I have never in my life experienced such HORRIBLE service in a restaurant. I have told a multitude of people about this experience and will continue to do so to deter people from coming here. We came to Wicked Craft for a friend's birthday party. I accidentally bumped into a waitress who was coming around the corner of the booth with shots. There were six people at my table, assumably only six shots on the tray. I apologized immensely and even got two more shots separately to tip the girl out as soon as possible. I apologized to the manager and he claimed it was alright. Instead they charged us 200$ for the shots and would not budge about the price because I said "I would pay for it". Yes the price of the shots, but I am still at a loss for what the 200$ was for. For an idea of how things should be handled I was at a restaurant this weekend where someone broke about 20 glasses on complete accident and there was no charge, the manager was EXTREMELY kind about it and so was the server. i am going to start this off by saying ... i don't write reviews. i made this account to write this review. here's the tea -- 1.) if you get a table, you MUST get food. they did not tell us this before hand. 2.) the whole restaurant smells like ASS. every time something walked by, there was a new smell worse than before. at first it was cleaning supplies, then rotten cheese, then shrimp ... 3.) we paid 25$ for drinks that tasted like straight up sewer water. 4.) they could not tell us any allergen information, claiming that they "don't make things in house." and proceded to laugh about it. 5.) our service was shit, and our server ignored us for 30 minutes as we tried to leave. horrible experience and it drove me CRAZY read more

I made a reservation for 3 people on 4/13/24, and had called fairly in advance (perhaps Thursday? I can't remember). When I was speaking to the person on the phone making the reservation, she told me that I could come in at 7:00 to sit at the window bar, or 8:30 to be seated at a table. I opted for 8:30, as I would prefer to look at my friends who were visiting from out of state and this was the few hours I had with them. When we arrived at 8:25, we were told that our table would be ready in a few minutes and they were just waiting to clear it out. We said great, and we sat at the bar. It was a little tight, but we made do. Thats when trouble started. The Hostest (Bethany) came up and apologized profusely but said that we would not be getting a table, and instead it would be the window bar. If you haven't been inside the restaurant, this is a little bar area that looks out to Salem St. People walking by will stare at you while you eat, which is super uncomfortable. I was, obviously, disappointed. We understood that things happen, but if we had known this we would have come at 7:00 instead? We were promised a table, and compromised the time, only for the exact opposite to happen. Then, one table cleared as my friends and I were drinking our drinks, and I went up to the host and asked if we could get switched to that table. She said no, with no real explanation (not that she owes it to me, I just was confused.). So then, I asked my server the same question, and they went up to the hostess and asked about the now TWO empty tables. Both of which we could not sit down at. So my friends spent the whole night sitting side by side, trying very hard to include everyone in the conversation. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't the best either. And we were promised one thing only for it to not work out, which we understand happens but it was frustrating. One note I want to make. The hostess, Bethany, was as sweet, understanding, and accommodating as possible. She did no wrong and I appreciated how honest and accommodating she was for us, even if we weren't able to get a table. She explained why this may have happened and what not, and it made a lot more sense. So I want to just make it clear, she is a fantastic hostess and was not the reason behind the mix up, and this review SHOULD NOT reflect poorly on her. Overall, I'm giving the restaurant 2 stars. The whole experience was disappointing. The drinks (I got purple rain) was extremely strong and hard to sip, the food was mediocre, but very expensive, and the seating was messed up. On top of all of this, we had people staring at us while we ate because of the window bar seats. But this is truly not fault of the team last night. My server was fantastic and understanding, kind and helpful with all of us making a fuss, and the hostess was incredible as I previously mentioned. Even the guy who took our drink -- Nico?-- was fantastic and did an excellent job at communicating and working with us. So would I go back again? Probably not as a special trip. But if I'm in the area and they are available (or I have a reservation, where I am GUARANTEED a table) I would go back. Yes, I made a reservation for 3 people at a TABLE, which is what I was told on the phone by the hostess. I was told I could either sit at the window bar, at 7:00pm or at a table at 8:30. There was no clear communication from the hostess who answered the phone on whether a reservation just 'guaranteed a spot.' Instead, she told me I was guaranteed a table. I was not asking for anyone to give away tables as I don't see the seating chart because I am not an employee. Instead, I was asking for clarification because it was confusing. If I was going to only actually be given a window bar seat, we would have just come in at 7pm! Instead of waiting an extra hour and a half for a table that never happened. As someone who has worked in customer relations and as a hostess for several years, I would suggest two things: 1. Train your hostess' better so that communication is clear that there is no guarantee of a table on a busy Saturday night. If I was told that, then there wouldn't have been a problem to begin with. 2. Train your leadership team (the owners) on how to have polite, appropriate conversations with disappointed patrons who were only trying to let the general public know about the experience. The level of professionalism that is written in this owners reply is really appalling. If you'd like to see more of the owner's attitude towards people leaving legitimate reviews of completely valid concerns do your own research and read the google reviews. read more

