Went here for a late-ish lunch around 1:00pm on Thursday. There was no wait time which was perfect. There are a few entrances but I used the one in the Great American Tower. This entrance is a little weird as it's actually on the side of the restaurant. Once you enter, you have to go to be host table which is not far away. Follow the signs and you're good to go. Food was great and the coffee my friend ordered could serve 3+ cups. They even gave us some to-go cups so it wouldn't be wasted. I ordered a build-your-own omelette with bacon, chorizo, chicken, and pepperjack cheese. It came with seasoned potatoes on the side too. Food was great and no wait time is a huge plus. read more

The food here is absolutely delicious. I'd give 5 stars by the wait after ordering is a bit long. The waiter was very polite and seated us promptly. We enjoyed a pitcher of ice water as we looked over the menu. We ordered fresh squeezed orange juice- and while I really loved the flavor it was served at room temperature. Warm juice is really hard for me to drink. Luckily, I grabbed some ice from the water pitcher and was easily able to cool my juice to a tolerable temperature. Very delicious and fresh tasting! The smell of the juice was almost as if you'd been picking the oranges from the trees and eating them right then. So nice. I grabbed biscuits and gravy and a medium fried egg. The egg was cooked perfectly, yellow runny but the white all the way done. No better egg! It came unseasoned, I do like my salt and pepper added when in the pan, but that was easily added at the table with the shakers. The gravy was rich and thick. Super tasty with lots of flavor- the menu said it was made with chorizo so I expected a spicy taste. It wasn't spicy? It was just right. The biscuits were good! They were soft and easy to cut with a fork. The presentation was delightful! The waiter had fresh ground pepper for the top, always add the pepper! I do wish there would have been more gravy, after eating on biscuit the plate was a bit dry and didn't have enough to eat the other biscuit. My husband grabbed the southwest omelet with bacon added into it and it was served with potatoes and a muffin. We took the muffin to go and still haven't eaten it. The potatoes came out cold. They were good and had a nice flavor and texture, but they were not warm in the slightest. His omelet was good, as evidenced by the empty plate. My oldest son grabbed the stack of pancakes with a side of bacon. The pancakes were huge, the size of the plate and there were three. Sprinkled with powder sugar and a dollop of butter. He might have made his way through 1/3 of the pancakes before bowing out. It was just way too much. We do wish there'd have been a way to order just a single pancake. He is 11 and the kids menu was for 10 and under. My youngest son, my big eater grabbed two kids meals. The pancakes and then a plate with toast, scrambled egg, fruit cup, a piece of bacon, and a piece of sausage. He ate about half the pancakes, these were much smaller but still a large amount, it had two pancakes. He loved the sausage and the bacon, and he said the scrambled eggs were the best he's ever eaten. The fruit cup was his favorite, it was filled with lots of fresh fruit varieties- pineapple, oranges, honeydew melon, grapes, and kiwi. This Wild Eggs is now our favorite. In their defense, however, they were out of their regular biscuits and had to opt for another source. They comped our meal. They didn't have to do that but it was appreciated. I'm glad my friend and I decided to stop here for breakfast on our way out of town. The staff were friendly and very attentive from the moment we walked in. The interior is clean, opening and welcoming. The menu has a lot of sweet and savory items to offer. They also have a coffee bar and cocktails. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla (stuffed with a generous 4 eggs, 3 meats, onions, peppers, cheese and served with sour cream, guacamole and salsa) and coffee. My quesadilla was so overflowing with goodness that I couldn't even finish it. Our waiter would refill our waters and coffee even though he had left pitchers on the table and also went so far as to offer us coffees to go on our way out. Overall I thought it was a great breakfast spot though just a tad on the pricey side. I'd recommended Wild Eggs, especially for a sunny early morning start. read more

