I have been going to this Wienerschnitzel for years (at least 30). It's like an addiction, sometimes nothing else will do. Beside all the very tasty deserts and especially this new Pineapple Lemonade, what really has always stuck out to me is the very friendly and respectful staff that work there. Wienerschnitzel has the best ice cream. They do have a lot of meat but, there banana split has the best bananas I have ever had. They always have fresh fruit, I love going there and chilling with my friends. Overall this is not even close to the heathy choice you should make, it is really good and I will go again. read more

This particular wienerschnitzel made me vomit. The chili fries did not sit well with me. Maybe the staff dropped the fries on the floor, let flies land on them, or prepared them without washing their hands. This place didn't used to be that bad where I feel nauseous/food poisoning. read more

I love wienersnizel. I have been to many and they all have been delicious except this one. I thought they were just having a bad day, but today was the last straw. The food was not fresh, my jalapeno poppers were missing cheese, several were just fried pieces of skin, the hot dog tasted old and gross, and the burger was under cooked. First off, you have to consider the really cheap prices and what you get is pretty close to what you pay. The hot dog pastrami was pretty good actually, with cheese and a spear pickle which gave it some crunch. The Angus chili dog was meaty, tasty dog and a sesame bun even. The chili burger was just ok for the price and the chili cheese fries were soggy. Went to Wienerschnitzel last night to feed my craving of a hot dog and my fiance's craving for a milkshake. We couldn't decide which location to go to and unfortunately chose this location. This location doesn't know how to talk to their customers, let alone acknowledge that there are even customers waiting to be helped. The girl taking orders only cared about what her male coworker was doing which was taking out trash. She made great attempts to find trash to take to him, forgetting she had customers waiting to be helped. We waited about 5 minutes to be helped at the drive through. We could clearly see the people inside but no one even took notice we were there. I told my fiance I was going to give them one more minute then leave if they hadn't taken our order. Luckily they realized we were there and took our order. There were two cars in front of us. By the time we got to the front window, 20 minutes had passed. Looking at the timer in their window, it took them just a little over 10 minutes to help the car in front of us. We noticed right after ordering they had made our root beer float and it sat on the counter the whole time we were waiting. We didn't get an apology or anything for the long wait. If the employees were more experienced and cared a little more about their job, then maybe they'd have a better review from me. It would have been faster for me to go to the grocery store and grab the supplies needed to make my own hot dog. Lesson learned, don't go to this location. read more

This place has the worst service ever! Sad that they lost my business because there are 8 adults of which 6 are men that live at my house!!!!! Hungry is what they are after a long day at work. Sometimes we like to get some quick fast food but never again will we go to this location! I suggest the one on Oceanside Blvd. This one on Coast Hwy is a no, no. I am as patient as can be for the simple fact I work in the customer service world. If you do not like to work with people then you should not be in customer service! I think this owner hired his family to work there and they are RUDE. I actually asked for my money back, as hungry as we were, and called the 800# to report them. I think it must have been about a week later that the OWNER called my cell phone directly to ask me what happened and try to convince me that I was wrong! HA! What a joke! Well as of last night, this DW has lost me as a customer forever! Again, I took another chance on stopping by to get my favorite-all beef chili dogs. Again, was I disappointed. Not only were the hot dogs not all beef (which I paid extra for), but there was less than a tablespoon of chili on each one. Is there a chili shortage at DW? This is the last time I will spend my time and money on an inferior product from this location. Yeah, it may be convenient, on the way home from the train. Never had so little chili on a chili dog before. Der Wienerschnitzel is my hubbys favorite but this one only put enough chili on to cover half the hot dog barely. One only had about 1 TBSP of chili. Next time I'm in Oceanside I'll find another location. read more

This place is not the best we never got what we ordered and they never gave us a receipt I would not recommend the one in Oceanside

Just got home after a large order to bring home and whoever is working this Friday, 8/21 should be fired or retrained at the very least. Ordered 4 corn dogs, 4 chili cheese dogs, 2 chili cheese fries, a shake and a root beer float. Repeated the order and after paying and waiting for 5 minutes had to tell them they forgot the chili cheese fries. Had to pay again and wait another 5 minutes. Got home to find no cheese on the chili cheese dogs, chili was ice cold and almost non existent on all, dogs were undercooked and the buns were not steamed per usual, root beer float was under filled (didn't even come up to the top of the cup, let alone the plastic cap). Seriously...owners should pay more attention to who they hire and provide better supervision. Complete waste of $20. Guess I'll make the extra drive to the ore location in Oceanside next time. read more

I'd like to thank and applaud the excellent customer service from all the drive thru employees that have taken my orders! I get at wiener schnitzel craving about once a month and every time I order at this location the staff is always so friendly and will genuinely engage in a light hearted conversation or just smile and be very attentive to my order! More specifically, last Thursday (1/18), the young man helping me out apologized for the wait and thanked me for my patience. He then went on to ask me about my day and we had a nice conversation. I can't remember his name but he was really friendly and memorable. A craving hit me again tonight and had to get a pastrami french fry. The employee Alexander was super chill and nice to me. He made sure my order was right and was chill about me being a little picking about the order and changing it a few times! There needs to be a "tip" movement in place rather than a $15/hr movement. These kids would make way more than $15/hr if tips were recognized and allowed by a chain restaurant like Wienerschnitzel . Their customer service skills deserve tips! read more
