She loved the French toast and I cleaned my plate if smoking hash, spicy hash and eggs. Not overly spicy but very tasty. Happy to discover that they have boozy coffee drinks. I enjoyed a Nutty Irishman, coffee with Bailey's and Frangelico. Very tasty and topped with whipped cream. Wild Eggs is usually #1 on my go-to's for brunch. Unfortunately, the experience I had yesterday might stop me from going there again. My girlfriend ordered the eggs bennie and halfway through found some shards of eggshell in her food. At that point every bite had eggshell and she couldn't finish it without crunchiness in every bite. Beyond the gross factor, it's a safety issue. Had she not noticed, it would have been real easy for a shard of eggshell to do some damage going down. I'm really disappointed. read more

Stopped by Wild Eggs for lunch a few weeks ago with a coworker. The downtown Cincinnati Wild Eggs location is located in the Northwest Corner of the Queen City Tower at corner of 4th & Sycamore Street. There were a few people in the lobby who placed to go orders, so took a few minutes to seat us. I found out while we were there you can reserve your table in advance through Yelp, which I will note for next visit. Once we were seated, we were given menus, you will find a variety of items for breakfast, brunch, lunch - more creative egg dishes than you can imagine. I narrowed down to a few items and asked waitress for her recommendations and selected the the Wild Quesadilla with a side of the breakfast tots. Our food arrived a few minutes later and what a portion for the quesadilla, enough for two servings and those tots, wow those tots, delicious!!! My family and I went here for breakfast a little bit ago and overall we enjoyed our experience there. Wild Eggs used to have a much bigger menu, so I was a little shocked when I say the new one, although there is still a ton of options. We had a party of 7 and everyone found something they loved. I got a pomegranate mimosa to drink, and it was delicious, but a little pricey for the size. I really enjoyed the chilaquiles I had to eat, but I've definitely had better. It had been literally years since I've been to Wild Egg's so it was more than high time that I returned. As before it specializes in breakfast dishes. We started with one of their Cinnamon Rolls and I still believe these are the very best of the cinnamon rolls I've ever had. An ooey gooey rolls topped with a cream cheese icing I've never had one any better than this. For my main course I got what they called the Dodge City Platter. It comes with a 8 ounce New York Strip, 3 eggs over medium, home fries, and an order of biscuits and gravy. The steak was perfectly cooked, had great flavour from their seasonings (definitely no steak sauce required here), and was just all around delicious. My eggs were fine and their home fries also had great seasoning and were delicious. The biscuits and gravy was a miss for me as the biscuits were very dense and the bacon gravy they used just was very odd and not pleasant at all in my opinion. Also my wife and child got egg dishes that were not cooked the way they were ordered (one sunny side up and the other was supposed to be over easy.) It's a small quibble but when the name of your restaurant is "Wild Egg's you shouldn't be making a mistake like that. Nevertheless there was a lot more good than bad here and that cinnamon roll is to die for. read more

So glad Wild Eggs is in Ohio now! I always visit this restaurant when visiting Kentucky and am happy to have it here. It makes it easier to satisfy my fix for Wild Eggs. There's a parking garage right next to the restaurant which makes it easier to park since it's located in downtown Cincinnati. We arrived on a Saturday morning and there was plenty of seating available. Our server was extremely kind and helpful. We ordered the delicious Cinnamon Roll, Eggs Benedict, Kalamity Katie and pancakes. Everything was wonderful and oh so satisfying! If you're looking for a place to eat breakfast or brunch, you can't go wrong with eating here. There's definitely something for everyone. Wild Eggs is a regional chain specializing in breakfast and lunch. There are currently three locations in Cincinnati. My family and I recently visited their newest location downtown on 4th Street in the ground floor of the Great American Tower. We found plenty of tables available upon our 11 AM entry, something that cannot always be said about some of the other local spots. However I feel that this could change quickly as it was much more crowded on a second visit. I had already eaten a small breakfast earlier in the day, so I went for one of their lunch options. Their Reuben can be made with either a half-pound of lean corned beef or turkey breast. It is topped with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing between slices of toasted light rye ($11.99). This is served with your choice of fries, chips, or skillet potatoes. I went with skillet potatoes as it is not something you can often find during lunch. Overall this was a solid lunch option. My wife went with one of their more creative options, the Trippin' Chickin' Crepe ($10.99). This features savory crepes stuffed with pulled chicken, spinach, and wild mushrooms, topped with white cheddar Mornay and smoked paprika. This was outstanding! I'm always a sucker for Mornay sauce and this was delicious, and also very filling. Our daughter really enjoyed having a kids omelet option that was filled with cheddar-jack cheese, and served with fresh fruit, and toast ($3.29). While our son stuffed himself on a short stack of two fluffy pancakes topped with powdered sugar and syrup on the side ($2.99). My family has really been impressed with Wild Eggs so far and we will return soon. There is a location in Oakley even closer to our home so we may head that way next time. read more

