If you are looking for a good brunch location, this is a good place to try out. We like a variety in our meals so we picked the hungry like a wolf. I picked the cheesy grits and no regrets there. It was perfect and didn't need to add anything to it. We tried their cinnamon bun. I thought it was kinda dry but my husband like it. He liked the French toast and will go back. The service was nice. It can get busy for brunch so plan ahead. The outdoor seating is comfy so that was nice. read more

An interesting restaurant to say the least. We met relatives for a late lunch. Turns out White Wolf was an antique shop many years ago and became a restaurant about 30 years ago. Chandeliers, old hanging lamps, all kinds of antique items to look at while enjoying some really good foods. Parking was very limited as we thought street parking was the only option. We found out during lunch that White Wolf has a parking lot down the street. When we walked in we were seated quickly. Our Server was pleasant and informative and had our drinks filled as fast as was possible. Big menu, great options. We had Black bean soup, chili, , Baton Rouge burger, salad, Roasted beet salad, White Wolf club. Our plates were clean when we finished. We also tried their cinnamon buns which they make on-site. Everything we ordered was very good. Rest rooms were down a short hallway. The were clean. On this day White Wolf Cafe did a great job, it's a winner. read more

The food is fantastic!! I love finding gluten free options for breakfast food. Specifically pancakes! I would highly recommend this spot for brunch. The wait can be long on the weekend but it's also pretty quick service! It's so cute inside. The lamps and art pieces make the place feel new every time you go in. read more

Go for the cinnamon rolls. That alone is enough to wait for a table and come back. We had a large party (10) on a Sunday morning. We called ahead to give them a heads up. Once arriving, we only waited about 15 minutes, they get very busy. We started with cinnamon rolls. Everyone in our party loved them. We ordered some to take home (great in the air fryer the next day) We had a mix of breakfast and lunch items, food came out quickly and there is lots to look at around the restaurant. Will be back for sure. read more

I can't even explain how good this place was! The food was amazing and the place was very nice and decorated. The service was good and everyone was very friendly, i had the seasonal cinnamon roll and i would recommend sharing because the portions are pretty good sized! Visited here today and was amazed! Everyone is so friendly. Emmy and Mandy at the bar are awesome. I got the infamous black bean soup. DELICIOUS! This was our third time to White Wolf Cafe. We went during brunch time on a Saturday. When I was not gluten free (non-Celiac), I absolutely loved their cinnamon rolls (as does my husband). My diet is a quite a bit more restricted now (low histamine which includes gluten free). The build-your-own options were my go-to's. I was excited to learn about their gluten free English muffins, buns, and pancakes. I ordered an omelette with decaf coffee and an English muffin. Since I didn't want a starch with my omelette, our waiter offered to replace the starch with another English muffin at no additional charge. The English muffins were so tasty, though I'd planned to save one for later, I ended up chowing down on both. The English muffins are Sysco's Baker's Choice brand. I wouldn't say they are the same texture as a true English muffin, but they seemed to be prepared with butter and had more of a moist, yet flaky texture. The women's restroom floor was not as I remembered--in much need or cleaning or replacing maybe? Otherwise though the ambience is one we always enjoy. read more

I have had this on my list for some time and am so glad that it lived up to my expectations! I arrived on a Monday around 10 am. I was able to secure street parking (which is sometimes difficult in this area). I was seated right away in a cozy booth near the front window. The restaurant is lovely on the inside. It is eclectic is a great way and gives you a warm feeling. There was a decent amount of options on the menu. I started out with the Florida Mule. It was great. It had strawberry vodka, OJ, and ginger beer. Definitely order! For food, I ordered "The Usual," which is more so a classic breakfast with eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, and a biscuit. Everything tasted very fresh and seasoned perfectly. I really liked the breakfast potatoes that had sweet potatoes in them, as well. I can't wait to come back and try out the dinner menu. read more