FIRST IMPRESSIONS - Considering the hype, I thought the restaurant vibe and decor would be more upbeat and original. It was plain as heck. But in order to not judge a book by its cover, kept an open mind. Was seated on outdoor quiet and private patio by super friendly hosts, and greeted with a pitcher of water with a wedge of lemon. DRINK ORDER - Ordered an iced latte with hazelnut. Server came back to inform us they had no traditional coffee flavorings. I found this somewhat annoying as it's a breakfast location and I thought the coffee options should be more diverse. I went with the iced latte order anyway only to find out that it tasted like some over-sweetened coffee mix drink that had been poured into a glass. Coffee experience gets 1 star. FOOD ORDER - I ordered the Kelsey "KY" Brown and my boyfriend ordered the Country Fried Steak & Eggs. Hell froze over, then we received our food. The food was extremely hot which is totally fine as you know it's been recently cooked and fresh. THE FOOD WAS AMAZEBALLS. The only thing I would change, if it matters to anyone, is the aesthetics of the dish could have used more color. But hardly a priority. Good food is good food. I'll still give it 5 stars. STAFF - My final comment would be about the staff. Though the hosts were super friendly, the serving staff seemed awkward. Our server in particular didn't walk us through the menu, lacked personality, and seemed all too eager to get us out of there. I understand when you're ready for a shift to be over, but fake it until you make tip (I think I shall trademark this term...you're welcome). I will give them credit that our drinks were never empty...though the true credit could really go to the water pitcher left available on the table. Staff gets 3 stars. Quick service and fresh, hot food. I ordered the BLT with avovado & egg and a side of breakfast potatoes and a virgin bloody mary (it's a Tuesday morning)...The sandwich was good, my only complaint is they use shredded lettuce, which I'm nor a huge fan of on sandwiches, plus it makes it messy and the avocado was dismal. It was sliced too thick to be on a sandwich, it was brown, it was hard and actually tasteless. The potatoes and bloody mary were on point though. They offer waffles, bacon, sausage, various kinds of eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy, breakfast nachos, omelets, and on and on. We arrived at 11:30 on Monday morning and were quickly seated. However, by 11:45 there were several people in line waiting. The Food: We had five in our party. 1) Strawberry pancakes...five fluffy pancakes doused with strawberries. Delicious. Enough to feed two people. 2) Waffle with chocolate chips...about what you'd expect. Large with a few chocolate chips on top. 3) Yellow Sub...Eggs, tomato, bacon, ham, tomatoes, cheese, and onion all on a sub. It came to the table at about room temperature. Served with chips. 4) Eggs Benedict...your traditional eggs bennie. Again, barely warm when it arrived. 5) Salmon Benedict...salmon, eggs, yummy. 6) We also ordered the Cinnamon Roll served in a skillet. This was the highlight of our breakfast. Covered and oozing in icing and so warm it melted in our mouths. The Service: Our server, Deborah, was professional, polite, and very friendly. When our food was served we were missing the strawberry pancakes. 7-8 minutes later they finally arrived. When the bill arrived, Deborah stated that they took the pancakes off since they were late arriving at the table. A minute later the manager came over and apologized for the late cakes. I was impressed. Seldom, if ever, will a restaurant comp a meal when the customer hasn't complained. Overall: The food was above average but nothing spectacular. The service was outstanding. It did seem though that the kitchen was struggling the morning we were there. Some of our meals were barely warm and the pancakes arrived late. I also that the table next to us waited for over 30 minutes for their food to arrive. The manager attended to them but it didn't seem to speed anything up. Give them a try but don't expect to be wowed. Ordinarily, I'd give them three stars but because of the comped cakes, I'm giving them four. read more

I am partial to hot and spicy foods so I assured her that it would be fine. Imagine my surprise when she brings out a chicken and waffle with bacon sprinkled on top. Mind you.... the chicken is dry as hell. Uh.... ma'am.... excuse me... what happened to the sauce. She told me that the cook did not make the sauce that goes on the chicken, but she can give me some Franks Hot sauce if I'd like. Uh... okay... I obliged but I would have rather known that BEFORE she brought the food and I could have ordered something else. So I ended up eating an under seasoned piece of chicken breast and a waffle. I had a really good lunch with coworkers at Wild Eggs. We went at about 12:30 and were seated right away. Our waiter was very friendly and stopped by to check on us regularly and keep our drinks filled. There are many appetizing dishes on the menu and I decided on the Farmers Market Skillet and a cup of coffee. It was a small skillet stuffed with roasted potatoes and vegetables and topped with 2 eggs. It was really good. Since I filled my belly eating all of the skillet, I took the everything muffin back to my office and ate it later that afternoon even though I wasn't really hungry. It was also very good. My coworkers also raved about their meals - the Mr. Potato Head Casserole and the Breakfast Nachos with shredded chicken. They looked very tempting but I did not snatch a taste. We wanted somewhere that had gluten-free options and my husband was very excited that they had gluten free French toast because he hasn't been able to order that at a restaurant in a long time. Between all of us we ordered the Apple Bourbon crepes, grits of the Day, strawberry pancakes, bacon and eggs, gluten-free French toast, and because we'd never tried it before we ordered the goetta, which is original dish that is a must try if you like sausage. I honestly wish I was back in Cincinnati so I could eat at Wild Eggs again. It is by far my favourite breakfast in the area. We got an order of biscuits and gravy to share. You have the option of white bacon gravy or chorizo gravy. We went with chorizo because we wanted to try something different. The biscuit was flaky and moist and the chorizo added a nice bit of spice. I had the mister potato head casserole and it was SO GOOD. I'm dreaming about it now. We decided to try this spot out Valentine's Day weekend. It was a nice place, staff was friendly. But it took forever to get our food, I started noticing other tables receiving the wrong food order. So I assumed they were very backed up or new. We got our food and It all looked so delicious. Surprised that the chicken wasn't fried, you think chicken and waffles and picture fried piece of chicken with a waffle. It was beyond spicy. Unable to eat it and the worst part about it they put that same seasoning in the waffle mix. My husband ate it. But he did agree it was spicy (he eats spicy food) he said it cleared his sinuses lol the butter was nice touch of sweetness to it. And the broccoli cheese grits were bland, they have potential. My boyfriend and I went here for brunch for his birthday and it was a great choice. They have a large selection of food and drink options, but what makes this place special is the staff, mainly our waitress. They were busting their butts but also seemed like she enjoyed her job. It was also nice to hear the table next to us tell the manager how much he enjoyed his breakfast and the restaurant as a whole.
