Yes! A kava/dry bar in Jax! Let me preface with this because I see a few people confused as to how a dry bar can have a drink that "alters" how you feel. Just because someone doesn't want to drink alcohol specifically doesnt mean they don't want to relax/imbibe something to chill out. There's a difference between the effects of alcohol (not so good) and having a few shells of kava. Just like there are plenty of people who don't drink alcohol but smoke CBD or THC etc. they're still seeking to relax just not but poisoning their livers and throwing up all day the next day. While kava can cause a bit of a "hangover" (I'd describe it as feeling a slight fog maybe when I first wake up??) it's not nearly as bad what I've seen people experience drinking and what I used to experience. The thing that I, and others I've asked, enjoy about the concept of a dry bar is the absence of riff raff at regular bars. It's the chill vibe without drink people stumbling around, bumping into you, hitting on you, getting in fights, pressuring you to drink. So yes it's a dry bar and there's no alcohol. Does that mean i can't have a little sip of something to chill out? No. That being said -- I love this place! I love the vibe so much, I love the plants, I love the welcoming atmosphere. The drinks AMAZING. they're so delicious and mask the earthy taste of kava well. They have options to match your outfit or mix up whatever they feel like and I highly recommend it it's fun! I like to come here to do admin work for my business and vibe out. Only complaint I'd have is the music. The first time I went it was nice vibe music sounded like Hawaiian but in Spanish, the next time I went it was all over the place with some weird jazz stuff where every instrument played a different song lol and then a song I lowkey liked but it was a little much for the vibe with the n word being said every two seconds. Randomly came across this little gem one day in riverside and fell in love with it The owner was sooooo kind and passionate about his business and the crafting of these drinks. Finally made it by. Cool space, good music and friendly staff. Love all of the plants hanging, makes the space warm and welcoming. Something fun and new to try! I tried one of the hot teas and my fiancé had the Kava Mule. The mule was definitely different than a traditional mule but not bad. The yummy tummy tea was fresh and comforting. If you're having a bad day then look no further! As soon as you come in you are greeted with the energy of nature. The owner is absolutely wonderful with his knowledge of non alcoholic drinks and flowers. Sit back have a drink and order the "Talk to me" drink, tell them a little about yourself and get a drink customized just for you!. I've been trying to steer away from alcohol and this this has been a HUGE stepping stone in the right direction for me. The colors and variety of drinks will blow you away! Now for the kava, I wasn't to familiar with it but I was told about it's properties and what it does for you and I was hooked. Might be and acquired taste drinking it straight for some but in a few of the mixed drinks it's wonderful. So come in relax, make a new friend, talk and wind away in this natural environment of delight and calm. Last but not least I reccomend the "Feel good lost" crafted cocktail, this thing has green tea, bell pepper, roasted sesame, lemongrass, lemon and chili oil. This place is definitely for aesthetics- not good drinks. Ordered a strawberry moon and a dry tai. The dry tai was absolutely disgusting. My husband and I took turns chugging sips while using the strawberry moon to cleanse out pallets. Thought it would be fun to bring friends here to see how it goes since they don't drink real alcohol. It's worth going at least once. Just know it's a bit hard to figure out what to order. read more

What a neat spot! The place is beautiful with tons of green plants and comfy seats. Feels very cozy and homey. The menu has a wide variety of mocktails, teas, as well as kava, which is a popular social drink in the South Pacific. They also had a nice selection of non-alcoholic beers, including an oatmeal stout and an IPA. The service was friendly and attentive. I've been looking for a chill spot plus I Love tea! As soon as you walk in you feel a lovely fresh but warm vibe. The entire place is filled with lively plants (bonus, they're for sale). I'm not sure the the gentleman behind the bar was the owner but he was very informative and accommodating. I'm limited in certain things I can drink right now but I just simply told him what I liked and he created a refreshing drink for me. 10/10 will come back just on the service alone. read more

Beautiful space with lots of plants and comfy calming and happy atmosphere. I went during their grand opening and they had a really fun DJ and were packed. I'm looking forward to visiting on a regular day to see what the daily Vibe is like. I was able to try the kava, it was interesting and had a calming effect that lasted a few hours. It's a cool, not hot, grassy tasting tea and It's not really something you drink for the flavor. Went for a small live show and was blown away! The drink quality and service was amazing.. the venue is extremely clean and very cozy. Lots of beautiful live plants and many comfortable places to lounge. The owner was in and it was a real treat, I felt like we were old friends and I was welcomed to enjoy the space as I would my home.. definitely a lovely place to visit if you would like to avoid the usual bar crowd (without compromising social aspects!) even as a smoker the smoke free porch was nice not sitting in a plume of smoke and ashes! It doesn't quite feel like a good description for the most unusual place in Jacksonville! You can spend time here absorbing a peaceful love and great drinks made in house and locCool that it's both serene and an energizer. I left feeling healthier and vibrant. Update: We went back a party of four. This became a problem. There was no place for us to sit together comfortably. On a long couch the two people on the ends can't talk to each other and the benches up against the wall were too tall for women's feet to reach the ground and too shallow. Everyone was uncomfortable. And the the window is open as the temperature dropped to 50°. Everyone commented on how the tea was great, and the drinks were wonderful but comfort got low marks.