Went for brunch with the family. The host was honest/transparent about how long the wait was. We still sat down to wait for our orders to come out. The inside was so cute to look at though with all the antique lamps and art. For food I had the french toast (3), and it was kind of disappointing. The bread was on the border of stale and not crunchy with a little fluff that it usually is. I couldn't even eat the crust, it was kind of hard to eat. The savory dishes though were pretty good, the egg benedict, hashbrowns were good. Maybe next time i would just order the savory side of the menu. Got a double mimosa mango, for the price you can't beat it and it was good. Our waiter was really funny and attentive. As for my personal experience with the food .. considering that my cousin and I got french toast that was hard to kinda eat... i would have to come back to give this place another try. read more

ORLANDO, FL: White Wolf Café and Bar has been around for over 30 years serving up breakfast, lunch, and dinner! The bistro is named after Casper, a white German shepherd. The staff knew we were visiting from NJ and that we take Brie to dog friendly places. One of the owners came out to thank us for visiting and was very sincere in their appreciation. We recently celebrated my wife's birthday at the White Wolf Café. Kat was our server and she was so attentive and nice. We had Howlin' Poppers as an appetizer and Blackened halibut with brussels sprouts and rice pilaf for the entree. The Chef is absolutely excellent! Vincent and his team are doing some very exciting things and we would personally love to see the restaurant open every single night. It is a gem here in a town full of restaurants. The addition of live music is also very welcome. We couldn't be happier to support Lee as he and his family continue the legacy of this exceptional establishment. I've been here a few times. Their best dish is the country fried steak, which I usually get with a side of biscuits to dip in the gravy. The service could be hit or miss and the ambiance is great as well. The antique stores down the street is also fun to browse after breakfast read more

Cute cafe with a quirky interior design. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Food was not bad. They're really known for their signature delicious cinnamon roll and I will admit, it's pretty darn good. (And I'm not even a cinnamon roll fan) If you go to this cafe, definitely be ready to wait a little outside since it gets busy. Definitely order a cinnamon roll too. read more

This is my first time back for lunch after new management. Let's just say the quality is definitely not as good. I have referenced the old picture of what the chicken salad sandwich she used to look like (photo with the thick cuts and sweet potato fries), and todays there was even enough chicken salad to cover the entire croissant. The chips were not seasoned, I added pepper to them. It's a shame, it used to be so good, now I don't think I'll be going back. read more

I really enjoyed this place. Casual environment, pet friendly outside seating, quick service and good food. We came on a Sunday around 11am. There was a line outside, letting us know this place is popular, but the wait wasn't long. They kept calling names out, seating people and quickly attending each table. They had brunch, breakfast and lunch many available and there is a lot to choose from. We had our dog with us and got a table outside. Waters and silverware were brought out immediately and coffees weren't far behind. We all ordered and food didn't take long to come out either. I went with the "make your own omelet" . Choice of cheese and other ingredients like bacon, sausage, ham, mushrooms, onions, etc. This comes with potatoes, either homestyle, hash or grits, and form of bread (toast, biscuit...). I went with the homestyle potatoes and was pleasantly surprised when I saw it included sweet potatoes too. I do wish it had a bit more cheese on it, but just know now to ask for extra cheese next time. I did try the breakfast burger too and that was amazing. Sadly this place did not live up to the hype, will probably not be back. Let's start with the good: - The vibe is nice, very homey & cozy - The cinnamon roll was phenomenal - The burger was solid, not incredible but solidly good Now the bad: - The service was horrible. Our waitress was completely out of it only half paying attention to us even when she was taking our order. I literally ordered a Bloody Mary, she asked me single or double, and right after she goes "sorry you wanted a latte?" They also brought my boyfriend's burger without his side so we had to wait longer for that to come out. - the crab cake Benedict was so bad, everything about it. The hollandaise had no flavor at all, one of the eggs was overcooked and not runny, the avocado was so underripe that it was completely hard, the crab cake was simply not good, and the hash brow tasted like pure oil (the one at ihop is much better). read more