So far we Love love love our first visit to Boston. Walked around North End which is sooo full of history with the beautiful timeless buildings, Italian restaurants and pastry shops with lines out the door - even in the rain. But... came across this bar to have a quick drink and OK.. we felt like we were back home in LA, which was also pretty sweet lol. Such a cute place to come for drinks or brunch! My friend and I were able to grab a spot at the bar during peak brunch time over the weekend. I tried the north end smash which has bourbon, lemon, mint and ginger beer. I found the drink to be refreshing and not too sweet, which I enjoyed. Rude staff. They aren't accommodating and have waitresses who should not work in the restaurant business. Had very high hopes in going to this restaurant and was let down. She charged us for the glasses ($114) which we paid but that didn't stop her from talking about us negatively, and even called us "broke". We escalated this to the "manager" who we thought would be accommodating but then she also treated us poorly. I saw Instagram influencers' videos about this restaurant and decided to check it out with a friend. We went for dinner on a week night. The restaurant is much smaller than the videos show. The staff is very nice, however, we didn't get our drinks until we almost finished the meal. Seems like they forgot the drinks at some point. We started with chicken wings as appetizer. For the main dish, I got the pastrami sandwich and it was good, but nothing to write home about. My friend got a burger with a combination of sweet potato fries and potato fries. One thing to note, their fries are very thin, shoestring fries. I'm personally not a big fan of these fries. The whole meal (2 drinks, 2 main, 1 appetizer) was about $120 including tips. This experience is not worth it in my opinion, you can get much better food and service for $120. Unless you want to blindly follow Instagram influencers' recommendations like me... I will not be coming back to this restaurant. P.S. it seems like they are doing a lot to promote their social media presence. We made it clear that one of our friends had a foot surgery and need a table that was accessible. We made it for 3:30. Once we got there we were told it closes for dinner and we could only order drinks and an app which we did. Then we get our dinner menu, place our orders and they send another server to say "im sorry we have bad news. We have this table reserved for ANOTHER birthday party and we need this table so either you guys get your dinner to go or we can give you guys a glass of champagne but you need to leave they had this reservation for a month" What the actual f**k. Had the most WICKED time at Wicked Craft in Boston! We were in town for the Sox game and had to swing by to check out their infamous brunch. To say that they know how to put on an epic show is an understatement. Everything was truly made for instagram, and you won't be able to not take pictures of your gorgeously player food. We tried a bunch of different cocktails, but our favorite was the light espresso martini. For entrees we tried the chicken and waffles, avocado toast, brunch ravioli (our favorite), and a new menu item: the green eggs and lobster sandwich (AMAZING). This place wrongfully charged me after they told me if I still honor my reservations, they will not charge me $125. I did not cancel the reservations, we came at a later time. They said if we still come there will be no charge. These guys are conmen. They lied and still charged me for coming at a later time for the reservation despite me talking to them several times prior . Then once i realized i was charged, i have been trying to get to them , no one said that they would not refund me. They would take my information down then say the manager will get back to me. This place is the epitome of looks better than it is. The restaurant is trying so hard to be trendy and instagramable that it lacks actual quality. The drinks come in crazy cups and the plate presentation is interesting enough to take photos of but the food was not great. Their IG posts make this place seem like it's a great place to go out for a girl's night out, and it is....if you are very young. It's a tiny, tiny place. So tiny that if your table isn't ready yet, you will most likely have to wait outside like we did. They play very loud club music, offer $16 mixed drinks, most of the food is really spicy and is served with dry ice. The place is decorated with hanging flowers and changing colored lights (think dorm room). There's always a line for the bathroom since there's just one tiny bathroom, but they will tell you that you can use the men's room if there's nobody in there. Also, it's a shock, but your group will be charged $50 PER PERSON when you make your reservation, so be prepared for that. I can't say I will ever go back as it's just too expensive, too loud and too much for my old butt. If you're turning 21, this place might be it though. read more

We're absolute fans of Wicked Craft Co., both for their lip smacking food and amazing vibe. They serve unique cocktails with beautiful presentations. The Gimme S'more cocktail was divine! Our favourite dish was the Thanksgiving Sandwich that had a great portion size containing a roasted Turkey breast, cranberry chutney, authentic stuffing, gravy and mayo. It was served with mashed potatoes with corn ribs. If you're looking for a variety of items in one dish, you should try the Party Board. Awesome sandwich selection. I'm a HUGE fan of the Kitchen Sink BLT sandwich along with the Poison Ivy tequila drink. My friend got the espresso martini and said it was better than Modern Pastry's espresso martini which is a hell of a statement. The atmosphere here is awesome, they did a great job at incorporating a very mild witch theme into a modern planty environment with real moss, real plants and lots of wood amongst other decor. Anyway- SANDWICH PEOPLE HAVE TO EAT HERE. COCKTAIL LOVERS HAVE TO DRINK HERE. The staff is also very genuine and sweet people. I'm outraged about the charge of 150$ you guys charged me on my Bday! I was looking forward for weeks to visit you guys for the fisrt time ever! Really disappointed in management here. We arrived at 3pm Saturday without a reservation and there was a wait for drinks or a table. Came here on a Friday night for some after-dinner cocktails last year. My wife and I saw it was new and wanted to try it out especially because we're big cocktail aficionados. The place was extremely busy. It's full of style with some substance. We sat at the bar after a brief wait despite having a reservation. I looked around and I think my wife and I were probably some of the oldest people there, definitely a younger crowd. The cocktails were good but my expectations were high with the very hip and stylish atmosphere. They even have a bouncer at the door.
