We came here for lunch. It was so cold inside the restaurant that I kept my winter coat on. Overall, the pizza was pretty good but overpriced. Our server was friendly but never gave my water a refill.

Fun Guy Pizza (gluten free)

This is THE place to get your pizza in door county. Originally sat outside but I was seated at the only table without an umbrella so I moved to the small inside bar area instead after the drizzling started. Andrew and CJ were my servers. They were great and accommodating. Order: I ordered the gfree fun guy pizza alongside a Greek salad. The salad was perfect and HUGE. And the flavors of the fun guy did not disappoint...white garlic sauce, spinach and 5 types of mushrooms. Yay! Lots of food means lots of leftovers. This place is a favorite and also allows for takeout but you need to go to the back of the restaurant - there's a certain area for to go orders. It's on the far end of Fish Creek so parking usually isn't a problem...it's right by the entrance to Peninsula state park. Ciao!

Hot Honey pizza with pepperoni, goat cheese, red onions and added jalapeños

I dined on a wonderful pizza and a small Greek salad on the patio for lunch at Wild Tomato at Fish Harbor while on vacation in Door County. Service was quick and the food brought out promptly. My Hot Honey pepperoni wood fired pizza was on point with the ingredients especially the goat cheese jalapeños I had added as well. The small Greek salad was a perfect app for my pizza. Nice restaurant and deck but my only dislike was the men's bathroom door lock was broke and needs fixing.

Best wood fire pizza ever!

Happy and competent server- Andrew- and DELICIOUS pizza served hot and quickly. We ate outside on a chilly night, but the patio heaters were WONDERFUL! We come here once/year and love it more every time we dine here.

It came highly recommended by all the locals and every time we passed by it there were cars in the parking lot. We arrived around 2 or 3 o'clock in the afternoon for a late lunch and there was already a pretty good crowd. The weather was really nice so we chose a table outside. The waitress was super friendly and brought us menus and our drinks right away. You can't visit Wisconsin and not try Wisconsin Cheese curds so of course we got an order of them to start us off. These were great! We also ordered the Spinach and Artichoke bread. I loved that everything on their menu could be made gluten free. I got to enjoy it on gluten free bread. And it was good bread too! The dip was amazing. It was like no other spinach and artichoke dip I've ever tried. It had tomatoes in it and was so good. By the time I had finished my appetizers I didn't think I could eat anything else. That was until my burger arrived. I ordered the Cowboy Burger (Organic grass fed beef, cheddar, bacon, onion strings and a side of BBQ sauce) with a side of vegetables and hummus. Their hummus was so good and the burger was fantastic. Everyone was thrilled with their choices and none of us could finish everything we ordered. They're actually known for their fire grilled pizza. None of us actually ordered pizza, but the pizza I saw come out of the kitchen looked really good. I'm definitely up for going back and trying the pizza!

I was really surprised at how well I liked the pizza. I wasn't really expecting much when my friend suggested it but it was delicious. We ordered a D-Lux and some parmesan knots, and I was quite happy with the meal. The kids seemed to enjoy the parmesan knots too. We ordered to go and luckily I found a parking spot--the place was busy! They have indoor and outdoor seating here. A great choice for a dinner if you're looking to please everyone.

Cheers! Hibiscus Lemonade and Sangria.

Wild Tomato is a popular restaurant amongst tourists and so, of course, I had to take my friend there for our Door County girls trip! We got to the restaurant around 2PM on a Thursday and were seated right away. (Last time I went to Wild Tomato, I waited over 40 minutes before being seated.) Our waiter was very friendly and he provided fast service. To start, we both ordered cocktails- the Hibiscus Lemonade and the Sangria, both were tasty and refreshing. For an appetizer, we ordered the Greek Salad and it was big enough to share between the two of us girls. It was delicious and just what I expected for a well-made Greek salad (I love pepperoncini). For dinner, we shared a small Paisano pizza and it was amazing and really flavorful. I loved the pesto and soppressata. My only complaint is that there were multiple small, black hairs on the slices my friend ate. I was grossed out when she discovered them but the pizza was too good, so we both continued to finish it. The small was big enough for two.

Truly some of the best pizza in the state of Wisconsin! The green & gold with the cheese curds on top is the BOMB! A must-have in Door County!

The Wild Tomato is a childhood favorite restaurant of mine and I got to show it to my fiancé on our first trip to Door County together. The pizza is still great, and they have some of the best cheddar cheese curds in Wisconsin. Decent service and their newer outdoor seating area looked very nice as well.

best pizza out here! we ordered the Mediterranean. 1 out of 2 of our toddlers enjoyed it. if your kid loves generic pizza, don't take them. as a delta we surely enjoyed the food. the music was great old school music to quietly jam to! it is a busy place but impressive how 2 employees cleared out the waiting line! we had a 10 minute wait for a table and then served within 10 minutes or so. Definitely a spot to eat if you're in the area! Try it for yourself!!

Margherita pizza, yum

Delicious Margherita pizza. Kid says 5 stars best pizza ever. Delicious! Friendly service. Nicely answered same questions from multiple people. Just know to bundle up when it's super cold because it gets chilly inside! They will hopefully have that fixed up next winter. We'll be back!

I created my own pizza. Small Sausage, onion & mushroom. The crust was slightly burnt, but that was ok by me.