I'm writing this as a breakfast patron - I'm sure it's a whole different game later. We were in around 10 on a Saturday morning. It was busy, there was a birthday party, my partner and I were sat at the bar. My partner thinks our mistake was ordering water - I'm not sure that's relevant when I'm getting breakfast at a cafe. We had three servers and zero check ins; it was only after we'd gotten someone's attention and cashed out that my husband was offered a refill. My breakfast burger was good; meat tender, juicy, and cooked to my liking. My husbands country fried chicken was tough and the gravy didn't save it. French fries were disappointing and small portion. Love the causal vibe here. My baby wreaked havoc messing up the floor while trying to eat his biscuit like a barn animal and they were so cool about it. He gives the biscuit and cinnamon role a 10/10. He wouldn't touch the sausage and eggs, but that's a him problem. My crab cake Benedict was so good, the hollandaise sauce was just the right consistency and the crab cake had plenty of lump crab meat. My only suggestion is to make the hash browns crispier, but I should have specified. The shrimp and grits were tasty and creamy as well. I also give the cinnamon roll a 10/10, like my child. The drinks were awesome too. We will definitely be frequenting this place read more

White Wolf Cafe is a community staple - with its roots starting as an antique shop back in 1991, the ambiance pays homage to its beginnings. Tiffany lamps, antique art and paintings, this gem in the Lake Ivanhoe area is a must-try for locals! We started with their signature home-made cinnamon rolls! These are made fresh daily and are served warm. They're HUGE, and very sweet! Perfect for sharing. Their menu has what you would expect of any normal cafe - eggs, grits, hash browns and home fries, but I wanted to try something different so I went for the fried chicken dish. First of all - portions are giant! Good lord we could have shared this between three people! I will say I wasn't a super-fan of the fish. The chicken was tender but the breading was hard and over done. Wasn't a flaky/crjspy crust. But when you smothered it in the gravy it tasted good! Their home fries are essentially roasted potatoes with peppers and onions. I'm more of a fan of crispy potatoes so this was a miss for me. It also came with eggs and a biscuit which were basic, but good. No complaints. My boyfriend's burger was massive and he enjoyed it! We loved the sweet potato fries as well. The mimosas are $4 for a single and $8 for a double! Not a bad price. Overall I wasn't in loveeee with the food, but I'd be willing to come back and try something more standard here! read more

We went especially for the Saturday happy hour. First time in since new ownership and have to say that we were disappointed. Service was good but wine selection was not. Mimosas tasted . Wine by the glass was not interesting. Food was okay but nothing special. I had black bean soup which was good. Hubs had clam chowder that he said just tasted like bacon. It's no wonder it's impossible to get into this place on a weekends. The food and service is so good. White Wolf has become one of our favorite restaurants in Winter Park. Be sure to try the cinnamon bun. As for parking, get your steps and park in the paid lot a few blocks down. read more

Eclectic and antique atmosphere. I liked seeing all the little touches. The food was good. I had a the crab cakes and very much enjoyed them with the aioli. I wanted more aioli and they brought it out quickly - but it was cold, straight from the fridge and visibly different in color and texture from the aioli on my plate. It was also super salty. I didn't enjoy that. Sadly there was no bar tender so we did not get to try a drink. Service was fine and the wait was not too bad. Delicious! Classic old school diner feel. We sat outside on a Sunday morning for breakfast/brunch. It was amazing outside! The prices were good and the food was yummy. I can honestly say this was the best cinnamon roll I've ever had!! I loved the spicy Bloody Mary and their latte was great too! Had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and ham. The White Wolf Cafe in Orlando was a solid brunch pick for me. I dinned in and ordered a classic cinnamon roll and the Hungry Like a Wolf from their brunch menu and opted for sunny side up eggs, bacon, and French toast. I also added strawberries to my french toast for some extra sweetness that made it even better. Everything tastes fresh and the vibe was cozy and comforting. The eggs were cooked to perfection. the bacon was nice and crisp, and the French toast was soft with the perfect amount of sweetness. The cinnamon roll was a great addition and had been recommended to me by multiple people prior to coming. Our service was great and our waitress never let my drink run empty. Overall, it was a great filling meal, great price point, and a perfect brunch stop. I would love to come back again and try their other item menus. read more

