Thanks for doing a good job! The Freezee looks nothing like the window cling that was displayed on their door (with large strawberry and chocolate chunks) but it tasted surprisingly quite good. Reminds me of strawberry Breyer's ice cream and the chocolate chunks taste exactly like that special magic chocolate fudge that solidifies when you pour it on your ice cream. I finished this ice cream in two sittings and felt insanely sluggish after. I'm sure I literally drank 1000 Calories and 85% saturated fat. Please. Nobody look it up and confirm. The damage is done. I ordered a meal that was $8.69 with a small pepsi. When I got to the window I asked if they could make it a medium drink. They said it would be $11.69. I said it's $3.00 more to change from a small to a medium so I said never mind the drink. They never told me how much more it would be when I upgraded. Let's be honest, I only went here because the line for In-N-Out across the lot was a mile long. They don't take AMEX (really, what decade are we in?) and the food was overpriced, gross, cold and no where near what I'd hoped for. My first job was at a Wienerschnitzel and I always loved the food. But, it's probably also been about 15 years since I've seen one of these places. I paid something like $12 for 2 crappy chilli cheese dogs, a bucket of fries that were soggy and gross, and a cup of ice with a little soda to flavor it. I ate maybe 6 fries on my way home and tossed them in the garbage. The hot dogs were just, meh. I'd rather go to Costco. And, I didn't realize they gave me ice instead of the Coke I ordered until 5 sips later I was out and on the freeway back to my hotel. read more

As many people as there were in the drive-thru line, i was pleased to have gotten through the Togo line quicker than expected. Yet, as we were waiting 2nd in line for our food, the door to the kitchen was open for the customers(myself) to see in. While I've worked in the restaurant industry for over 11 years, I can acknowledge that I wasn't thrilled to see everyone's food being made in an unsanitary way. Given a few chances here... The manager yesterday made it the last time I go there... We ordered waters with our 30$ food order which they forgot...no biggy but my teen daughter walked in to get hers and she accidentally trying to get water got soda cause unless you know the little side button is for water ... Simple mistake. The manager told her I don't steal from you you don't steal from me! Oh no he didn't!!! The staff at this location is always quick and very friendly. It's somewhat hard to hear through the speaker, but they never seem to less up your order. The chili cheese dogs and chili cheese fries are always on point. Th chili cheese burgers, hit or miss. Prices are not bad for what you get. If you look online, there are sometimes internet specials they honor ONLY when you mention them. Bonus! They also usually give a coupon out with your purchase for a free corn dog or something of that caliber. I love their $0.79 ice cream cone! read more

Very rude young lady at the counter . I simply asked her to throw away an empty clean water bottle a small one. She rudely said no. when I politely asked why she gave me some ridiculous answer about cross-contamination but she was not wearing gloves so go figure that. I simply asked because I had nowhere to put my drink. The food is regular. But this is not the first time I've had youngsters being disrespectful. I thought I had previously written a review for this played out ghetto style poor customer service fast food joint. Alas, I guess not. So here goes - quick'n dirty. The service sucks. The place is dirty. The area is ghetto. What's it got going for them that deserves an extra star? Inconsistency and a dipped cone. Yep. Thanks to their inconsistency in preparing food, sometimes I get a mega-cone dipped in chocolate while my ice cream eating partner gets a midget cone. And every once in awhile, vice versa. For my first time here, I'm pretty torn. The food was fresh and tasty, the fries were hot and crispy and the staff was friendly. I was greeted warmly when I walked in. This is where the pleasantness ends. I went in tow ash my hands and the bathroom was filthy. It looked like it was mopped with a bucket of ear wax, there was s massive turd in the toilet and the paper towels were out. After washing up holding my breath, I dried mug ands on my shorts and ordered. I was served right away and would have enjoyed my fine inexperience a whole lot more if the door weren't propped penny the staff. It was a cool day and the dining area was like a wind tunnel. I typed this into Yelp and really, this is the only Wienerschnitzel location in San Diego??! Now that I think about it, I've never seen another Weinerschnitzel anywhere in San Diego let alone out of San Diego lol. Well, the food here is ok. With somebody with stingy tastes, it'll probably rank at below average. We only would come here for when it was one of those cheap days and Top Ramen was out of the question. The food tastes good and as you would probably think, it would give you the McShit's but it doesn't lol. I really like the deals that they have here and their ice cream is really yummy. I always get their chili cheese dogs and their loaded fries. They use to have these chicken poppers here that I would get every single time I came but I don't notice them on the menu anymore. Recently went while they were receiving a health inspection. You would think best time to go. WRONG! Only the manager speaks english so all the health information is in spanish. I go there for lunch every once in a while since its close to my work. I usually order a chili cheese dog and their jalapeno poppers, their poppers are my favorite. Today I was a lil short on cash so I just got the chili dog and skipped the poppers. The manager there is always the one to take care of me and we always joke about my order of the poppers. So he noticed I strayed from my usual order this time. As I was finishing my chili dog the manager brought out an order of poppers and said "here's you complimentary loyalty order of poppers" , we both laughed and I thanked him. Great food. Some might say fast food in general is bad, but I love this place. The corn dog and Chile Chees Fries are amazing. Price is a little high but with coupons it makes it worth it. This location was not busy when I went. Was clean, and the service was good.
