This place is a new favorite of mine. I think as I go to more and more Tiki Bars, I really gravitate to the ones that have more unique drinks. I make drinks at home. I've had a traditional Mai Tai a million of times. Do you have Tiki Drinks that are going to make me want to drive 45 minutes to you? On top of that, is your food worth it? I'm happy to say that the answer to both of these questions are yes. I've gone here 3 times within the last two weeks and one item that is a constant order is the Orange Chicken. Nowadays I think people are used to the classic super sweet Panda Express style Orange Chicken that you'll also see occasionally at your local Chinese food restaurant. Wilfred's Orange Chicken definitely is sweet but its not as sweet as what I used to and I'm not mad about it. There's a lot of depth with the sauce. I don't know if they are just putting more soy sauce or dark soy sauce...Maybe it's Oyster/Fish sauce? Theres definitely some kind of extra Umami going on.

An added plus is that it pair perfectly with the tanginess of the Pineapple Fried Rice. For drinks my favorites have been the Manta Ray and the Sanfroyosko. The reason being is just because these have been the more unique ones that...

I've been really enjoying. The Manta Ray is more tropical than one might think. However it's tropical with a bit of funk. The combination of the Gin, Falernum, and Sauv Blanc Syrup really add to the complexity. The other drink I really like is the Sanfroyosko. If you are a Mai Tai lover, this is the one to try. The substitution of the typical tums with the Shochu, Sake and Pisco add even more of a Wine and floral flavor profile to the drink. On top of that the Sesame Orgeat gives and even more nuttier flavor than normal. But despite all these flavors going on, it still kinda tastes like a Mai Tai. The service has always been amazing. Every person who has served us has served us with a smile. But even despite how friendly they are, there still remains this sense of professionalism with their interactions. They check in at the perfect times. They ask how we are enjoying everything and share their favorite things to drink/eat. [[HIGHLIGHT]]With the amazing tiki decor and island music, you really do feel like you are on an Island anytime you eat here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

When I thought of Napa before, I can tell you the first thing that that came to mind was not tiki. That might've changed with the visit Jamie W. and I made during a particularly drizzly Saturday last month. We had just finished a visit to the Tiki Dreams exhibit at the Napa Valley Museum and thought it might be fun to complement that with an actual tiki cocktail. Even though Jamie and I have been on a tiki roll recently, we had no idea this evocative two-floor lounge existed downtown on the edge of the Napa River. It's only been around since 2021, but it's named after a family member who ran a beloved Honolulu cocktail bar. It's all in the details, and the seafaring elements and authentic Hawaiiana really immersed us into the tropical atmosphere.

Wilfred's is a restaurant as well as a bar and offers all the expected dishes like pineapple fried rice, kalua pork, and mac salad. We went upstairs and settled ourselves on the plush loveseats in the corner, perfect as the rain was...

sprinkling on the shipboard deck outside. The cocktail menu was extensive and presented in a booklet. We started big with two winners. I had the $17 Hipa Hipa Hooray It was a potent take on a painkiller with Overproof Jamaican rum, coconut, pandan, pineapple, and orange (photo: https://yelp.to/vRmuexUyQ6). Jamie had the $16 O.G. Grog described as a Groggy Rum blend, lime, grapefruit, spice #1, and a rock candy stick (photo: https://yelp.to/6JkYdRqvWr). We decided to share the $11 Spam Fries, panko-crusted fried Spam with mango habanero sauce and mustard (photo: https://yelp.to/bzmISMP8cw). That was decadently indulgent but more than a second round of delightful libations. Jamie went for the $15 Uma Ube with white rum, cream of coconut, pineapple, and ube (photo: https://yelp.to/KjB0p0oK7G). I went a little more uptown with the $16 Espresso Tikitini, a smooth blend of vodka, Koloa coffee-infused rum, Copalli cacoa rum, macadamia nut liqueur, Griffo coffee liqueur, and coffee (photo: https://yelp.to/degQyriZCu). Oh my, we were on a roll but we decided to shift gears to the mocktail page of the menu. We finished with a couple of $10 Ube-Bae-Baby! mocktails since I wanted an ube fix. We recently took a trip to napa valley and after wine tasting in the morning, we decided to check out the river front. Wilfred's is located right on the river and has two stories. We went to the bar and ordered some cocktails then took them upstairs to the patio. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Felt like being at a disneyland resort restaurant with how decorated the place is. Very hawaii/tiki lounge.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband and I absolutely loved it and our drinks were strong but tasty. Sadly the place was dead! Maybe lunch was a weird time to be there? Hope this place gets the business it deserves!

