It's been nearly a month before I finally decided to give this chicken joint a shot. I'd come by to get their Fresca whenever I could but their menu and process of making their chicken always had me curious. One day I finally decide to give in and I'm so glad I did. For one, their chicken is source locally by quality family farms like Mary Chicken, and their Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes hit home as great complimentary side. Since giving them a shot, I have ordered at least daily and five time a week whether it a protein plate, combo plate or chicken by itself with a cold drink post workout. They slowly become my workout meal prep whenever I need a simple healthy dose of recharging. They got a great team that provide good service whenever you're Need of. Wow!!!! Absolutely loved it! I ordered the quarter chicken with two sides (broccoli and brussel sprouts). My husband ordered the same thing. We were both very satisfied with this pick. The chicken had lots of flavor. Seasoned perfectly. (Wing and thighs) The broccoli had good seasoning as well. It had lime, which I had never had on my broccoli. It was new and exiting flavor. The best for last.... The BRUSSEL SPROUTS!!!! Deep fried deliciousness. The right amount of sweetness add to their sauce. I high, highly recommends them. Only lack luster thing we came across here was their house salsa. It had no flavor or just lacked salt. Our visit to this store was an unexpected pleasant discovery that will now be added to our list of go tos when we're in town. By the way the service was really good. I would give them a solid 3.5 stars. The staff was super friendly! They have a nice selection of things on their menu including platters with sides, bowls and burritos. I ended up getting a chicken burrito and a lemonade/watermelon mix (which was very tasty). The ingredients in the burrito, as well as the salsa, were very good and fresh. However, I wasn't a fan of the grill marks on my burrito. It looked nice, but it just added a burnt taste the tortilla. I liked the ambiance. Nicely decorated, cute tables, TV and good music playing. Found it a bit pricey (burrito was $13+ with no side). But I'm assuming they have to upcharge on their items because their chicken is organic. Wildbird was just okay. I ordered the superfood ensalada and added chicken. The chicken was on the dry side and I felt like I had to really put in a lot of dressing (wild sauce and chipotle vinegarette) to bring out the taste of my salad. As for the quarter bird, it came with 2 pieces of chicken and 2 sides. The quality of the taste of both dishes didn't give us the "wow factor", but satisfied our hunger. There's not much I can say about the service because everything was pretty much self serve even ordering the food. I wasn't a fan of the water barrel when I was getting a cup of water. My husband thought that the water barrel was empty, but it turned out that getting water out of the barrel was superrrrr slow. It took almost forever to get half a cup of water. As someone who drinks a lot of water a day, I was not a fan of the self serve drink situation. On the other hand, the ambiance was clean and the restaurant was not crowded at all for a Friday night, which we appreciated. There was plenty of seating , so finding a table was not a struggle at all especially for a weekend. If I wanted to have a Mexican America chicken salad, I think I would prefer a chicken salad from El Pollo Loco over Wildbird. The prices ranges between $13-$18 per plate, and it wasn't worth it. After getting a workout in at 24 Hr Fitness, I decided to give this place a try since I heard the chicken they serve are free range chickens from a local chicken farm called Jidori. Although the local farm is named Jidori, there's a specific breed of chicken in Japan also called Jidori and those chickens are what one might liken to Wagyu or Kobe if you think of it in terms of steak. It's a special breed of chicken and it's more expensive as well. Anyway, I'm not sure if these chickens are the Jidori breed, however, they are raised free range and well taken care of, just like the Jidori chickens are in Japan. According to the Wildbird credo, the better chicken will result in a better tasting meal. I'll let you be the judge but I enjoyed my meal! The chicken was juicy and tender and the sides were delicious. The only thing I would change is ordering a 1/4 chicken instead of a 1/2 chicken. I had just finished my workout and was really hungry, or so I thought, and figured that a eating a 1/2 a chicken would be no problem. I didn't take into account the hearty sides. Next time after the gym, instead of going across the street to Chipotle, it'll be Wildbird! read more

Great food. I got the Halfbird with all white meat, brussel sprouts, sweat potatoes, white sauce and the wild sauce. Everything was delicious. My only small critique is that I ordered all white meat which was 3 bucks extra, but they gave me dark meat. The chicken was juicy and the skin was decadent Sweet potatoes and Brussel Sprouts hit. Brussel sprouts definitely had a kick. The white sauce was rich and garlicky and the wild sauce had a kick. But I am weak weakling when it comes to spicy so keep that in mind. I'd absolutely recommend if you're in the mood for some grilled chicken. read more

I wish there was a convenient location closer to the Westside because the food is so delicious! We attended an event nearby and wanted a light casual dinner afterwards. Most of the local eateries were closed so we ended up here. I was immediately impressed with the chill vibes and the warm ambiance. It's very causal but really attractive and quaint at night. The menu options are healthy and filling, nothing greasy or fried. I had the Superfood Ensalada, which was fresh and fully loaded with chicken, quinoa, kale, black beans, roasted corn, and more! It's served with Chipotle vinaigrette, which I was hesitant to try because I'm not a fan of Chipotle (I know, I know). However, the server convinced me to sample a little on the side. Much to my surprise I was back at the counter asking for more! Even the Chipotle dressing was a winner for me. Speaking of service, the employees were very pleasant and welcoming. I especially appreciated the helpfulness of the guy who sold me on the Chipotle dressing. There are so many appealing items on the menu. Obviously I couldn't try everything at once, so I ordered a few sides to take home for later including the Mexican street corn (delish!). This place has crossed my mind at least a dozen times since my visit, so I really hope they open up more locations.
