I had my doubts it could be fixed, but I left the pants with them. When I went back they had pulled some of the threads to the inside but you could still see all the damage. It was not acceptable. She refused to compensate me properly for the damaged pants. Instead she made excuses and finally only offered me a little over the cost of dry cleaning the pants. Then when she gave me the money, she claimed not to have the exact amount and asked for change back from me which I didn't have on me. At this point I just wanted to get the interaction over with, she was so frustrating and unapologetic.

When he picked it up, it had been severely damaged. The material is melted and ripped, and the coat is no longer wearable. When I followed up with the business, they offered $200, which does not reflect the cost to replace the item. I located the exact same coat currently available for $319 and asked if they could cover that amount so I could replace it, but they refused. They stated the damage was due to the material and not their responsibility. However, the type of damage (melting and tearing) clearly suggests improper cleaning. If the item was too delicate to clean, that should have been communicated before accepting it. They also claimed a warning was given at drop-off, but my fiancé does not recall being told this. Additionally, when I asked about filing a claim, I was told they do not carry insurance. I understand some time has passed, but as a long-time, loyal customer, I expected a more reasonable resolution. This was handled poorly, and I cannot recommend this business based on this experience!

This is a high-end archival piece that sells for about $1,600 on luxury sites like 1stDibs. When I got the dress back, the sheer mesh that holds the leaf designs together was completely shredded and ripped. You can actually see the healthy mesh on one side of the dress, but on the other side, it's just gone or torn away. Now there are just frayed fibers sticking to the leaves like Velcro, which makes the dress unwearable. This was a collector's item and it was clearly not handled with the care a designer piece requires. I have photos of the damage and the 1stDibs valuation. At first everything was smooth, service and quality were not impacted. Then Denice turned the business over to her daughter and things seemed to take a turn for the worse. I noticed they couldn't find my clothes where the tag said they were supposed to be. I had to stand and watch the clothes go buy and point out what was mine. I was given someone else's clothes. One of my sports coats was missing from my order and was hanging separately because they had given it to someone else. These things left doubts in my mind, what if that person hadn't brought my clothes back? Who's responsible? This last week was the final straw. I had brought in a few shirts, a blue blazer and a sports coat for cleaning. Shame on me for not checking my items immediately. While packing for a business trip I was laying out my clothes and couldn't believe that they had pressed my blue blazer! Who presses a blazer? You could see all the lines from the pockets and buttons burned into the fabric. The collar and lapel trims were creased and burned! I'm absolutely furious that they would ruin my clothes and not have the integrity to say something. Other than to drop my ruined blazer off at their counter, I will never bring another article of clothing to Crystal Rose again. Save yourself a lot of frustration and some money, take your dry cleaning elsewhere.
