I had some time at the end of my day to swing by Chepachet to finally try Who Cut The Cheesecake. The RI FOOD FIGHTS #bestscoopshopri coupon brought me in, but they were already on my radar as a cheesecake lover. The inside was cute, wooden walls that reminded me of a cabin, even though they were in a small strip of stores. It had a cozy feel to it. They not only offer cheesecakes and ice cream, but coffee, cake pops and other treats. I got there not long before close, so I did my best to get in and out quickly. The woman who helped me was kind and friendly. I got a few cheesecakes to go with my ice cream and then got in my car to head home. I ate the ice cream on the way. I chose strawberry. It was a solid strawberry ice cream. Good flavor, decent texture. When I got to my kitchen, I took a bite of each of the cheesecakes I got, because I NEEDED to know what they tasted like. Mango Tango, Key Lime and Lemon Blueberry (can you tell I like fruity flavors?) The cheesecake itself was thick and creamy but not too rich. Each of the flavors came through. The mango was tangy, the key lime refreshing, and the lemon blueberry delightful. I'll be snacking on those bit by bit this week. The crust was standard graham cracker, firm texture but your fork will still cut through it easily. The paper that wraps the minis lays flat if you open it up, making it like a built in plate! The shop sits at the edge of a small shopping area in Chepachet. If you like antiques, trinket or gift shopping, that's a great address for that, then you can swing by Who Cut The Cheesecake after for some coffee and a sweet treat! read more

Stopped in to grab some iced coffee during the RI food fights search for the best iced coffee in RI. I was immediately pleasantly surprised by the amount of coffee flavor choices they offer. The employees were very nice and made sure we had enough time read over the options and answered any questions we had. We also grabbed a variety of little cheesecakes while we were there. Unfortunately, they don't have decaf and weren't able to brew a decaf Americano and pour it over ice, but the full octane coffee we got was really good. They also have amazing mini cheese cakes (cupcake sized, for reference) in over 20 varieties, as well as breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and other savory options. There are like 36 flavors for coffee and about 18 cheesecake options. My husband thought this was pretty funny. As I walked into the shop Gycerin was blaring and an employee in the backroom gave a really good Gavin impression! Quite impressive. The young salesman was super nice helping me navigate throught he flavors. I went with salted caramel chocolate chip cookie dough and egg nog. Let me tell you- the egg nog might have been the best bite of cheesecake I have ever had! It was extremely creamy. It didnt have an egg nog flavor but a rich cheesecake. Omg! Like are you kidding me? The little cheesecakes from here are some of the best I've ever had! I got the cookie dough one that Charlie suggested. She was so right, it's amazing! While I came here for the RI iced coffee challenge, I can say that the real star is their epic cheesecakes. They have so many different flavors and they all look ridiculously good! Yeah, it's very deceiving from the outside and it looks very small when you get inside. It's very open and light and breezy type of thing. They have a big case in the frontwith probably be like 100 cupcakes in it probably like 25 or 30 different kinds we came for coffee. The price list was there but then we discovered after it wasn't accurate we ended up ordering a root beer float the price on the menu on the wall since 699. It ends up costing me over nine dollars with tax which I thought was kind of crazy. I know we're in Rhode Island. I think it was that expensive and she then said that when she rang it, it rang in at 8:49 then tax. I'm the manager the owner forgot to change the prices on the wall. That didn't really set too well with me she was very nice girl. She was very kind and understanding. I was gonna guess a couple of cupcake cupcakes. There was no price on the wall for a single Cupcakes come to find out if they were six dollars each. They weren't that big. They were not well maybe like your average size cupcake, but I don't feel that they were worth a six dollars each maybe if they were like 3 to 4 but not six dollars no way. So we didn't get Cupcakes. I treated my husband to the root beer afloat, cause she'd already made it so I thought we responsible to buy it. I would definitely say I would come back to the service, but I would not come back for anything else nothing spectacular for nine dollars and I just felt that was something that should've that she could've addressed that or like she said OK I'll give it to you for less surprise but if I can't make that decision, she's a employee and she's not an owner or something. It was a moral imperative to stop at this bakery as I was driving through Chepachet and I am so glad I did! The staff were very friendly and took the time to explain the flavors and options. Picked up a slice of this amazing cheesecake from Laura's in Smithfield ho is selling slices this weekend from Who Cut the Cheesecake who are located in Chepachet. I had this in addition to two other slices from Cheesecake Factory for my cheat meal......and Who Cut the Cheesecake was better than the Cheesecake Factory slices for sure. It was perfectly balanced, tasted more homemade and the cheesecake itself was more tart and dense compared to the Factory's which was more liquidly.