We visited Inland at the recommendation of a colleague--and we were not sorry! In the past, we…read morealways visited a different local pizza place (not in Bailey's Harbor), but we need a change--and this was a really great change! They do not take reservations, but since we were there a full week before the 4th, we were able to get a table pretty quickly--even on a Saturday night. They have seating both outside and in--but it was chilly, so we sat inside. The dining room is light and bright, and one can see the water, though, it is an obstructed view--and really, were were there for the pizza. We first ordered the Simple Salad. The salad is really simple, but oh.my.god--the lemon parm dressing was SO GOOD--and I'm not so much a throw-a-ton-of-dressing-on-my-salad kind of person. We had leftover dressing and we took it back to cottage where we stay ("home" for the week). Our server also wrote down the ingredients so I can try and replicate it at home (the actual place where we live). We ordered the organic red sauce + mozzarella pizza and added roasted oyster mushrooms on half and castelvetrano olives on the whole thing. I mention this only because they didn't blink at all with our requests. In fact, they were great about that sort of thing. The first glass wine my server suggested I order, I didn't care for. She just got me a different glass of wine--and that was what we were charged for. More about that pizza--it was SO good. The olives added a nice salt, mushrooms were just perfect in that they provided that sort of meaty, non-meaty taste. Oh, and the crust--good god it was good. Not too thick or thin, dusted a bit with cornmeal on the bottom, light, but good chew. It was just perfect. Oh, and the water dispenser--on the bar, one serves themselves from a tap. They have three different kinds of water--still, sparkling, and one other that I cannot remember. Love that. The services was also, as I mention above, really attentive, but not pushy at all. I only have one suggestion for them. Many of the pizzas have sausage on them. We don't eat pork (not kosher, just appreciate the fact that they're smarter than the dog). It would be nice to have chicken as an option. We definitely visit them again when we're in Door Country again.

I visited this past weekend over the 4th and unfortunately had a really concerning experience with…read morewhat was supposed to be a gluten-free meal. I ordered the gluten-free Rosso pizza and specifically confirmed with my server that I was gluten free. At one point, the kitchen initially brought over my pizza, and when I double checked, they told me it was NOT gluten free. Their team then took it back to the kitchen to remake with a gluten free crust. After that, my dad and fiancé received their regular pizzas while mine took another 30 or so minutes to come out. They eventually stopped eating so I wouldn't have to eat my food alone, and by then their food was cold. There were also several other order issues during the meal, including the wrong salad being brought to our table after another long wait, which is not a huge deal (it was a holiday weekend and they were busy) but it felt like our entire order was miscommunicated. What led me to write this review is I'm quite certain that the "gluten-free" pizza I was ultimately served was not actually gluten free. For the next few days after eating it, I became very sick with symptoms consistent with gluten exposure, and it honestly impacted the remainder of my time in door county. What especially raised concern for me was that our server later sent us home with another gluten-free Rosso pizza as an apology for the wait times and order mix ups, and it looked dramatically different from the pizza I had just been served. The crust, texture, and overall appearance were completely different, which made me increasingly worried I had been served the wrong order. The "gluten free" pizza I had been served (in the image attached) looks identical to my dad's regular pizza (plate behind it) and nothing like the other GF pizza crusts in the reviews. I did notice this when our server finally brought over my pizza however she did confirm it was gluten-free. I understand restaurants get busy especially over holidays and mistakes happen, and I'm not trying to be harsh or accusatory. But for customers with celiac disease or gluten intolerance, this is a serious health issue, not a preference. I really hope the restaurant takes a closer look at its gluten-free procedures and communication between the kitchen and servers, because this experience was really disappointing. Inland also does not have an email posted on their website nor can you leave a message when calling, when I tried to discuss with them directly.

Oh wow, 7 years since my last review? Definitely time for an update. Please see my original…read morereview as well. We decided to aim for a late lunch here since they tend to fill up during traditional lunch hours and then ramp up again for an early dinner crowd. 2:30pm on a weekday was perfect. Only a few tables were filled inside with more people outside on the patio, but it looked like there was still room there too. They have great beer selections including local draft choices. I had a local hazy IPA that was excellent. We shared a cherry, goat cheese and walnut salad which was delicious and definitely plenty for two. We went with a 16 inch sausage and pesto pizza which was excellent and the housemade sausage didn't disappoint. Leftovers were delicious cold the next day. Service was good and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. The kitchen is open so you can watch the team tossing dough to make the pizzas. Parking is usually not too hard to find along the main street through town.

Met some folks on the ferry from Washington Island that highly recommended Wild Tomato so we headed…read moredown to Sister Bay for an early dinner. We tried the bruschetta dip as our appetizer. The dip was good but the bread was too hard and there wasn't enough bread. I love that you can try 2 different pizzas (half of each on one pizza! We tried the sausage & pesto for one half and the D-LUX on the other half. My favorite was the sausage and pesto - the veggies were too big on the D-LUX. I also ordered a side of ranch and my daughter asked for Parmesan cheese. The cheese was real, shaved - not the cheap/fake sprinkle kind you get at most pizza places! The staff were all friendly and great and I really liked that we weren't charged extra for the ranch and cheese. This ended up being one of our best (and cheapest) meals in Door County!!
