My boyfriend and I recently tried Wiggy's. We ended up liking their food so much that we went back a week later. lol Wiggy's is a very casual restaurant, located in a strip mall. While they offer a variety of items (salads, subs, ribs, etc) they are known for their wings and their variety of wing rubs and sauces. Both times we visited, we got a variety of different wing flavors and their fresh cut fries. Everything was delicious. I will say that we both preferred the wing sauces over the dry rubs. We felt the sauces had more flavor than the dry rubs. But the wings were cooked perfectly. The fries are fresh cut so you can't beat that! The customer service there is also really great. The staff make you feel like you've known them for years. I've already recommended Wiggy's to a few people who were in search of good wings. Definitely glad I checked this place out!

The food is alright. Always is. That's not the problem. The problem is when they bring your food to you at 300 freakin degrees. Scalding hot. I don't want to sit here and wait for 15 minutes for my food to cool down just to enjoy it. The overall atmosphere is sports oriented, but EXTREMELY plain and. 3 skill games and not much else. Although I advise against dry rub Ranch.

    Italian Sub with Fries

Ordered the Supersonic Wings and Italian sub. Wings are great, as always! Decent size and worth the price. I've ordered wings here before and they're always crispy but not over cooked and dried out. The Supersonic is medium heat buffalo sauce with a pepper dust that adds some nice flavor and a kick. The Italian Sub is kinda lack luster. Not a lot of meat and It looked like they hit it with a vinegrette, but couldn't really taste it. The fries were fresh cut but I didn't see or taste any seasoning on them. Service is ok. They tend to close early on slow nights, so don't count on the hours. I've called 45 min to an hour before closing time and they don't answer the phone. They'll lock the doors early too and won't take orders. The sit in dining area is pretty plain but always clean!

The Wiggy's Menú!! Look at all those sauces!!!!

I think my favorite part about road tripping is stumbling upon places like Wiggy's. My girl wanted wings-- and this place is the real deal. Did you see that menu? No paper menús-- just that board on the wall. She had the General Tso's wings-- unfathomably huge wings sauced up right-- served hot and sticky. For me it was the sirloin steak sandwich. And, no this was not processed steak umm style mystery meat-- this was a sirloin steak, grilled and served whole on a toasted roll with slivered red onion, lettuce, and tomato-- with a heap of fresh cut fries on the side. Fannnnnnnnntastic. In a million years I would have never found this place had we not just randomly tripped upon it-- tucked into the center of a strip mall like it is-- but I'm glad we did. There's plenty of parking, hockey on the tv and framed pics of Pittsburgh's greatest covering a whole wall. It's perfect. If you want good food, great and fast service without the fancy, Wiggy's is your spot.

This place is one of my favorites for wings and fresh cut fries! I was a little disappointed this time around though. The fries and wings were both over cooked. The sauce for the garlic parm wings (which is so good you could drink haha) leaked out of the container and all over the inside of the bag. The seasoned salt wings were good but needed some more on the wings. These few things aside, the wing sauces and flavors are delicious. You can't go wrong with fresh cut fries either! They offer pickup with cash or credit/debit card. Parking around here can suck and is tight so be careful.

Yum! Wings were amazing (I had the old bay wings and medium buffalo wings). The fresh cut fries were delicious. This is a great, old school little spot in the Green Tree area.

Chipotle BBQ and Sweet Chili wings

Great place for wings! For sure come here during Wing Night for 50 cent wings, so you can try more of their flavors. We ordered the Chipotle BBQ and Sweet Chili. I preferred the Sweet Chili, as it had a small kick that went along with the sweetness. Chipotle BBQ would have been better if it had some spiciness in the sauce, as the name implied. The wings are all a very nice size and have a lot of meat on the bones. Skin is crispy, but the sauce is kind of just poured on top and doesn't really stick. So you have to dip the wing into the extra sauce to cover the whole thing. Seating is limited too, so if you're dining in, be prepared to have to wait for a seat. Overall, a popular place for wings and you get pretty great quality wings for a cheaper price. Also the location is perfect to walk over to the bowling alley for an after dinner activity.

Great wings with tons of sauce options. Wednesday's and Saturday's are 50 cent wing nights Also, don't sleep on the fried cheese balls. They are amazing

Came in during their 50 cents wings night (DINE IN ONLY) around 8pm, which is on Wednesday and Saturday! Awesome wings, speedy service, friendly staff. I got: 8 buffalo garlic parm (the best flavor out of the 5 that I got) 8 roasted garlic pepper (too salty!) 8 Asian ginger (not a fan) 8 hot bbq (the worst sauce out of all of them) 8 honey habanero (not spicy at all) I was looking forward for the Asian ginger, but it was a major let down. I was surprised to see how packed it was on a Wednesday night, I had to wait around 10 mins to get a seat. Container is $1 during wings night, soda is free refills, you can actually bring home your leftover without the upcharge (bonus!) Will definitely come back for more!

Our waiter came immediately and let us know the drinks on draft were $2 off for Happy Hour. I ordered the Purple Haze, a raspberry lager, and really enjoyed it's smooth fruity flavor. As a meal, I ordered the fish sandwich with chips, since upgrading to fries was an extra $3. The sandwich came out within 10mins, freshly hot and fried crispy. They split the big fish in half and stacked it on a bun, so it's very filling. On the side they give you a small portion of tarter sauce, which wasn't nearly enough for how much fish was on the sandwich. It was in need for a bit more flavor, so we requested hot sauce. Tabasco was free (other sauces were 50 cents) but unfortunately the bottle stated it expired in June of 2023. It didn't have any spice left and was a brownish color, so I didn't want to put it on my fish. The chips on the side were good, seasoned with salt and pepper. Overall the fish sandwich was good and a large portion, it just needed more sauce or maybe seasoning on the batter to give it more flavoring. For $15, I would recommend supporting a Firehall or Church fish fry that provides more sides with their menu items for the same quality.

I'd rather drive out of state than have to cross a bridge and tunnel to get somewhere so I only stopped twice when at a nearby meeting. Decades back, my best friend lived right up the street. This was practically an extension of their own house. They were there often. Often is an understatement. I'd get off from work and knew where I could find friends. Here. I'd often stop and pick up something on my way home to the South Side Slopes. I recognize that its been a long, long time since I lived in the Southern Side of the city. I haven't been here regularly in years. I still enjoy stoping by. The last few times, the service was - I hate to say this- not good. I really do hate to say that. The reason people loved this place was because Louie, Toni, & their staff were friendly and made it an experience. Long gone are staff that made anyone in Pgh feel welcome. The last 2 stops in, I felt like an inconvenience. My orders weren't correct each time. One was a to go order.