Best breakfast spot! It's within walking distance of my place & we frequent it often. Food is homestyle and made with love! Their double mimosas are big. Staff are very friendly and kind. This restaurant offers a chill brunch/lunch. It's normally busy (especially on the weekends) but it is worth it. Brunch lover? This is your place! I'm typically not one who enjoys going out to brunch, but the White Wolf Cafe might have changed my mind. My party of 4 arrived at 9:30 on a weekday morning and were seated right away. For a starter, we ordered 2 cinnamon rolls for the table. Unless this is all you are eating, the cinnamon rolls are made for splitting. And wow, are they good! As my main meal, I ordered the omelet with Swiss cheese, mushrooms, and spinach. It was accompanied by a biscuit and home fries. Others in my party enjoyed dishes such as French toast, bacon, eggs, omelets, and more. Everyone enjoyed. This place was recommended to us by a waiter at another restaurant. We enjoyed the Hungry Like a Wolf breakfast. My husband is gluten free and he was in heaven that they had gluten free pancakes. Very cool setting with lots of antique lights from the ceiling. Staff were attentive and food was great. Highly recommend for brunch. read more

In August of 1991 the White Wolf Cafe was started as a dream. At the time, we could not have imagined that we would grow as we have. Through the steady patronage of our customers and the hard work of our wonderful staff, we have blossomed into the award winning cafe that we are. So many of our employees have added their personal touch to our business, through creative menu items, decorating ideas, or their personalities as well and we couldn't have done it without them. The White Wolf Cafe is located in Ivanhoe Village, a bohemian district on edges of Orlando. So stop by and experience the colorful artist community that blossoms in Orlando while enjoying great tasting, award winning food! The community has adopted us as one of it's own and we have grown into a one of a kind, homegrown destination for locals and tourists alike. It is safe to say we've earned a place in Orlando's heart. Two other Yelp Elites (Lorn C. and Mikhail C.) joined me and we were seated in a cute half booth at the window. It fit the three of us perfectly and our server, Teaya, always made sure the previous plates were cleared before bringing the next course. Teaya was friendly and efficient and gave us sufficient space to enjoy each other's company. We each started off with a drink, and I ordered the Le Charmel Pinot Noir, which was delicious. We then each ordered our three course selections to start the evening. There was no rush to finish our drinks or dinner, which was greatly appreciated. I enjoyed the following three courses. First, the Plant-based "Escargot" was a mixture of mushrooms, zucchini, plantain and black figs. I have been coming to the White Wolf cafe for 20 years. I eat here often and it is very very good. Consistent performance over the years has made this one of my favorite places to go in Orlando. They have a wide selection of menu items. Breakfast is excellent! $3.00 bloody Mary's and mimosas. The mimosas come in a huge variety of flavors, my favorite is the mango. I recommend that you order the doubles as the flutes are too mall for my nose to fit in. :) I usually have the "Mediterranean eggs Benedict, but today I was there for lunch and had the special which was delicious and a bargain at $12.00 with choice of soup or salad. This place has consistently improved over the years. While not perfect they do a pretty darn good job. The place is extremely interesting in that it is a "one of" not part of a chain. It is still owned and operated by the same person who began it, which in and of itself is a tremendous feat considering most restaurants don't make it period! Dinner is improving dramatically with the new chef Jason Schofield's vast experience and a gigantic talent. He and his crew are obviously working very hard at making the White Wolf Cafe a stellar choice when in Orlando. It is located in the heart of Orlando's funky side of town, very eclectic and lots of unique shops. You can make an afternoon of eating shopping and drinking. Did I mention that the White Wolf cafe has a full bar. They have jazz on Friday nights. I had just read an article by Orlando leisure and life who voted the area as the coolest side of town. There are several other bars nearby one is the Imperial which is so very very cool. There is also an alternative lifestyle bar called the Savoy just up the street from the White Wolf cafe. Also in the area is the Loch Haven park which has a 45 million dollar science center well worth checking out. The Orlando museum, the Manello museum of folk art. and the Shakespeare theater the Orlando repertory theater and the Theater Downtown are all just right around the corner. I kind of knew what I was getting into judging by the recent reviews... but I've heard good things and I wanted to come here anyway. Hubbie and I were trying to get to the Orlando Museum of Art afterwards, and wanted to get breakfast/brunch. We stopped by and they were busy, but we got seated outside right away. SLOW, and I mean SLOW service. Like the, "I know you could do better, but you're not" kind of slow. We were not drinking and thus not lollygagging like some brunchers, and that should have been obvious. Our waters were hardly refilled and in this heat wave, not very good. Finally our food arrived. My butter had a hair in it and hubbie's eggs were made wrong. Would we dare say anything? Not another 45 minute wait, please!!!!!!! Eventually were able to talk to our non-existent waitress and got check -- got out! I recommend that the owner has SEVERAL group meetings of staff to get SITUATED on brunch days! Imperative that they learn how to deal with high volume. It is not impossible. Even consider getting a consultant to come in and train your employees. If you have one waitress for all of outside, this wouldn't have happened, for example. If I was sitting at the bar, I would have had a helluvah good time, I could tell, but as an in-and-out meal person that day, definitely 2/5 stars. read more

