Reasonably priced and delicious food and coffee! The lentil burgers really filled us up after a morning hike in the mountains. The coffee is simple, served hot or iced with plenty of nondairy milk options. Our food was ready quickly and the service was great! Veggies rejoice! This place is the cutest. It's like being in a quaint little hometown cafe with exceptional food quality. While not all Vegan/veggie, they have some options. We had the lentil burger and veggie wrap - best of both we've had in a while. And our sides were some great pasta and potato salads! We are always on the lookout for healthy food on our travels, but that became a desperate need in Gatlinburg where this is literally the only place we found that fit the bill. It's a little natural food grocery store with snacks and drinks and some personal care items and crafts, plus there is a small menu you can order from for sit down or take out. We ate there two days in a row because the thought of another heavy "meat and three" meal or vegetables cooked to mush was just too much to wrap our head around. We enjoyed a really good veggie wrap with greens, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, and hummus - so good we ate it both days! It's located outside the Gatlinburg fray so that is another plus! read more

Since my dad and brother are vegan, we were limited in terms of places to eat in Gatlinburg. We were very excited to find Whole Earth Cafe when we saw that they have a few vegan options. The cafe is really cute. It is also a little store with Whole Foods, drinks, clothing, and various other things. It's nice that you can shop around while you wait for your food. I ordered the lentil burger wrap with a side of vegan potato salad. All three sides are vegan (potato salad, pasta salad, and blue corn chips). My dad got the lentil burger sandwich, and my mom had the veggie wrap. We got our food to go and then took it into the National Park to eat it by the river. Everything was very good but very filling! The pasta salad had a bit of a strong taste but everything else was great. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to any vegans and vegetarians that are trying to find some options in the area. read more

As a vegan on the road its hard to find good cafes. This place had high reviews but was seriously a dump. Looked like there was a flood in it. Before getting there we called and she told us only take outs- now we see why. Long story shorter, we waited, and waited, and she wouldn't come out from back. Another family was waiting to. She was rude, unpleasant and we kept asking her if she could take our order. She didn't like my 5lb dog in my purse so for obvious reasons we both agreed I should leave. Glad I did. I don't know if the food was any better than the service but after peaking in the kitchen area im glad I left. Clean it up, or close it down. Ugh! read more

Just what I needed! Typed "salad" into my Yelp search and this was one of very few options in the area that popped up. I am so glad we decided to make the short trip to this yummy store and cafe. There is free parking, unlike some of the busier areas in town, which was a nice surprise. We ordered and had our food in less than 10 minutes which was great as we saw lines out the door at many of the touristy spots as we drove through town. I had the Greek salad and my fiancé had the chicken salad sandwich with potato salad. Everything was homemade, fresh, and delicious. Service was very friendly. This is a little shop attached to a grocery store for anyone with gluten free/vegan or organic needs. They have lots of grocery items, but we were here for the Lentil Burger and Chicken salad wrap. Both were excellent. The potato salad side was vegan as well and tasty with celery rather than pickle. I was excited to visit Gatlinburg and find a vegan friendly location, however there was one staff member working and she didn't even acknowledge any customers in the store. I had planned on eating lunch there, but changed my mind. I bought a few vegan health bars to take on a hike and when I opened them, I discovered mold. Because of the store hours I was unable to return to the store for a refund. I wouldn't recommend this store/restaurant. Very disappointing! read more

It was a generous portion of tuna - which was very light on the mayo (maybe no mayo at all), which was great, and the salad was huge, but it certainly wasn't anything to write home about. My fiance had the "salmon burger," which was just a filet of salmon on a bun (without any seasoning or sauce). The food is certainly bland. But we both wanted something super light and healthy before a day of hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. So, delicious? Not particularly. Healthy and light and kind of what we needed before an active day of hiking? Yeah. It was great to find this place during my vacay. We were looking for vegan options. Although we didn't try the cafe foods, there seemed to be good vegan alternatives and the non vegan foods were organic. It was a quaint shop and I loved the cast irons she was selling. If you are looking for vegan ingredients, this store had them. Even had some Beyond Meat burgers and sausages in the freezer. The prices were comparable to what I am used to paying at home (which is in Maryland). What was disappointing was my daughter bought a cookie (vegan - that is her fave and hard to find in just any store) and it was hard. This is not how it should have been. So it made us wonder how long that had been in stock and made us wonder how long all the other items have been in stock. For this, I give a 4 star. Check it out, though.