The server we had was really good at his job and just a natural. It was like he invited me into his home. The food is another story. Somebody doesn't know how to cook grits as they were near completely raw. The potatoes I suspect were from a bag and didn't tasted sautéed or fried, maybe air fried and totally unseasoned. The food was good and the pomegranate Mimosa was even better. They sat me on the patio and the weather was perfect. I enjoyed my meal. Until this happened... I noticed that my check was brought to me before I began to eat actually directly after my food was served. I also noticed that other Caucasian customers did not receive their bill until they absolutely finish their meal. Easily walked right in on a Saturday morning at 8:30with no wait and maybe only 5 tables with people at them. Ordered ice tea and they hadn't yet made any for the day. Seemed very unorganized. Servers couldn't figure out who's turn it was next to take a table. A few staff sitting around on phones out in the open. Service was decent. There are a few times in life where a meal comes together so perfectly and is so exquisitely crafted that it is nothing short of genius. We just had the one of those meals at Wild Eggs in Cincinnati. Our dishes were excellently prepared. The entire experience started off with a warm friendly smile and welcome and prompt seating. It followed with a delicious cup of coffee. We chased that coffee with GF pancakes. We have tried "GF" pancakes in many places, but the ones at Wild Eggs were BY FAR the best ones we've ever tasted. They were light, fluffy and delicious! For our meals, my wife ordered the Kitchen Sink Nachos and I ordered the Mexico City Chilaquiles. OMG! The nachos were HUGE and so yummy! And the chilaquiles were scrumptious! Their OJ is squeezed fresh and delicious. It was so fresh you could taste the tart of the pulp. It felt like we had bitten into a juicy orange. The server, Jade, was incredibly nice and friendly. We also met the GM, Ray. And we understand why this place is run so smooth and friendly. It all starts at the top. Ray was professional and friendly. He was serving along with his staff! French toast: I only had one bite, but it tasted fine. Chicken and waffle: I like that they use chicken breast, however, the chicken could have been more juicy. It was a tad dry. The waffle on the other hand was amazing, there were pieces of chicken within the waffle, which kicked it up a notch. The buttemilk syrup was gimmicky and alright, but it didn't knock my socks off. Side of scrambled eggs: it came out cold and was rather expensive for just 2 eggs. Side of bacon: they charge $3.75 for a side and they weren't even thick cut bacon. They were just those cheap thin store bought bacon, however, they give you about 5 pieces, which made it less of a ripoff, but not much to look forward to. This place was solid! Came here before the football game and it was super convenient. We put ourselves in the get in line thing ahead of time and we came right up and only had to wait like 15 min for our table when they were clearly busy. Was also able to get substitutions (egg whites instead of eggs, fruit instead of home fries, pancake instead of muffin). We wanted to get brunch with a friend, and Wild Eggs had been on our list for a while, so we decided to check out the downtown location at 11AM on a Sunday. A little more tart than sweet, but you could tell it was fresh squeeze. My wife had the house blend coffee which was full bodied and bold without being too bitter, even black. My wife ordered the surfer girl omelette. It had lots of cream cheese, mushrooms, and avocado. It came with a side of potatoes and a muffin, and was a generous size itself. I had the breakfast nachos, which were chips covered with refried beans, eggs, shredded chicken (or you can choose beef or chorizo), jalapeños, and cheese. Not quite a traditional Mexican breakfast but delicious. They have tons of options for omelettes and other scrambles, as well as waffles, pancakes and French toast. You're bound to find something you like. Service: The service was absolutely fantastic. We were seated in about 10 minutes at 11AM, which is roughly what we were told as we arrived. One of my friends ordered something and asked for turkey sausage. When his order came out, it clearly had chorizo on it. The server took it back after apologizing profusely, and a replacement came out literally 2-3 minutes later. Another individual, manager I believe, came out to apologize during that short wait, and after the food came out, even the chef came out to apologize. It wasn't a huge deal, but a huge kudos to how they handled it. They even comped that entree. It really left us impressed, as honestly we would have just been happy with the replacement. I really enjoy Wild Eggs. I first tried Wild Eggs in Louisville, KY. My family was in town for Labor Day weekend, so we decided to all go to Wild Eggs for brunch. This Cincinnati location was good like the one in Louisville. Between four adults and 1 child, we ordered different items. I love coming here for the Mr. Potato Head Casserole. It consist of Hasbrown potatoes baked with sour cream, diced onions, spices and cheddar-jack cheese. Topped with breakfast sausage, diced tomatoes, poblano peppers, roasted mushrooms, queso fundido and an egg your way. Instead of breakfast sausage I get chorizo. This dish is my favorite and I love all of the flavors. It's like you get all the breakfast foods in one dish. The cherry on top is the poached egg I get. Amazing! Other dishes that were ordered were French Toast, Waffles, Eggs, Omelet and the Kid's Yummy in My Tummy. The Waffle was very good. My husband and I ordered a waffle and shared it. It was cooked to the perfect golden brown, and it wasn't to sweet. It also was not dry, it was perfect. The French toast was also good. The dishes were all yummy!
