The use of leaner meats like turkey and white-meat chicken is appreciated. For diabetes it is great to have food that is not sweetened with sugar and slower-digesting basmati rice that does not spike blood glucose the way polished white rice does. Ten meals per week do get consumed, so having them fresh not frozen and completely without preservatives never becomes an issue. The green smoothies combining spinach, chunks of pineapple, a little coconut, and mint add fiber in drinkable form. Everything is great! I also had a Manhattan Special Black Cherry soda, also super yummy. My mistake, not realizing what I was doing, was to order "whole" vs "half" sandwiches. The whole are footlong. I ate the entire sandwich, holy moly! My wife brought half home. Next time I would probably order a half. The owner, who I will call Guiseppe, had the heavy East Coast accent, and checked on all of his customers, making sure they were happy and satisfied. This place is a little gem. It was the only thing on the truck. The tile company sent out replacement, and today instead of my scheduled delivery i get a message from them with excuse why didn't deliver and also that the shipment appears to be broken. Seriously, how does a company stay in operation like this? It's not the tile co.panys fault and now they've sent out more tile they lost money on. Diamond needs to change their name to Disaster Lines.
