We ordered items for delivery. We chose items we have eaten and enjoyed multiple times. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. My husband ordered the Asian Chicken Salad which he called mediocre at best. I ordered the Roasted Sweet Potato Sandwich. In the past, I loved this sandwich so much that my husband brought me one while I was in a rehab hospital in Feb. The excuse for a Roasted Sweet Potato Sandwich i received was missing the star---the Sweet Potato! Instead, I received scant slivers of sweet potato, instead of the usual generous slab of perfectly cooked and seasoned sweet potato. The usual micro-greens were absent. Instead was a large quantity of arugula, which tends to be bitter. Jicama was in large chunks instead of shaved and definitely unappetizing. The fig confit was totally absent. There was a large amount of goat cheese which was packed into the middle of the bread. The ingredients did not extend to the edges. Half of the bread was devoid of any contents at all. This sandwich is usually made with tender, flavorful focaccia. Instead, I got stale sour dough bread which was ripped instead of cut, and the bread top was in five pieces. This sandwich is served with mixed potato chips, usually crisp and flavorful. Even my chips were a mess...they were chewy instead of crisp! What I ultimately received was a goat cheese and arugula sandwich on sour dough bread. Wildflower had access to my phone number and could have contacted me if they lacked the products to produce the meal as ordered. There is simply no excuse for this! Had we been in the dining room, I would have sent the meal back and insisted on something else. We are at a restaurant's mercy when ordering delivered food. When spending $12 for a sandwich, one expects to receive what is ordered. We frequented Wildflower at least monthly and sometimes more often. Sad to say, they lost our business permanently. read more

Great food as at all their locations. The biggest problem here is very poor acoustics to the point where the noise was extremely irritating. We were there over lunch and it was only about 1/2 to 1/3 full, and yet I couldn't hear the person next to me. I felt like I was in a loud noisy bar. I'm not sure if it's due to the very high ceilings, all the glass, or what, but hopefully they can do something to improve on this. We love eating at Wildflower. The food is very consistent. This location is screaming for a health inspection though. For starters, the tables are hardly ever wiped off and as we sat at one of the few actual clean tables I watched some unsettling things happen. The person clearing tables wouldn't wipe them off. Next I see a person washing the windows and from there going straight up to serve food without washing their hands. Next, I see someone come out to wipe tables. This person grabbed a rag from the bussing table, rung it out and proceeded to somewhat clean tables and chairs. Wonder what's in that liquid she was ringing out of the rag and how long it has been out there?!? My final observation is one that explains the flies in this place. All the food that was wiped from the tables is now on the floor. I would've thought that they might be back to sweep it up, but after looking around the entire restaurant, I realize that this must be part of their cleaning policy. Leaving everyone's half eaten food and/or crumbs on the floor for everyone to walk through all day. read more

I was thrilled when the Wildflower opened at Rivulon. The locations at Chandler Mall & Baseline in Gilbert are both well run and the food is consistently good. This is not the case at their new location. It's clear that unskilled cooks were hired and left to learn recipes on their own. Cashiers are less than friendly and very poorly trained in customer service. The restaurant has a wonderful selection of delicious bakery goods.... BUT the flies are disgusting and nothing seems to be done by staff. Great decor and atmosphere. read more

Hubby took a day off and we are excited to learn Wildflower is open inside dining for breakfast. We are very disappointed that there are hardly any bakery items in the case. I have been going to wildflower for years now but I always go to the one at the chandler mall. Today I decided to try the new location on Gilbert and the 202. The atmosphere is so cool and it has a very fun vibe. Right when I walked in I was greeted by Jerri and she had the biggest smile! She took my order, everything was correct and it was out in a timely manner. Mackayla brought out our food and made sure we had everything we needed. She was so polite and even asked us about our day. All the employees are so attentive and caring. I will definitely be returning after this great experience! read more

