This isn't real BBQ! None of the meats were actual smoky tasting, no smoke ring visible, tasted more like boiled brisket, and old roasted pork. Terrible excuse for barbecue!! Waste of $72. Please do NOT eat here, unless you want bland, dry, tasteless food. We tried 4 different meat items, and none were good, not qualified as "barbecue". If the bbq is good and authentic you don't need 6 different types of bbq sauce. They offer 6 kinds of bbq sauce at each table. I suppose it's to disguise the flavor of the meats. Also, the collard greens had very little seasoning, and the coleslaw wasn't creamy at all. We all agreed it was the WORST BBQ we've ever had. This is the location near Hobby Lobby and David's Burgers.

Special of the day, ribs off the bone

We stopped here for a little Saturday late lunch and it did not disappoint. It's my fav bbq joint in Conway and this one was just as good! Service was fast, food was fresh, place was clean. I would recommend eating at whole hog!

    4 ribs and not a 1/2 rack.

This is a great place to eat BBQ. They do not skimp on portions and their variety in sauces makes the same meal taste with several flavors.

I don't usually eat BBQ but I like WholeHog. The burnt ends are well worth the price. My wife and I go often enough. Try it! You'll like it.

Best bbq out there in Arkansas. If you're close to Memphis, go to central bbq. If not, whole hog is an excellent number 2.

We started with the beef carpaccio which was a very generous portion and great...probably the best value I've ever seen for that dish! Next time we'd order without the tomatoes on top (kinda seemed like canned, crushed tomatoes and not a traditional part of the dish), but it was a great start to the meal! Then my husband got the pappardelle bolognese, and I ordered the pork chop. We probably should have known not to order pasta after seeing their version of "carbonara"...penne instead of spaghetti, peas, cream, AND chicken on top...my Italian husband was getting hives just reading it. The bolognese had huge chunks of undercooked onions and just wasn't a traditional bolognese at all. The pork chop was fine, but kind of dry even though I ordered medium and with no char on the outside. The Brussels sprouts as the side veggie were good. If we go back, we'll just get a bunch of carpaccio!

This establishment really likes to pretend to be gourmet, but it's a pretentious farce. Paying the amount we did for what is hospital quality eggs and biscuits, overcooked bacon, dry sausage patties, and Jimmy Dean Sausage Links is bizarre. Ordered an eggs Benedict and whoever poached the egg failed to drain it properly and I 'enjoyed' watered down hollandaise sauce with very little flavor. If you want a similar experience head over to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and enjoy the cafeteria's breakfast for $29 dollars less! :) They did have a very nice band playing, I would've preferred just giving them all of the money. A pretty terrible experience overall! :)))) Service was polite and helpful at least.

The waffles are just my favorite. Not for this particular one, the pecan walnut waffle was actually trash. The waffle maker poured the batter into the waffle maker and dropped pecans just in the middle. So there was a big clump of pecans in the middle of the waffle didn't take the time to spread them out which I say is why it was trash. The coffee was watered down no flavor and it wasn't even strong. Now, the staff was actually decent. They weren't fighting with customers that are portrayed in some of the other waffle houses, but they did have minor bickering back-and-forth. For the most part of our great working together. Although I'm giving it two stars it has actually closer to three stars. The waffle maker just need to not have so much attitude while cooking, And have some pride and what he does. My wife also had a couple of cocktails and a few glasses of wine. There was a lot that we enjoyed. The oysters and scallops were fantastic, and both desserts were excellent. The bread and butter were also very good. My wife thought the wine selection was excellent as well. Unfortunately, there were a few things that kept the experience from being as good as it could have been. The biggest disappointment was the duck breast. The flavor was good, but the fat wasn't rendered properly and the skin wasn't crispy. The result was a chewy, rubbery texture that made the dish difficult to enjoy. My wife's walleye was cooked well, but the blueberry sauce was so strong that it overwhelmed much of the fish's flavor. The cocktails were okay--certainly drinkable, but not a standout. We also found a plastic bread bag tie in my wife's salad. We pointed it out to our waiter, who removed it from the table, but there was no apology, explanation, replacement salad, or any acknowledgment beyond taking it away. Finding a foreign object in your food is unfortunate; having it essentially ignored was disappointing. One other thing we noticed was that the sides felt like an afterthought. Both entrées came with the same carrots and Brussels sprouts. They were fine, but nothing particularly memorable, and serving the exact same sides with very different dishes made the entrées feel less thoughtfully composed. The service was generally good, although somewhat slow. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, but he also didn't seem especially familiar with the menu at times. Overall, this was a mixed experience, especially with a price tag north of $300. The appetizers, desserts, and wine were the highlights of the evening. There were moments where the meal was genuinely excellent, but the issues with both entrées, the uninspired sides, and the lack of response to finding a bread tie in the salad kept it from feeling like the special anniversary dinner we had hoped for.
