    Made to order omelet

It was nice to have a place to eat while staying at the Park Vista. The buffet was a nice bonus. You could order room service but we wanted to come out and be social. The service was quick and everyone was friendly. My kids loved the variety. Price wasn't too bad at all with kids under 12 $7ish each and adults $16+. A nice variety of fruits, breads, meats, and a great omelette area. My kiddo asked for cheese scrambled eggs and she said they were the best! We'd come back. For breakfast. For dinner- we all enjoyed our meals overall. For the price, the quality could have been a touch better.

Vista Grill is the restaurant at the bottom of the doubletree hotel in Gatlinburg. Plenty of parking around for the hotel. The Vista had an indoor and outdoor space. Outdoors has an amazing view. The sliders were okay, plenty of fries. I wish the sliders came toasted or on toasted bread instead of the mini buns right out of a package. Drinks were good and servers were very nice! The vista serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

It was ok. Definitely don't come here if you aren't staying at the hotel. It served the purpose of us not having to go out and find dinner in Gatlinburg. The fries were honestly the best thing we had. The pasta with salmon and pasta with chicken was just ok. The kids loved their grilled cheese and burgers. Price was high for the taste and quality but really you expect that at a hotel restaurant.

During our Tennessee trip my friend suggested a meal in this restaurant located in the Park Vista, a Doubletree by Hilton hotel. We were staying at a hotel a bit further down the mountain. It is a really steep drive up to the hotel but once you get to the top you are rewarded with sweeping views of the Smokey Mountains and Gatlinburg down below. The view is the best reason to dine here. The Vista Grill is a full service restaurant serving American fare. The menu includes steaks, chops, chicken, sandwiches, and salads. You can dine inside or on the terrace with the gorgeous mountain view. If you are staying in the hotel you can get room service and they are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The color scheme of the restaurant is burnt orange, tan, and brown, with wood tables, chairs, and benches. The restaurant is fine but if weather permits, I would recommend sitting on the outside terrace. For our dinner my friend and I started out with some refreshing Midori based cocktails. After hiking all day in the mountains we were famished so we both had the burgers and fries. Portions were huge and delicious and prices are reasonable considering this is a hotel restaurant. The burgers were cooked perfectly to our specifications. Service was very friendly and the hearty meal was just what we were craving. If you are not staying at this hotel it is worth a drive up the mountain to have cocktails and an appetizer or a meal and to take in the view.

We stayed at the Vista so one star for convenience, another for service, another for cleanliness and another for the breadth of options. Was it the best breakfast ever? No? Was it good option before heading down the mountain for a packed day? Yes! And the view is nothing to scoff at!

Stayed at the hotel and did not want to go in town to wait in a line. We ordered the burger and wings to go. Did not take long to wait while we listened to the piano player in the lobby. The food was fresh and great (we are from Houston and spoiled).

I visited with a family group of 10, and from the moment we sat down, the experience was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly, quick, attentive, and made excellent recommendations that helped everyone decide what to order. Despite the size of our group, she kept drinks filled, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything came out correctly. The food was exactly what you hope for when looking for a hearty country breakfast. The griddle cakes were enormous, light and fluffy with a rich buttery flavor that soaked up the syrup perfectly. They had a slightly crisp edge while staying soft and tender in the middle. The Big Breakfast Platter was massive, loaded with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, and grits. That will say the first batch of grits that they gave me were horrible as they were clumpy and kind of cold however the waitress easily fix that and replace them with a hot bowl of brown sugar grits that I enjoyed completely, other than this Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and anyone who ordered eggs over medium were cooked just right The biscuits were some of the best we had during our Tennessee trip--large, flaky, buttery, and soft inside and out.. Whether eaten on their own or with gravy, they melted in your mouth. What impressed us most was that every single person in our party found something they loved, and everyone left completely satisfied. We were tasting everybody's food and still left with no one finishing their plates because The portions are no joke here. In fact, my only complaint is that there was so much food on my plate that I couldn't finish it all, and had to throw it away before heading home because it was a 3-hour ride back to the house so If you're visiting Gatlinburg and want a memorable breakfast with generous portions, great service, and delicious food, Crockett's Breakfast Camp is absolutely worth the wait, and it is a long long wait. sometimes..

She was nice, but not overly-friendly. The hostess and staff at the entrance were very lively and upbeat which was nice. I had the pulled pork plate and twisty fries and it was okay. My daughter liked the fries and I picked around at the pulled pork. There were tons of fatty pieces and it's like they just chopped up everything and left it in it. I like my pulled pork a little cleaner. My husband had a steak, and he said it was great! The salad bar was almost identical to the Peddler (which I know-they're the same people), and the rolls were, too. It definitely was a quick eating experience if you make a reservation-or else you'll be outside waiting with the rest of the folks. It's worth a try. You might love it!