We came in for brunch having stopped at their other restaurant for dinner. Having heard about brunch and the drink specials we made our way around 11am. First of all, poor experience at the door right off the bat! Angry manager yelling at the host, it wasn't until he turned around the we recognized him. He is the same $%% that screamed at a girl at the other place (Wolifes Pizzamia). Get a grip or get out of the restaurant business, at least if they messed up do it out of the publics eye! The decor was nice and had a good mix of old antiques, music was a bit loud but set a good vibe for the place. We waited in the open bar? next to them, It was an odley set up room and could tell it is not used much because of the stink/musty smell. The place was packed with an hour wait, we figured if everyone was waiting this long for food, it must be good. WRONG, messed up our order, food was cold and no manager in sight. Not even old yeller. We will NEVER be back here. This was not worth the $40 we spent! There are better choices in Orlando, this was on Orlando's Best Of......? Why? read more

Sigh! I was very excited to try this place out, sadly wasn't good at all. Only reason it didn't get 1 star is because service was good. I order eggs Benedict with steak. My eggs were way over cooked looked like a hard boil and my steak was barley mid rare. The server told me to change my order since he could see I was very unsatisfied. I changed my order and was told its begin rushed. Waited another 20 minutes while my friend was all finished with his chicken and waffles and a soda ($17 total 1 waffle and 1 chicken breast) I had to then cancel my order because I had to go back to work. My server said the food was ready and packed it for me to-go which I did not get charged for but did pay $4.50 for 1 glass of oj. I then come to work to find my eggs are scrambled light and with cheese. Note: I asked for my eggs dry and no cheese. I checked in on yelp which allows me to get a free beer or wine on my next visit, but I don't think I'll be visiting again free beer or not. read more

I had high hopes for White Wolf Café, but unfortunately, our recent visit was disappointing due to the poor service we received. Our server, Austin, was unprofessional and made the experience uncomfortable from the start. He was persistently pressuring us throughout the meal, which made it difficult to enjoy our time. On top of that, he responded to our questions and comments with sarcasm, which came off as rude and dismissive. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any hospitality setting, and it soured what could have been a pleasant dining experience. We expected a warm and welcoming environment but instead felt like we were being rushed and talked down to. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better training or oversight in the future. Until then, I can't recommend this location and will likely be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I am a frequent visitor to the White Wolf and have been for years. If you haven't been in a while, you should definitely go back as they've made huge changes over the last few years. The menu is much improved and has a lot of variety. There is definitely something for everyone. They now have a full bar and some excellent draft beers on tap. Another addition (very welcome in my book) is the brunch menu. I always get the Eggs Benedict White Wolf which is two perfectly poached eggs atop English muffins and each with a hunk of beautifully cooked filet mignon. I can't bring myself to order anything else now, it is sooo delicious. The mimosas of many flavors and the scrumptious homemade cinnamon buns are not to be missed. read more

Stopped in here for brunch with the girls today. I had the crispy chicken sandwich and a Bloody Mary. I loved my sandwich, the chicken was juicy and flavorful and the breading was so crispy. The bloody Mary had a yummy spicy rim which I really enjoyed. I love the eclectic vibe inside. The manager (or owner, not sure which) came over to our table several times and was incredibly nice, making sure we felt at home and everything was tasting good. But I feel like it's got that "we mean for it to be like this" vibe.
