I had the spicy tuna served on their Dutch crunch roll with pepper jack cheese. lettuce, tomato, and red onions. You can get this sandwich as a Panini but I went the traditional route. My husband had the Laguna Italian and added a bit of mayo because he likes his sandwiches a bit more saucy. Wow- may have just had one of the best sandwiches in my life. Visiting Laguna for the day and we heard good things about this place, so we got some subs for the beach. There wasn't a line when we placed our order and our food came out in under 10 minutes. I got the turkey bacon avocado on their Dutch crunch bread which was AMAZING. The bread tasted super fresh and the sub was very filling like an ~8 inch sub I believe. Docking a star because there was barely any bacon on the turkey bacon avocado sammy, I thought they forgot it but there was only 1 piece of bacon, and because my friend asked for no veggies on her sandwich just meat, cheese, mayo and they still added all the veggies. We should've double checked it before leaving, but in the future I would double check your sub before leaving if you have any modifications. I saw a recent 1 star review due to lack of gluten free bread. The owner has a very thoughtful reason about this + they offer salads for folks like my husband who are gluten free (minor allergy and can handle cross contamination). Came here today, had quite terrible service. Came with my boyfriend who was standing right next to me while I was ordering. I got the turkey bacon avocado, had two chips on the counter and the woman taking my order didn't ask for my boyfriend's order. After she took mine, she rang up the chips and immediately asked if it was for here or to go. It's fast casual, meaning you order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. The staff is very friendly. There is a nice selection of sandwiches. I keep meaning to try all of them, but due to repeatedly ordering my favorite ones, I have not made it through the menu. Their bread comes from a local artisan bakery. You wouldn't know it from the street, but this place has a really great back patio away from the hustle and bustle of PCH. I happened across their opening week after dropping of my son at Cho's Academy (another 5 star Laguna establishment) and it's quickly become a favorite. Solid sandwiches, big portions and some pretty unique combinations. The happy hour has to be one of the better deals in Laguna and the humus plate is awesome. Come here frequently and they serve good sandwiches. Typically good customer service and quality food overall. Today came in and the place was pretty empty Monday at 5:55 pm. Guy cuts in front of me to pick up an order. The lady at register then informs me she can't take my order as they are closing in two minutes. She was nice about it but never asked anything at all as I had a bottle of water and chips at register for her to clearly see. I looked down and said ok and casually put the chips and water back.
