Today I received a slim pickings of meat and veggies to the point where the sandwich looked like it was just a loaf of bread. I have a colleague that also went to Quik Stop that same day and we both had the same experience. I guess it's back to homemade sandwiches from now on. I'm sad to have to move on but I won't pay for a sandwich that is over $10 with a slice of meat and sprinkle of veggies. The service is still great.

The sandwich was perfectly proportion (meat/ cheese/bread), but what takes it to the next level is the freshly baked, perfectly toasted house made bread. On June 20th, 2026, Substation has closed its doors after a fantastic run! Service- owner was always so personable and remembered a face! The staff was united because he build a community and special outings for employees. The memories were always posted on the wall. Ambiance- the owner and family made the seating and tables I recall. Very simple with patio seating available. Amazing job! You will be sorely missed.
