Decided to try this spot based on overall reviews on Yelp. When we got there they were fairly busy and had people waiting to get seated. We were offered to sit at the bar or to wait for a table to open up, we went with the bar option. The restaurant itself is very spacious inside and they also offer patio seating as well. Our server was very friendly and welcoming. She provided the menus and got our drink orders right away. We were in the mood for some omelettes and decided to go with those. We got a Meat Lovers Omelette and Denver with Cheese. We got Ana few different toast and side options as well. When the omelettes were brought out, the only way we could tell them apart because we each got a different side, if it wasn't for that, there's no difference between the two. I'm not sure if they are all like that or just these two. Both omelettes were cooked OK, they needed salt as they were pretty bland. The meat lovers had some chorizo which added a little bit of taste, otherwise they were not that good and tasted identical. Based on the reviews, I figured it would've been a better experience, but thus time they were not impressive.

The shop is a very standard cafe/brunch setup. Its cutely decorated but nothing exceptional. It is very clean and cozy. Service was very friendly, prompt, attentive. The food was exactly what you hope for in a breakfast place. Is it a new up and coming trendy stylish place, not really, but if you want a peaceful clean spot with good solid food to enjoy a quiet brunch by yourself ir with friends, this os the place to go. They also have a very nice well shaded outdoor area. I do need to return to try the cinnamon rolls.

Wildberries was great! We jumped into our food so quick I forgot to take photos haha There is a ton of breakfast and lunch options to accommodate all guests. The staff were very friendly and attentive as well! We arrived at 11 and it was fairly busy so could have a short wait at times!

A spot I've passed by hundred of times and finally stopped in to try! It was busy on a Saturday morning, but we were able to be seated promptly outside on the patio. The service was exceptional, all the staff we encountered were so friendly and warm. My husband ordered the birria breakfast burrito and the birria was so tender and full of flavor. I opted for the healthy breakfast and subbed scrambled eggs and added a Cajun season chicken breast. Great portion sizes for the price point, and so many menu options that sounded delicious. We will be back to try more.

I've been wanting to check this place out and I'm so glad I did! The service is quick and attentive. I came in around 1pm for brunch and had crunchy French toast with some eggs & sausage. So good. Cute lil diner. Will be back :)

Our first, but not last time here. The server was very friendly and the food was delivered fast. The cinnamon roll was huge. I had the chili burger and couldn't eat it all. The chili had a nice flavor to it. My husband really enjoyed the clam chowder soup of the day along with the Florentine Benedict. He said the eggs were perfectly prepared and the hollandaise sauce was very tasty. The music was just loud enough to hear, but wasn't too loud to prevent us from hearing each other without having to talk too loud. Sorry forgot to take pictures of the food, we were hungry and dove right in.

My family. and I absolutely loved this spot. we came here straight from the Phoenix airport. I'm so glad the hubby had found this spot. There were a ton of people waiting to be seated here but somehow we were lucky enough to have waited maybe a mere 5 minutes for a nice lil shaded table in the outside patio. We were first time visitors here so actually we were in the best possible spot. we saw so many dishes go by us and we were able to admire other regulars as they ordered their meals. it was so much fun. one thing that I have to say is that I love that this is a family run and owned spot. `The food was not only phenomenal but the staff were so sweet and so understanding. we did wait a while for our food but when it arrived we happily gobbled it up in no time. there were a few mistakes made but we weren't upset at all. they were all rectified and without any harm or damage to us. I had their stuffed French toast, the one with the blackberry drizzle. I was in heaven. for whatever reason I was on a French toast kick during this visit to AZ and I can honestly say that this has to be one of my fave's. it was so terribly delicious. I was ad when I took that last amazing melt in your mouth bite that left me wanting for much more than just another nibble. their sausages that are made in house are so amazing. they taste fresh. I don't know how else to explain it but to say that they have a fresh taste, nothing processed and nothing that seems so mundane like any other breakfast sausage. this one was indeed special. you could seriously taste the love and care that they put into making their food. one of the folks in our dining group was having a bit of a low blood sugar issue. our server got on it right away and brought a few things to try and help the situation. it worked, luckily, like a charm and well, of course. our food all came out right after. their prices are more than reasonable. I liked sharing my meal with my lil kiddo because she had some of my French toast and I had some of her eggs and delectable sausage. it was a most wonderful meal to start the day after our 1hr and 20 min flight that was shorter than the voyage to the rental car pick up area. LOL. this was a great first stop! thank you for such a wonderful meal. I have more photos to post. I need to get on that. LOL. sorry...I was too busy eating!

