Always been a fan of Wild Eggs but hadn't been in a while, so was looking forward to my birthday brunch with my wife and another couple after church. We got on the waitlist and were seated quickly. Four of us shared the cinnamon roll served in a cast iron skillet, which was tasty. My wife ordered the club sandwich and enjoyed it. However, I was really disappointed in The Mad Platter - I ordered it with scrambled eggs, then immediately changed to over-medium, and the server said she submitted the order on her handheld device too quickly, but she would go back to the kitchen and make sure they got the correction. Well, the eggs came out scrambled and the server never acknowledged they weren't over medium. Not a big deal, but these were way overcooked and rubbery, and the bacon and potatoes appeared and tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. Pancake was good, however. They were very busy, so you would think food would be constantly being prepared and not sitting around, but apparently it was. First time I've ever questioned whether I'll give them another try or stick to First Watch from now on. read more

You cannot go wrong with a breakfast date here! It gets very busy so I enjoy sitting at the bar if it's just me or me + 1! The bartenders are so nice, attentive and you can order right there. I am basic and I get the i am Zax- scrambled eggs, breakfast tots (god send- try them iykyk) and the blueberry muffin. Mimosas are made w fresh squeezed OJ & perfection. On 11/8/25 Swan Pointe HOA took 14 Residents to Wild Eggs in Middletown for Brunch. Our servers today were Kimberly Z and Carolina C. These servers did a fantastic job taking our drink requests and getting them to the correct guests and then they came around and took our orders. Their menu has such a great variety that it took a while for me to decide but my husband knew exactly what he wanted to have. They were only going to have the Pumpkin Pancakes for a few more days. Many had French Toast, Make Your Own Omelets, I chose Eggs Bennie and Fruit. The food came out pretty quickly and I loved how Kimberly knew exactly who got each plate. Carolina came by and checked on us so often. These 2 girls made a great team. There were a couple of guys that helped out but I didn't get their names. We had a great time talking to our friends and the restaurant's volume was low enough that we could talk to our friends. I really hated to leave. Ally is the GM and We want you to know that the staff was unbeatable! And that: The food was great. The servers were great. The ambiance was great. Very kind and attentive staff and fast service, even though they were super busy! Great for a casual brunch. Everything we ordered was delicious, flavorful, and very filling. Very reasonable pricing. Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict was delicious on cheddar corn cakes, and some of the best chorizo I've had. The skillet potatoes were so crispy. The Potato Head Casserole and Carolina Casserole were both excellent, although I personally preferred the Potato Head. The muffins that came on the side were warm, fresh, and probably the fluffiest, softest muffins I've had. read more

I woke up wanting oatmeal and the first spot that crossed my mind was Wild Eggs. They have the ultimate oatmeal ensemble. When I say an ensemble it truly is an ensemble. Not only do you get a warm hearty bowl of oatmeal you get three choices of accompaniments. I chose brown sugar, candied pecans and strawberries. The serving size is large enough for me to eat on a couple times so that is a plus for me! The staff are always so friendly and the service was great. Added entertainment was listening to the table of men talking about the Caribbean across from me. That was a trip! It had been awhile since I had visited Wild Eggs but when I want the best oatmeal I know where to come. You can't beat the service at Wild Eggs. They're always so polite and efficient. UPDATE 9/22 : The manager who was so amazing and made me a dairy free waffle is gone. The new manager wouldn't even consider it and wasn't helpful at all. So, that sucks. Docked 1 star for that. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff, the food, the atmosphere, all of it. I currently have to do no dairy due to a dairy allergy and most places would have basically just said too bad if something I wanted had dairy BUT NOT HERE The waitress made sure to tell the kitchen I was dairy free AND THEN The manager literally made me a waffle that was dairy free. We ordered a to go order, which we have never done, so this was our first and last time for trying this. We ordered at 9:53 and told in 20-25 minutes the order would be complete. Mind you, we only ordered two of their standard breakfast items, nothing fancy. We left home and arrived 20 minutes later. My wife walked in and texted me saying the restaurant was only half full, so it should be quick. She checked in at the hostess stand and they told her the food was ready and only needed to be boxed up. So she sat and waited 24 minutes for the food to come out. We were planning on having a picnic at a park nearby to enjoy the beautiful day outside. Well, we had to go home to warm up our, warm at best food, with soggy muffins. It was clear the food was done and sat for the 24 minutes in the containers. When you spend that kind of money for breakfast l, one would expect it to be correct, taste good, and prompt service. The food was correct and tasted good. Very frustrated that they force you to tip first before the service is complete. Had this not been the case, the tip would have reflected the service we were given. We have eaten here a bunch, and there are times when it is busy and service lags, but never this bad. I was sent an online, text message survey, the response I got was, "Hello Joseph, this is Ally from Wild Eggs. Thank you for sharing your experience. We're sorry to hear about the delay and the condition of your order. Your feedback is important and will help us improve our service. The food was quality, my steel cut oatmeal was so perfect and the blueberries were so fresh. My son loved the Mad Platter, the bacon was crispy and the sausage links delicious! The pankcake was also "fire",as my teen says. Service was also friendly and efficient. We will be back! read more

