Outstanding Asian food! My wife and I came in for dinner and were very happy across the board. The service was top notch, the food was as well and the restaurant is clean and not overly crowded. I don't often eat sushi but shared some as an appetizer with my wife and thought it was very good. That's a big deal for me to admit that I actually liked it, but it seems like a testament that they're doing something right! My meal was hibachi steak and shrimp and the portion size was very large. So much that I had to take some home with me, which is a rarity. My wife had a meal she very much enjoyed and also brought some home for another day. We both loved it and would highly recommend. Amazing service, amazing food. My sister and I tried this on a whim after a craving of ramen hit and it was probably the best decision we've ever made. We were waiting maybe two minutes until our waitress came over and she apologized for the wait, which was no wait at all really. We ordered an appetizer of egg rolls which were perfectly crispy but not too burn-your-mouth hot. For entrees we got the pork ramen and seafood ramen. I ordered my pork ramen spicy and the waitress asked me twice if it was spicy enough for me and it was! When she took our bowls to pack them to go (bc it was a LOT of food) she noticed my sister picked the mussels out. Nothing on their part, she just realized she didn't like mussels. Seeing this, our waitress said she'd put in more shrimp instead! Dessert was chocolate and strawberry mochi, absolutely delicious! Though I prefer strawberry over the chocolate. He forgot that oriental spicy is a whole different level from Mexican spicy He loved it though and wants to try more of their rolls. The seafood Ramen he got was awesome, full of seafood, noodles, bean sprouts and flavor flavor flavor I went with a grilled shrimp poke bowl with avocado, cucumber, red onion, crab salad, and cilantro over sushi rice. I had a taste for Asian food and came across this restaurant. Being the wife of a soldier, I have lived in many places including Alaska, Washington State, Washington DC, California, Nevada, Texas, Maryland, Kentucky, South Carolina, Georgia Virginia, New Jersey, and New York. I have developed a taste for good food and constantly comparing to the many other places I've lived. My best place in the US to eat, hands down Baltimore/Washington DC. We are currently retired here in Florida. I've been to 3 cities, Tampa, Orlando, and Miami. Unfortunately, I'm not impressed with any of the food here in Florida. My children suggest I go to some of these mom-and-pop restaurants. Unfortunately, these restaurants are owned and run by retirees. The food is not great at all. Some have unusual hours of operation. One restaurant I tried to go to was only open one day a week. This restaurant I went to while visiting my niece was in Daytona FL. Was mediocre, to say the least. I read the reviews and some people said the scallops were delicious. I tried to order to go and asked her about the scallops. They offered it in an all-la-cart with soup, rice, and vegetables as a lunch menu. It was a bit much for me. So I ordered the fried lobster from the appetizers section. And from the Kid's menu, I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. The fried lobster was just ok but appeared freshly cooked. There was very little overcooked lobster in it and lots of skin left on the lobster. The sweet and sour chicken was mixed with old and fresh pieces of chicken. I could very clearly tell the old pieces of chicken. The breading was a lot darker and the chicken was hard, tough, and discolored. Couldn't chew those pieces. The rice was dry, stiff, and very old. Small pieces of eggs in the rice were no longer yellow, they had turned brown. If the lobster had more meat, not overcooked, and less skin I WOULD RETURN. As with every struggling restaurant, the prices had increased substantially compared to the prices listed on the internet. Just a word of advice restaurant, if you want people to return and keep returning, I suggest you serve better fresher food. I don't mind paying a little extra for quality food. read more

A friend recommended this place to us. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a great Japanese place in Daytona Beach. We got the Miso Ramen (5/5) and Veggie Ramen (5/5). Both were great, especially the broth was amazing. The red curry (4.5/5) was also great and the Tofu in the curry was very soft. The veggie sushi was also good. This place has never disappointed! This is on our list of local restaurants we come to regularly because it is consistently good. I like to order the Vegan ramen and add broccoli to it. We finally got to try this place. We've wanted to since they opened. We ordered to go. I ordered at the restaurant, just to check it out. Everything was clean. A few customers were eating in. Orders were ready for pick up at a table near the hostess, cashier. I placed my order of General TSO chicken, Shrimp fried rice, a Dragon Roll and a Spicy Roll. A soup came with the order. I got to the house and opened everything up. It smelled wonderful. The flavor and everything was really good. My wife is way pickier than I am and she loved everything. I think we found our go to. Between my boyfriend and I we have eaten from 4 times within the past 5 days . The staff is friendly the ambience and decor or the restaurant is very nice and gives a high end feel to the restaurant. We have tried the spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura, avocado (got the wrong order but they were very nice and refunded me the difference and gave me a credit for the roll I actually ordered) and the General Tsos Chicken.
