Great place! Of course there are negative reviews but maybe some people just had a different experience than me. Ate inside with my girlfriend - I ordered Hibachi chicken and she got Seafood Ramen and a Tokoyo roll to share. Both meals were good and at decent prices as well. Our bill was $55ish with 2 sodas and all the food mentioned above. Big quantities. Server came by probably 4-5 times during our 45 or so minutes there so we never ran short of anything. I had the red curry with tofu and white rice; always a safe choice as a lactose free vegetarian. The food was served hot and tasty and came with a side salad and a broth (not vegetarian I think). I did need hot sauce with it and it took a while to get the attention of the waiter, who didn't come to check on us. A good clean restaurant that deserves 4 stars imo. What surprised me was that the attention paid to the restroom wasn't nearly as good as to the restaurant itself. For years my family and I have been coming to this location and the food and service was consistently good. Went back yesterday and we ordered the chicken hibachi and the steak hibachi. The meats on both of these were not what we expected. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium well and it was just pieces of overcooked dried meat. The same goes for the chicken on my husband's plate. Our waiter left a lot to be desired. Not once did he come over to ask how our food was or if we needed anything. Our soft drinks tasted like they came out of an old tin can. At the end I asked for a different drink to go and that one was worse than the previous ones. I don't know what has happened to this restaurant but I don't think we will be coming back again due to the poor quality of the food and service. Their sister restaurant in Palm Coast is terrible in every way also. I don't get the feeling that they care about their customers. read more

I went here with my family as we were around Tanger outlets, and we've been here before so we knew this place was good. I decided to get the sashimi deluxe for myself as I was craving the raw fish. I do regret this choice as I suffered consequences later on - I think this dish is more to share haha. It was delicious but a bad choice by me. My parents enjoyed their dishes, and I can confirm it was tasty after taking bites out of theirs. I think next time I will save myself by going for the special rolls. My wife got two sushi rolls and I ordered noodles but they messed up and gave me fried rice. The customer service was good and the restaurant looked nice and clean inside. My neice ordered some crab Rangoon which nobody was able to eat. It was yellow on the inside which was rather odd. We have never seen a yellow crab Rangoon stuffing before. On my second visit, the table ordered: Tonkotsu Ramen - nice portion but the flavor was not as complex as I like. Chicken Friend Rice - decent but nothing that would keep my coming back for more General Tso's Chicken - disappointing, more breading than chicken, too much sauce, coating was soggy, and served at room temperature. This is one of my go to local restaurants here in Daytona Beach. One thing I can count on in this restaurant is it's consistency. If it's a really good dish it will stay that way and if it's a lacking one; it will also stay that way. When you first walk in you will be greeted by the beautiful art work on the wall (angel wings) and be amazed by the interior inside. It gives off a modern art vibe all around. It is a small restaurant so don't expect them to be able to accommodate a whole family reunion especially on their busy days. Now to the food. I have tried some of their dishes before and have to say that their tonkotsu ramen is more of a watered down version of its name as well as their curry dishes. But their kimchi steak ramen is simply delicious. Out of all the ramen on their menu, this one is my favorite. Packed with colorful flavors such as kimchi, boiled soy sauce egg and steak! As for their appetizers you can't go wrong with their crab rangoon and shumai (shrimp). Their sushi is also amazing but I didn't order any this time around. I absolutely love this place. First time trying it an will definitely be back for more. I love the decor an they have quite a few places to sit. The have a great lunch menu with huge portions, I can't imagine what a regular portion would be as I couldn't finish the lunch. The sushi was also great which was a pleasant surprise as I love sushi. The service was spot on an we never lacked for anything. She also even gave us suggestions as it was our first time there. I had the general's Tao chicken which was very good. We also had kung pow chicken an Mongolian chicken which were equally as good. We had a California roll an an avacado roll. Will have to try the tuna next time for sure. I was so excited to review this new addition to Daytona Beach and it did NOT disappoint! Walking in to the restaurant, you see a large illuminated and colorful display of angel wings. The hostess and staff were very attentive and eager to greet us. Gray leather chairs and booths looked clean and were highlighted by blue lit displays on the wall. Beautiful wood tables were set with cloth napkins. Very tastefully decorated. The bathrooms were clean and well lit, as well. All of the patrons looked satisfied with their food and it all looked fantastic! The food presentations that we saw being delivered were so impressive! I have been waiting for Daytona Beach to catch on to the Poke craze that has been sweeping the nation. This night, I found what I had been missing! It was fresh. It was full of flavor. Ramen: hands down one of the BEST ramen I have ever eaten. My husband and I usually go to Orlando but our normal spot closed down and we haven't been able to find a new ramen place but now we have! The noodles do not taste like packaged ramen. Broth is full of flavor. Great portion! I didn't try the Poke bowl but my dad said it was good - they just didn't have the sauce that usually comes with a Poke bowl so it was missing a little flavor. Pad Thai - my mom only goes to one place for pad Thai but she said this place beats her one place. It was DELICIOUS. Their pad Thai was not on the sweet side (which we prefer). It was just a perfect balance! And the serving size was huge. (My husband ended up driving 30 minutes the next day just to pick up some pad Thai.) (As you can see, I tried everyone's meal... lol). I ordered a spicy salmon hand roll and another specialty roll (I can't remember the name but I posted a picture).
