I was in town for the day and heard about this place from a friend, decided to try it on a Saturday evening. Got there around 6, ordered a drink and went to the patio. Even though it was 93 degrees out, the patio was shaded and very cool and enjoyable! I love everything about the atmosphere... the decor, the patio, the music, the drinks! It's a dog friendly bar, so of course I'm in!! Didn't have my dogs with me but would definitely bring them here! The recovery punch was amazing, made with fresh juices! If you sit in the patio area don't worry it's not too hot in this Texas heat, they have plenty of fans to keep you cool. The tv is in the center so you won't miss any action, if your watching a game. I tried to get in contact with the bar and they never answered the phones or anything. I didn't lose anything important so I didn't insist. I doubt I'll be back because of the lack of security. I care here for happy hour during March Madness and this place is so adorable. It's cute and charming and the it reminds me of a bar you would find on Rainey Street in Austin. There were tons of options for drinks (happy hour or not) and everything tasted very fresh. My only problems or issues would be with the serving process. When I was there you could order inside or *hope* someone made their way to you to get your order. It was a little bit confusing and kind of a lengthy process to get your drink. The bartenders were really nice and helpful even though it was getting busy. I went around 4:30 on a Friday which is, I would think, a pretty chill time. After we got there a band started coming on and they were a little too loud for my taste. At 10pm, sure! 5-ish, pass. There was a live band when we went so that's good entertainment. My friend and I were trying to do some work which was a little bit hard since it was dimly lit inside. I thought the cocktails were subpar.... Maybe I need to give it another try. I do like that Yo-Yo's Hot dogs is there! I think they come Thurs-Sun but don't take my word for it. Were meeting some friends to enjoy a nice afternoon outside. Walked in with our 7 month old and we were turned away at the door--I guess they have a strict no children policy.
