I was not late. They had two other people in the waiting room and were taking walk-ins. She confirmed the next patient with .y same procedure was not due for another hour and 20 minutes, mind you my scan would take no more than half an hour. She (receptionist) went back and forth with me on how busy they were for 40 minutes and when I offered to wait for other patients to be seen she came back and stated that unfortunately I had not provided my medical records the technician needed? All a ploy to continue to refuse service. Parking is horrible, facility is lumped together with urgent care and other lab place and looks crusty!

I was very anxious about going to UMI based on the extremely low ratings-- ones and twos. But I…read moreneeded a test quickly, and all other sources would take weeks. So with trepidation, I went. I was delightfully surprised. I arrived an hour early, and when I arrived, the waiting room was busy, but I was able to sign in within five minutes. The attendants at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. I was prepared for a long wait, but I was called about 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. The technicians were also friendly and warm, taking the time to explain the process and help make me comfortable. The level of attention was better than I received at centers in Irvine. The test was easy and painless, and they got me in and out in a fraction of the time I expected to be waiting. The only reason I couldn't give them a five is that the facility (compared to Irvine) was old. One of the bathrooms had a door handle that couldn't be locked, and a sign on the mirror said the sink was out of order; use the hand sanitizer. Facility aside, the service was very good, and I would return if I had to again.