As we approached the front doors there were 3 employees standing behind the desk. It was quite evident that we could have used some assistance getting through the doors as I am currently in a wheelchair. NOT ONE EMPLOYEE THAT WAS JUST STANDING THERE OFFERED ASSISTANCE. The food was amazing! The service not so much. We were told 10-15 minute wait. After about 45 minutes we went up to hostesses to be told they had been trying to call us but they had wrote down the wrong number. We had been waiting literally 5 feet away. Then they give us a new waitress. They had thrown her to the wolves. Busy Sunday with no guidance. Just to get drinks took forever. We had to ask her to take our order. For Mother's Day this year, we decided to go ahead and make brunch reservations at Wild Eggs on Saturday before Mother's Day. We were driving in from 4 hours away to see my Mother-in-law and thought we would make things easy by making a reservation. We have 3 small kids so reservations is always our best option, especially on a busy Holiday weekend. I did have to call and change our reservation from 7 people to 10 people but they said it would be no problem. When we got to the restaurant at 10:30 for our reservation time, they told us that even with our reservations it would still be at least an hour wait. I was confused because I had made a previous reservation. We obviously couldn't wait an hour on just a chance our table would be ready. We were all disappointed in this situation because this put us in the exact spot we were trying to avoid. We understand it was a busy weekend, but if they were not going to have enough tables, I wish they could have just told us no when we made the reservation prior to Saturday. Wild eggs is a good little breakfast diner that has good breakfast food and is quite busy during meal's in the morning especially. It's been remodeled and has some tables on the side and some more private areas to sit if getting there early. read more

Can we say breakfast perfection? Wild Eggs has nailed breakfast perfection! Admittedly I was a bit skeptical as I am not a fan of breakfast restaurants with large menus. I am skeptical about their ability to prepare each dish with attention and detail. We went on a weekday to avoid the weekend lines and were seated immediately. The restaurant was buzzing with customers at 10: 00, but we were seated immediately. Our server was very friendly and extremely patient with our numerous questions and requests. When I commented that a 4-egg omelet was too much for me and hubby didn't want to split an entree, she kindly offered that half order was doable. When I was unable to have the potato side, I was immediately offered seasonal fruit. The menu is large and there is certainly something for everybody (pancakes, eggs prepared every way one can image, breakfast burritos, avocado toast, oatmeal, breakfast casserole, hamburgers, chicken salad, and of course some 'spirited' beverages!). My husband's and my breakfasts were prepared perfectly and were delicious. I scoped out the breakfasts of persons at nearby tables and they looked equally delicious! My Southwest steak and cheese omelet was absolutely perfect. The peppers and onions were not too soggy nor too crunchy, and the steak was cooked but not chewy. I opted for iced tea instead of coffee and it was delicious, it did not have the funky 'off' taste that one sometimes get with restaurant tea that has been sitting too long. My husband ordered coffee and a was given a carafe for topping off and keeping warm. Our server stopped by often enough for needs, but without being overly intrusive. The restrooms were clean and well-stocked, and parking is plentiful as the restaurant is located in a small strip mall. I'm sure we will be frequent flyers! read more

My teen and I had a fantastic breakfast at Wild Eggs! Up early for an appointment we decided to celebrate a small personal victory and this spot was nearby. I checked the waitlist (no wait) but also had the option to book a reservation. We drove over and were seated within 5 minutes. Our server was so friendly. She brought us out waters with a pitcher to keep at the table, then took our order. Throughout the meal she provided the balance of checking in and leaving us to sit and enjoy conversation. She also put in a to go order for pancakes which times perfectly with paying for our meal. We loved loved loved our Big Stack. Wild Eggs has the best pancakes. Fluffy, filling and the right amount of sweetness. We also ordered the biscuits and gravy with both types of gravy, bacon and chorizo. We both preferred the bacon. Nice to share and we took half home, but we'd likely pass on ordering it again. Biscuits were hard on sides, not our favorite because we like them light and fluffy. Payment easily made by card at the table. Private parking lot shared with other businesses and it offers plenty of room. Waiting area plus patio tables during warmer weather. Busy restaurant but plexiglass between booths and tables reasonably spaced. Bar area is elbow to elbow though. Great overall experience and food, already looking forward to another visit. read more

Visited April 2023 - Warm greetings, no wait for parking or a table. Charlie was our server. Super delightful and knowledgeable of the menu. I was surprised with the portions. We left with a full tummy and take out containers. Because it was the last day of vacation, I went a little over in my choices I did coffee and a mimosa. However, the prices are manageable and won't dent your pockets too much. The quality of the food and customer service is so worth it. Food- overall tasty, fresh eggs and everything was cooked properly. Mimosa- definitely a good option and I like that you have multiple flavor options. Again I was impressed with the portions. I loved it so much I had to make sure I came back! This is a great breakfast spot where you get good food but you're it breaking the bank. You can customize orders whether it be the way you like your eggs, how many and even doing a half order. I got the stuffed French toast which had a delicious cream cheese filling and then berries in between and garnished as well. On the side I got crispy bacon (always) and then one egg scrambled with cheese. To drink on the first round, the cupcake latte was highly suggested and for my dessert I got the pomegranate mimosa, which was better than I expected. Not too tart, and the orange juice was fresh. I enjoy going to wild eggs. The staff are always usually very friendly and helpful in the food is always good. I don't know if I would say I've had anything there. That is absolutely outstanding, but I have had some really good dishes there. The buffalo chicken omelette is my favorite dish along with the skillet potatoes. I wish the coffee was a little stronger, I feel like it's pretty watered down, but that would probably be my only knock on the menu. Some of the drink prices are pretty high, but that standard with breakfast locations. I've never. noticed anything unclean, so I do think they keep up with cleanliness pretty well, which is always appreciated. read more

I had the creole omelette and had to try the Kelsey KY Brown. I haven't had a hot brown in 20+ years and this blew my mind! This was amazing and would happily be back if I lived closer.