The staff was friendly and service was quick. The gravy was the right combo of creamy w a hint of spice from the sausage. The biscuit was light and airy w a bit of crumble. The French toast was tender and the lemon filling was tasty but I was expecting a bit more tart . It was very light and airy though . They give you butter and syrup but it's really not needed the blueberry sauce is just enough hint of sweet for me. The hollandaise was light but not sure if homemade , was a good simple flavor , I asked for it on the side so I could choose my own . The poached egg was done just right and the crab back was more like a hash down tater tot consistency. Not a bad taste but not my expectation for a crab cake . Overall I'd return again , was a hard choice for all the options

I am always looking for a good breakfast location. Coffee, service, ambiance, food are all important. The location was very good, we ate outside on a beautiful Sunday morning. I love to look at fellow diners and see how they react to their choices. Everyone seemed very happy. We had great service and when the food came we could see why everyone was so pleased. It didn't take long to arrive after order and it was so good. From cakes to omelette, very well done. I noticed the table next to me raving over their biscuits and gravy while we ate. My only regret was that I wish I could have had more coffee choices. My son wanted latte, I could have done a strong dark roast myself. That said, I will come back again.

This cute breakfast restaurant is a place you do not want to miss out on!! This place is cozy and the service was quick. I was greeted immediately and taken care of well. When having a staycation for 4th of July, my boyfriend and I checked out this location for breakfast. Definitely a small town, patriotic diner feel to it. This was an awesome find! Craving a good breakfast, this is your spot! Really nice clean establishment. Highly appreciate that!!quick service and friendly staff. I ordered the avocado toast and added the sausage patties. Such a good choice and very satisfying. The sausage was really good. Don't miss out on those. My friend ordered the lemon filled French toast and that was amazing as well. The lemon cream is such a good touch. No syrup needed on that one.

Found this place by just looking up "breakfast" on my google maps, and it was close by, and had awesome reviews, so my girlfriend and I stopped in. Hands down, BEST breakfast we've ever had. It was around the end of lunch time when we went, but we were craving breakfast food. The server brought us a specials menu, and I saw the salmon benedict, and had to try it. It was to die for!! My girlfriend got the Spanish omelette, and felt the same way. Our server was also very nice, and attentive. To top it off, our two drinks, and food came to just under 30 dollars. 30 dollars for fresh, delicious food? Wow! This place has two new regulars as of today. We're in love!! read more

Came after a long drive from LA & just wanted a good breakfast so I could go to sleep. Service was great and food was to. I've had the salmon Benedict before and that was amazing too! Went to breakfast this morning with a friend and LOVED IT! Friend got their breakfast burrito which was delicious and came with a nice salsa, I got the INCREDIBLE crab cakes eggs Benedict. The flavor was so good and savory, and the poached eggs are served over legit crab cakes. The hash browns on the side are also lovely, though nothing compares to the Benedict! Will definitely return. read more

Great place. Love going here. If you like supporting locally, family businesses, this is your place. Has a great Mediterranean feel and menu. But don't worry, they still have all the regular stuff to. I kind of feel like the whole family is working there which is kind of cool. Services always good and the food is great. Ahhhhmazing!!! If you are looking for a big breakfast, George's it is. Customer service was excellent and the food was delicious. We got the country skillet (which is impossible to finish), biscuit and gravy, and crab cake Benedict. All amazing and delicious. You also get a cup of berries as you sit and wait to order, so cute! I have only a picture of my order cause my family dug into theirs too fast. read more

This was one of the worst brunch places I've ever been to. The drinks were never refilled or even offered to be so. The chicken in the chicken salad was very dry and the hamburger was burned black. When this was brought to the server's attention she gave 20% off instead of apologizing and offering to replace it. What a disaster! Consider yourself warned. read more

I was staying in an area in Mesa for the weekend. Looking through yelp this place popped out with many good reviews. The menu is pretty simple with all the breakfast staples. I got the breakfast burrito which was decent enough. I would recommend the food but would steer clear of any of the lattes. The latte was too sweet and just tasted like syrup. If I'm in the area I would definitely go back for the food. read more

We ordered for our office recently, so there were 4 people that ordered. Nobody loved the food and nobody hated it. Everybody sort of walked away just feeling like it was extremely average. Nothing special to drive across town for again. Since it was a little family run business I was really hoping it had that homestyle feel of food, but there was just nothing stand out about it again I didn't dislike it. Excellent brunch spot. No mimosas or other alcohol, but the food makes up for it. My friend had the veggie omelette, and I had the pecan pancakes. Both were done perfectly. Our coffee cups were never empty, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly. George has a great sense of humor and loves taking care of his guests. 10/10 - do recommend. read more

Excellent - Hidden Gem in Mesa at a time when we need Service and Great Food at Affordable prices. My coffee cup never went empty and the servers meet you at the door to tend to every need. Did I say the FOOD was Great? It is - and plenty of it. We have lost a lot of restaurants during these past 2 years which is why I was SO glad to find George and this Wonderful new home for Breakfast and Lunch. Try it - You'll LOVE IT !! read more

