I had dinner at Villaggios in Door County for the second time this year. Our server, Miguel, was very friendly and funny. My friend and I both ordered a glass of red wine, the caprese appetizer, and the Limoni Angelina for dinner. We both really enjoyed the food and the wine. The Limoni dish was lacking a little flavor and spice for my preference. I asked for a side of pesto, which they couldn't do, so instead I opted for a side of red sauce and red pepper flakes. I'm still giving 5-stars because I enjoy the food and service here and will always come back! Also their angel hair pasta is amazing! Next time I go back, I'm going to order the Villasenor again. I really enjoyed that dish the first time I was there- the pesto was delicious!!

Great and friendly service. Sat our large table pretty quickly. Drinks were good, appetizers were good but my chicken was super dry.

Our waiter was amazing. His name was Miguel. Got the lemon pasta it was a little much for my taste, but I still appreciated how amazing the ingredients were together! Some of the best angel hair pasta I've ever had. Ambience was nice, low lit and cozy.

Our first visit to this new location in Egg Harbor, with an updated look and menu. The transition from Juddville to here took about 4 (I think!) years, so you may want to focus on the reviews that start in Spring 2024 for your evaluation. At any rate, we had a 6:30 reservation and after a wait of a few minutes, we were seated. A bunch of us all showed up around 6:30 so they were a bit backed up. No worries...the manager took our drink orders and prepared them himself! There is a large selection of Italian wines which are generally not my favorite, so I got a martini with Italian vodka. It was great...who knew! My wife got a Pinot Grigio that was solid. For my meal I got the Veal Piccata. One of my pieces of veal was a bit grizzly, but the other was divine! I mentioned it to the manager when we were done and he said they would have made me a new one, but I told him I was plenty full after finishing what I had, so it was all good, and that was my choice. The piccata was great and the veggies tasty. The mashed potato starch of the day was phenomenal! My wife had the Lemon Oregano chicken. A nicely flavored piece of chicken with the same veggies and mashed potatoes. Both dishes were plenty for a filling meal. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a larger bar than when it was Trio, the former restaurant in this location. Service was good, and prices reasonable. It's nice to have someone back in this building putting out tasty food!

Food and menu offerings need to improve. The new location is lovely but they have big shoes to fill to come up to Trio's standards.

Food was good, bartender (ahead of being seated) was great, atmosphere was good. Service was SLOW and inattentive. There were multiple times where we waited 10-20 minutes with no food or drink in front of us. No one ever followed up for additional drink orders outside of the first. After about 1 hour & 10 minutes, I flagged down a bus boy and asked them to find out why we still hadn't gotten the main course. They said we were behind a big table and it should be about 5 minutes. 5 minutes later I flagged down my waiter and asked what was up. I was told that it was my fault for asking for our focaccia, appetizer, and main course to be spaced out. (the only options that were given were to have all items at once or spaced out) At this point I asked for a manager. The manager (owner) came out hot, acting like the soup guy from Seinfeld. He had the waiter repeat what she told to me earlier and when I tried to interject, told me to stop and listen to her. I reiterated that at this point we'd been there for over an hour after being seated (late) (also at this point it was almost and hour and a half since being seated) and that it was unacceptable to still not have been served the main course, whatever their excuse was. There were at least 3 servers, and not over 20 tables in the entire place. Instead of offering anything at all to make up for it, acknowledging any of the issues, or least of all apologizing, the owner told the waiter to "get us out of here". The waiter wound up bringing the entree in a bag and the check (including the entree) to us. I had to demand I wasn't, at all, paying for the entree in order to get it removed from the bill. (I left it on the table) The bottom line is that, the entree could've been the tastiest dish in the world, but this place doesn't deserve your patronage.

We went around lunch and it was PACKED with of course limited indoor seating, crowded parking, people everywhere but honestly the food made it worth squeezing in. The tomato mozzarella salad was SO fresh and delicious, and the pizza absolutely lived up to the hype. We got the goat cheese & spinach pizza with hot honey and wow... whoever decided hot honey belonged on pizza deserves a raise. Sweet, spicy, cheesy perfection. Even my four year old loved a kick on the pizza. Now for the reason this isn't a 5-star review: the service. Our waiter seemed like he'd rather be literally anywhere else on earth. We had to ask multiple times for refills, and the overall vibe felt like we personally ruined his afternoon simply by existing. I totally understand places get busy, especially during tourist season, and we also had a four year old that was starving and was quiet about it with us so we weren't expecting royal treatment, but good service and a friendly attitude really do change the whole experience. The food? 10/10. The atmosphere? Cozy chaos. The waiter? Needed a snack, a nap, or maybe both. Would absolutely come back for the pizza alone. Just hoping next time our server likes people a little more. Solid 4/5.

Ambiance: cute, cozy and intimate lighting which is perfect date night vibe and there were still some bigger parties accommodated. Arrived and it was packed and still not very noisy. Service: Nick was awesome! Knowledgeable, friendly and personable. There's a level of pride in the work that he does that screams unreasonable hospitality (IYKYK) and paced my courses out beautifully. Wine recommendation was on point and attention to others didn't lapse. All tables felt his presence. Food: House salad was easily the best red wine vinaigrette that I've ever had. The garlic was the perfect kick. Scallops appetizer were sweet and perfectly cooked through and the spinach/basil cream sauce that was under and surrounded the dish was amazing (and I don't or at least didn't think I liked basil!). For dinner I hate the halibut and mushroom risotto which was cooked to perfection. The risotto does have onions which I missed and didn't care for but they took care and offered me a separate bed which I thought was incredibly nice. For dessert I had the chocolate cake which was delicious. Coffee/espresso hints and perfect texture of cake to filling. I will be back for sure!
