and on explaining why it is better than a 1 time fee. I agree to get him out of my house so I can unwind as I prepare to sleep with fleas. Again. *following morning - no one comes. No one can come today or tomorrow. *someone calls about my contract and says it will cost $550. I explain that I agreed to $430, so I am placed on hold. I go back and forth with the sales rep, upper management, and they even call the technician who tells them I lied. I could actually keep going, but suffice it to say that this Company should not be in existence and I am sitting here, 4 days after my initial phone call, I STILL HAVEN't received a flea removal treatment. read more

I have been with this company for a while, and typically have not had an issue or concern. Today, the tech had sprayed my entry way and then rang the door bell. And upon my opening the door the pest insecticide was carried into the door area by the wind and all over me. I was fanning away all of the spray containments, but I was still covered. The tech apologize and then shared to wash exposed area, I was a bit frustrated. This was an inconvenience to have to wash my arms and face, which did not bring relief. After speaking with the tech, he shared a shower may necessary, and the irritation may last up to 12 hours. I shared with Roderick, it would be beneficial to wait before spraying an entryway till after speaking with anyone opening their front door. I understand you cannot control the wind, however this would have been avoided if the spray came after talking with the homeowner. read more

It IS illegal to record conversations without the knowledge of the second party or without their consent. Educate yourself in basic knowledge. 2. Speaking to me as if I'm a dumbass then ignoring me for days and responding "it's literally right there" without proper explanation after a customer has expressed why they are upset is a jackass move. The AUDACITY to get offended and refusal to provide supervisor information because I finally had it with your lying ass and said "are you dumb?" just further proved your lack of professionalism. 4. After being called out on the lack of professionalism and refusal to provide supervisor information to respond "on your email" and that information not being there made you look even more incompetent. Educate yourself on how to be a decent human being and stop trying to bait and switch clients. Saying "it's on the service agreement" is NOT an answer to the question of "WHERE on the service agreement?" After fulfilling my contract in December 2024 I spoke with the customer service department stating i would not be moving forward with the service. I received notification today, January 28th, 2025 informing me that I had a service scheduled for the following day. Upon calling, the person in customer service was unaware and not appropriately trained to handle such matters. To my knowledge when I spoke to customer service in December the contract was fulfilled and paid in full. The company is now stating they require a 30 day notice. It is concerning and I would take caution before signing a contract. read more

Do not recommend. After speaking with them multiple times on the phone explaining my big big fear of spiders, they assured me they would take care of the problem 2 days later. Great!!! I called them Friday morning, they confirmed a tech was coming. When no tech came as of 4:15 pm, I called back and the rep told me the technician was at another house in the area but I was definitely on the schedule. NO SHOW! The excuse was that he ran out of daylight, so he'd come Monday. Another NO SHOW!!! Tech arrived late Tuesday but couldn't treat because of the dogs and area we needed to be treated. We told him we didn't want him to leave unless he was for sure coming back. He said he talked to his manager and guaranteed he'd be back in the morning while the dogs were gone all day, NO SHOW!!! This is the written statement I filed with the BBB, the FTC, and the Attorney General's office for the state of Texas. Generally, I don't go scorched earth, but this is on principle. Keep in mind, I did try to speak with the company MULTIPLE times before writing this statement. A saleswoman came to my door at the end of June, selling a pest control membership. Once I signed up, I was serviced three times before I severed the relationship. I had an initial spray, then they asked if I wanted to sign up for the mosquito servicing. The mosquitoes went up in my backyard rather than down, so I requested a respray. They did the respray, but none of the treatments worked. I saw more bugs after the treatments(for an extended period of time, not just the first two weeks they sprayed). also, during this time, my mom got sick (she had cancer and received chemo treatment) and so did my animals. I noticed that it was after the yard had been sprayed. I had been told this treatment was safe to be around and this was simply not the case. so on July 29th, I called to cancel and close out the account. after this, I was charged twice in August from this company. the charges amounted to over $508 dollars. I disputed these transactions with my credit card company, but the pest control company used the contract as reasoning for the charges. the company broke the contract first by not giving services as described(the bugs did not dissipate, they only increased), and they used chemicals that were harmful, which is NOT what I was told when I signed the contract. It has now been 3 1/2 months since I closed the account, I have responded to multiple emails restating what I wrote here, and the company has continued to harass me. I called and reviewed all of this information with them today, November the 12th, and I was told there was still an amount of $53.04 on the account, despite the fact that this company has received over $500 in charges from me. At this point, I'm shocked about the lack of ethics from this company. I closed the account months ago, they broke the contract first, and the response I am getting is that "they used product, so money is due". this was a SERVICE contract, and services were not provided as described. the amount of money I was charged was way more than anything these toxic products cost, or the 3 service visits I received. I am filing this complaint because this company is now threatening collections on a $53 charge, when I should be refunded every penny of the $508 I paid for services not being provided as described and because the chemicals were toxic that they used. when I mentioned the chemicals being toxic to my mother, the response from their billing department was "I'm just in billing but I do know these chemicals aren't toxic". this company is deceptive and does not give service as described. read more

White Knight Pest Control cares only about collecting money. An elderly family member who has dementia moved into an assisted living facility several months ago. Due to her cognitive impairment we have been trying to manage her finances and eliminate expenses that are no longer needed. In reviewing several months of financial records we noticed White Knight Pest Control has been charging a monthly fee to said family member. When this came to our attention, we contacted WKPC to ask for services to be discontinued and we explained that the customer no longer needed their services because she moved into an assisted living facility and no longer lives at the service address. WKPC expressed zero compassion for the circumstances our family member is experiencing, they instead were solely interested in enforcing the terms of the agreement and threatened to continue to charge monthly service fees regardless that the address is no longer occupied. It is unfortunate that WKPC cares more about money than they do about the needs of their customers. The best way to avoid running into issues like this is to not do business with White Knight Pest Control. This company is terrible. After one of their representatives came to our door to solicit business we agreed to a 1 year contract at $ 117.99 a month to treat pests in doors and out with bi-monthly treatments for multiple pests. They took their first payment 05/20/2024. At first the company would call to confirm appointments for the technician to come out then that changed to only texts. Sometimes they would call a few days before the appointment. A few times we had to ask the company to reschedule because we would not be home but we were told that we would get an extra charge for the technician having to come out a different day. So they wanted us to keep the appointment and leave our gates open for the tech or we would be charged extra for the tech not being able to access the yard. Not once did the tech treat inside our home. Even when we had an infestation of ants the tech only baited outside our home. They tried charging us extra for sending out a termite tech for a termite inspection without telling us and then counted it as one of our regular scheduled appointments. We only found out about our last treatment because we called to tell them we did not want to renew our contract. We called last month which was our 11th month and told them we did not want to renew our contract after the 12th month. The representative tried telling us we still had more payments left and one more service so we couldn't cancel. Which we asked her when was a good time to call before our contract was done to not renew it. We were told after the last service so we called again after what we were told was the last service to let them know we did not want to renew our contract. Again they tried saying we had not made all the payments even though our bank account showed twelve transactions with White Knight Pest Control. They charged us 1 month of $107.17, 10 months of $117.99 plus a 12th payment of $235.98. They have not explained to us why we were charged the extra $235.98. $117.99 x 12 = $1415.88.
