Bacon and Egg Sandwich
Kennan K.

Quaint old building, turned bakery and cafe. They have some delicious offerings in the baked goods section We went with one of their homemade whoopie pies and a couple of breakfast sandwiches! Stop by on the way to the flower fields, you won't be disappointed! Friendly faces and service with a smile!

Loved the variety of gluten free treats. They are delicious and if you didn't tell me they were GF I would never have known. They make it just right. Squishy, soft, fresh and moist... yep I said it! No dry muffins here. They have sandwiches, quiche, pastries and coffee. This cozy lil shop has a few tables and comfy chairs to indulge in great conversation and grab a snack. Worth the stop. There is a small parking area in front.

Stopped here looking for some breakfast after an early visit to the sunflower fields. I arrived about 15 minutes after they opened but it was already packed! The inside is very cozy and welcoming. I ordered some cinnamon rolls, peach cobbler scones, and pineapple coconut coffee cake to take home. Everything was delicious, but hands down the cinnamon rolls were the best ones I've ever had. Just perfect. I'll come back again to try some more items and the coffee drinks.

Lovely building

Delicious bakery and deli that happens to mostly serve GF food. Super coffee and heirloom teas. Kind people serving baking and all ages welcomed. Highlight of our family trip to Aurora and OR. Will be back!

White Rabbit is one of my favorite places to go in the Willamette Valley. They are a delightful place and lunch is served all day, so if you need a sandwich for later they've got you covered. Their sandwiches are next level. Gluten free and gluten full options - SO GOOD! The things they do to their focaccia... Their baked goods are on point and their coffee is superb. And their quiche?! The best! Staff is welcoming and patient. Atmosphere is cozy, relaxed, but somehow still elegant-ish? It's not like it's a quirky coffee shop but it kind of is... but somehow still feels on the posh side.

If you are near the area you should come here :) it is an small really cozy place! Attention is great, decoration is very vintage, the focaccia that they use for the sandwiches is to die for

We were visiting a friend and they recommended trying White Rabbit. Such a cute bakery in Aurora! We stopped by twice during the weekend - breakfast and lunch! Coffee is tasty, I ordered a hazelnut iced coffee. For breakfast I had the Pickled Pepper. I really enjoyed it. The lunch sandwich I wasn't too crazy about. Too much bread and no wow factor to it. The staff is helpful and friendly. I would go back for Pickled Pepper for sure!

Nice little bakery in a quaint town. We stopped in for lunch before hitting the antique stores. We had the turkey cranberry and apple Gouda sandwiches. They come on warm focaccia with a side of chips & pickle. We both enjoyed our sandwiches. The staff was friendly and our order was served pretty quickly. Forgot to take pix of the sandwiches, but we did get some cookies for the road!

Great sandwiches and muffins. Great place to stop while out antiquing. The Marion berry and sour cream muffins are particularly good.

The interior is very cute - there was a red checkered tablecloth on our table. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. When we ordered the espresso martini and mentioned we only wanted one to share, she came back with it split into two mini glasses! We've never had that happen before. The french toast was really good, esp. with the lemon curd. I was scraping every last bit of it into my mouth. I'd love to try other menu items next time!

We had a 10:45 reservation but ended up waiting outside on the sidewalk for over 40 minutes. We got a couple of "it'll be soon" updates and one offer to sit at a picnic table on the sidewalk. That wasn't an option for my husband's back. And, by that point, it felt like we'd already had the full sidewalk experience! To add to the frustration, we watched a table that would have fit our party turn over and be given to a group that had arrived well after us. Once seated, things didn't improve much. Our daughter has celiac disease, and after talking through options with our server, she ordered a modified breakfast plate. When it arrived, it had two slices of (gluten-full) toast placed right in the middle. We asked for a remake. While we were waiting someone came over to tell us (firmly) that the kitchen isn't dedicated gluten-free. We fully get that, but that's different from putting bread on top of everything on the plate, especially after we'd already discussed the restriction. As I was saying that, the staff member walked away. The interaction felt more like a lecture than the apology that would've been appropriate. The food overall was okay, but not memorable. My husband said the "special" Bloody Mary was the worst he's ever had--memorable, just not in a good way. On the positive side, the gluten-free coffee cake was excellent, and thankfully the company made the day worthwhile. My guess is there may have been an issue with our reservation. We made it in person previously and it was written in a notebook. When we called to confirm the day before, they initially couldn't find it. It felt like it might not have made it into the system, and they were trying to accommodate on the fly once they realized it. If that's the case, a little transparency upfront would have gone a long way--we would have appreciated the option to adjust our plans rather than end up waiting outside for so long. Overall, this felt like a series of misses and mishandled opportunities to improve the experience. It's also an excellent reminder of why I normally steer clear of dining out on holidays.