Food always great. Location perfect and store atmosphere is my favorite, with open setup and inside and outside seating. My big problem is almost everytime I come, its service with a frown. The employees do the job...but unhappily. When I ask a menu question they seem annoyed. Specifically one employee who I believe is a manager. I visited the new Wildflower in Gilbert with my family and I have to tell you this restaurant is just fantastic. The staff is very friendly. Jerry took our order, she was very friendly and offered great suggestions. I had the chorizo frittata and it was the BEST. One of the managers stopped by and talked with us, his name was either Brandon or Brian and he was very nice as well and made us feel at home. We just got back from another visit to this location. I'm happy to report we did NOT experience any of the previous issues this time. The Breadhead behind the register seemed well-versed in where to find things on that contraption. He was quick, polite, read the order back to us, and got us moving on nicely. The order was a bit slow coming out, but I'll attribute this to growing pains. I know we'll showing up there often and I'm sure they'll be up to 5 stars in no time. Incidentally, I received a message from the owner to my previous post expressing his concern over our first few experiences and offered to refund ALL of our money spent there so far. Although that gesture was very much appreciated, it was not necessary. It's just nice to know that the "higher-ups" actually see these things and care about their content. I came in during a midday rush and was treated with the best service by this girl named Olivia. She took her time and helped me choose off the menu as it was my first time in. We were on vacation and decided to yelp a place for lunch. This little gem came up and I'm so glad we stopped in. First, they had some awesome sesame bread samples with a side of butter waiting for you as you wait in line to place your order. We ordered a pastrami sandwich and the triple club which come with a side of kettle chips mixed with sweet potato chips. I was so pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. I also liked how they had a large juice selection along with a soda fountain that had a few off brand soda pop but also included real Coke. I have been a regular customer of Wildflower Bread Company for 20 years. I have visited the new Rivulon location several times, giving it a chance to work out the kinks. I can tell you I will not be back to this location. Today was the worst experience yet. Order was incorrect, food was delivered cold and a mgr did try to rectify the errors with a refund, it still doesn't change the fact that it was a bad experience with food and service. Having experienced Mother's Day in previous years at the Gilbert WF, I can tell you that this experience was awful. I had to ask the cashier how do I get my loaf of bread for Mother's Day and he had to go to the back to get it. Then it was just handed to me as an afterthought. Plus drinks are more expensive here and scones are smaller. read more

I love Wildflower but the experience that I had on Tuesday was not the best. I went in for a bread boule of soup and I specifically asked if the Mushroom Kale soup had any actual meat in it. The soups is not labeled as vegetarian and so I asked if it is not vegetarian because it has chicken broth or if there is actual meat in it. The lady behind the counter pulled out a binder and listed the ingredients. She said it was not vegetarian because of the chicken broth. I am fine with chicken broth but can't have pork or beef so I ordered the soup. I sat down and while I was eating the soup, I thought I could taste a meaty texture but the meat was small. It had a reddish color so I was concerned that I might be bacon. The manager walked by and I indicated that I thought there was meat in the soup and she said no there is no it is just roasted cauliflower. She said that she would know if there was bacon or pork in the soup. She brought us some dipping sauce for our bread which was super nice but I was not convinced about the soup. Once we left and started to go back to work my stomach started to hurt terribly. I was sick the rest of the day. I looked up the ingredients of the soup online and it in fact does contain bacon. I was upset that no one was able to tell me this and that I got sick as a result. I love their bread and sandwiches but they need to train their staff to address dietary concerns especially with so many good allergies out there. I will be checking the ingredients on my own in the future. read more

I'm a fan of Wildflower as it is, but the staff at this location went way above and beyond. I owe so many thanks to the GM and Jerri, who generously brought my food and drinks out to my car so I wouldn't have to either leave my 9-month-old baby girl in a running car in hot and muggy weather, or juggle purse/baby/drinks/food in a very busy restaurant. I'm extremely appreciative of the staff here, and of course, the food was delicious. read more