Had breakfast there midweek. Best I can say is that it was OK, not as good as the cafe that was there years ago- The Ripe Tomato. If I go back I won't select the sour dough toast- Wonder Bread would have been tastier. Service was good and ambiance was not cozy more industrial. read more

This is place is great. Service is amazingly fast. The food is tasty and comes out lightening quick. I had one of the breakfast specials - machaca omelet and the hubby had the breakfast burrito. Very tasty and good. Coffee is great. Reminds me of east coast and Chicago diners. Wonderfully delightful place and probably our new go to. read more

I just visited this establishment for the second time and once again had a great experience. The food was great, but the awesome experience started off with the hostess Hyatt. She was so welcoming and friendly it made the experience for us. I will for sure add this place to one of my favorite breakfast spots. read more

I've been here 3 or 4 times with my guy after stopping in on a fluke. This place is as close to perfect as aa breakfast and brunch place can get. Not only are the portions massive, but it all tastes so good! The place is family owned. We are greeted by the matriarch of the family or her husband every time we come in. They seem genuinely happy to see everyone that walks through their doors. After our fourth visit they even recognized us! The staff is attentive and quick. We've never been left waiting for food, drinks, the check or to go boxes. Wild berry is a gem in Mesa. read more

scrambled with fabulous sausage links, hash browns with gravy, and a side of one pancake.. I was really impressed. The links were the largest and best that I have ever eaten, I gotta go back and ask where I can buy some. The sausage gravy was delicious, filled with bits of sausage and the gravy was perfectly thickened and tasted more of sausage than flour. Overall, a very satisfying breakfast , impressive. read more

Started off good. Got seated right away. Service was good. Ordered. Got drinks right away. Then the food came out... but only half of it. Then it took 10 min for our waitress to return. Another 10 or so before my food came out and they still forgot half of my mother-in-laws order. Also, when we ordered, I asked if the Crabcake Benedict was made with REAL crab or crab with a K.... waitress obviously doesn't know the difference. "Oh it's real crab"... no, no it was not and it was mostly breading. For $9.99 I guess I should have assumed. But the poached eggs and hollandaise were tasty and the portions are good. Everyone else enjoyed their meals too. We'll give it another shot. read more

We are so happy to have found George's Wildberries. First of all, this is a neighborhood joint with all the friendly vibes and people. Plates were delicious, pretty, and plentiful right down to the fruit and fries. I got the crab cake Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was truly yummy - silky, lemon kissed and just the right flavor. It's been a while since I've had really good hollandaise. We will be back for the friendliness and food. read more

Food was good. Service was good. The owner's decision to let construction guys install plexiglass between booths, while the restaurant is open, terrible. Our visit here was cut short, when out of the blue, some guys came in and started using impact drills to install plexiglass dividers between the booths. They are incredibly loud, and make having an indoor conversation impossible. I don't understand why they had to be installed at 8:00am on a Saturday, when this place closes at 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon. The work could have been performed either earlier, before the restaurant opened, or later, after the restaurant closes for the day. Doesn't make any sense at all. read more

Not impressed!!! Our server was wonderful, unfortunately they neglected to tell her one of the specials wasn't available. I ordered said special and was brought something completely different. Sent it back because there were things in it I don't eat. Ended up with very very bland biscuit and gravy. Hubs had eggs Benedict said was good but very generic. Doubt we will be back. ** UPDATE**. Server so upset I didn't get what I ordered she brought me out an additional breakfast. Took it to go. Thanks Jen for looking out for your customers. read more

I told her I'd eat it. Truly don't like complaining let alone confrontation with a Russian native with a sharp attitude because of a rough life. My nephew is from there so I GET the trauma. and I though I know I can usually switch my palate. But not for this plate of food. I felt sick looking at it. "Just eat the 'steak' I picked the stuffing apart - could not eat more than a thimble. Gummy gluten salty yuck was inedible. The FINGERPRINTS! 2 Fingertips past knuckles imprinted. I left it and hope someone there stopped to think "Why?" Our Waitress tried to make up by suddendly being nice when she walked behind me with a second piece of pie ...to go home. Thanked me for being agreeable or something. I nodded. I remember this saying if you l oh someone's attention the first three seconds and first three steps you'll spend the next 30 min trying to make them believe you're hiring. It's true. I was too tired this week to be extremely understanding but I'm never rude. I told my hubby let's both let this one go. And I said "But we won't return here." He nodded in agreement. Because I see people come in and sit down I see how tired they are and make quick calls to be able to turn their day around if only for a short time before they return home....to being a caregiver or to grieve a loss. Sad dinner and maybe she had a tough week too. But. But times 3 over.

We have known George(the owner) for many many years from his old Wildberry location, when we found out he sold his old restaurant we didn't know how to find him we were bummed! But thanks to Yelp we were able to! They moved to a different location & we could've be happier!