The smallish parking lot was almost full when I arrived a little after 2pm, but most people were shopping for shortbread in the shop section. They have an impressive range of different types and flavors of shortbread on offer here. Reservations are required for afternoon tea, and I would recommend calling as opposed to filling out the email form on the website. I walked in to the cozy tearoom and was quickly seated. The room was cozy and the table set with items from Britain. Additionally, they had nice holiday decorations out, which lent a festive air. Service was very friendly, and we never felt neglected, even when the shop was busy. While I waited for my tea companions, I perused the tea selection. Lots of options, from fruity herbals to traditional black teas. My family soon arrived and our tea orders were taken. I went traditional in my selection of PG Tips (a British black tea blend). Each person received their own teapot, with cozy. The teapots stayed hot the entire time, which was nice. We had sugar cubes and milk to add if so desired. Everyone seemed happy with their tea selection, my niece even finished her teapot of blueberry tea. The tea tower of food came out soon after our teas. The sandwich/savory tier had both cucumber and roast beef sandwiches, along with sausage rolls. All were hearty and delicious, and the bread was soft and fresh, not dried out. A tangy mustard sauce complemented the sausage rolls nicely. Then there were three large scones, one plain and one cranberry. These were served with butter, strawberry jam and cream. The top tier consisted of fruit along with lemon curd, chocolate mousse and cream tarts, each with a shortbread base. All delicious and perfectly sized. Their was more than enough food for us, and I ended up taking quite a bit of the scones and savories home with me. The sweets were the biggest hits with my niece. After the tier was removed and boxed up, one more treat was served. It was a delicious combination of chocolate, whipped cream and a brownie base. It earned a thumbs up from my niece. I grabbed a couple shortbread treats for later on my way out. They were all rich and flavorful, as were the leftovers from the tea itself. This was a wonderful holiday treat, and a friendly and tasty introduction to afternoon tea for my niece. I will be back for some more shortbread and another afternoon tea with friends and family. Highly recommended.

You have the option of going to the red shed, the orchards, white house, restaurant, and/or golf course. My friend and I only went to the restaurant since it was a cold weekday. Service was quick and accommodating, granted we were the first patrons there. They were willing to make a bunch of substitutions without extra cost. And when my friend asked for extra half and half, she got a whole handful. Food wise, I was pretty pleased with my chicken fried steak. The meat was nice and thin, well coated, and fried just right. The gravy was well seasoned with a great consistency. The subbed green beans were buttery, full of garlic, and barely blistered. Overall I was pretty pleased with our experience. Food quality was good with reasonable pricing. I would like the try the brunch menu on the weekends and walk around the property come spring.

My parmesan crusted halibut was a little more dense than I would expect for that type of fish -- it was bright white, but was not flaky at all. The flavor was good, but it felt very heavy with the provided tartar sauce. The fries had great flavor, but they could have stayed in the fryer a little longer, as they were rather pale. The veggies were obviously frozen and reheated, and didn't have a lick of seasoning on them -- definitely needed salt & pepper. I ordered soup with my meal, and it didn't make it out before the main courses. Not a huge deal, as they just brought it out after I mentioned it. The soup was okay, but nothing special. The best part of the meal was dessert -- Dutch Apple Pie. It was just what an apple pie should be, with a nice flaky crust. I would definitely go back, but might try something other than seafood. Our experience was in the high 3-star range, but not quite a 4.