Food: was amazing! Everything we ordered was good. To start we ordered the Pupu Sampler Platter which had chicken wings, coconut shrimp, smoked salmon Rangoon and veggie pot stickers. Between the two of us we finished everything! It was that good! For our main entree we got Creamy Salmon Poke Bowl and Tofu Poke bowl and they were both delicious. Each one had different toppings. For drinks, we had Uma Ube and Ube Bae Baby. They were the same drink except the Uma Ube had alcohol. And let me tell you I will get that drink again. It was nice and strong. Service: the staff were very nice. We came as they were getting ready to open so there was no line. Once we ordered the food and drinks came right away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance: I love the ambiance. Love the decor. It was giving Island Vibes and feels. And the music was nice too. Oh by the way they have an awesome second floor/rooftop lounge.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came on a Friday afternoon but I'd come back again on a Friday night to hang with some friends for delicious island drinks.

As a tiki bar fan, I couldn't pass up checking this spot out. I've been to Wilfred's Lounge a few times but this time I decided to try the food. Their drinks are amazing because they're not too sweet and they're made with premium ingredients. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a tiki bar type of lounge which is always fun![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Located in the heart of downtown Napa right along the river, the views are definitely worth it and no matter if you're on the rooftop, out on the porch or inside you'll have a great atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I almost just wanted to have drinks and appetizers but then our waitress recommended the Loco Moco which is only served on Sundays. It did not disappoint. 10/10. The quality of the meat, the mushroom gravy along with the runny egg on top of rice was perfect. We also tried the pineapple fried rice which surprised me because I'm not a big fan of fruit in rice but it totally worked. They do not skimp on flavor, each bite made me want more. Our drinks were the Watermelon Sugar (zero proof) and the Maximum Aloha. Both were delicious and paired well with our meal. Definitely check out Wilfred's Lounge when you're in Napa!

Napa's lone tiki bar/restaurant. Obviously they have amazing tiki drinks you should try. For food both times I have got the different burgers they had and enjoyed the Smashburger the most. I also will have to say I loved the sweet potato fries and I usually don't like those.

While most people go to Napa for wine (which I did as well) I'll also try to find a good tiki bar anytime I go somewhere new. Ended up getting two cocktails here which both of them tasted great and both of my buddy's were very good too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They offer indoor and outdoor seating with a roof top section overlooking the river two which was very nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They do have a server running around upstairs to grab you drinks and food which was very conviennent and she was very friendly. Popped in for lunch on a Saturday not too long after they opened for the day and was able to grab two seats at the bar. The place was exactly what you'd expect for a tiki inspired restaurant and we loved the decor and atmosphere. The bartender was very friendly and helped me pick the perfect drink l. I ended up having two because they were so good. The food was also very good. We only had a few appetizers (wings and natsubi) but the flavor was spectacular and we were very happy with our choices. Will absolutely visit again to try the other menu options I debated ordering. Also worth noting that they sell tiki mugs! Very cool option to take a little bit of the experience home with you.

Looking for a place with cool Tiki drinks, this is the place to go to! Napa is known for its wine tasting and posh wineries. But, if you need a break from all that, Wilfred's lounge is the place to go! A wide range of Tiki Drinks for everyone! The lounge offers a menu of Hawaiian food, with even a local shout out to the musubi! Cute decor with holographic pirates and mermaids lining the walls. Go upstairs to lounge and take in the view!

We really enjoyed eating dinner and watching the sunset at Wilfred's. By the name, it's hard to guess what food they sell since my aunt remembered a Hawaiian/island food restaurant but we had trouble finding it just based on the name. Thankfully I walked to see the water and found it right on the end of the bridge! The service was attentive and the food came out quick. We all finished our plates and were pleased with the reasonable pricing and clean flavors. We had no reservations but were still seated which we appreciated! We would come back and I enjoyed my rum sour!

One of the BEST tiki bar. Amazing drinks, amazing decors and great staff. Definitely worth the drive and stop if you're in Napa. Yes yes, Napa is for wine tasting...but if you want a great fun experience, this is the place. If you want unique and fun drinks, this is the spot! We had four drinks and they were all so good! Unique flavors, excellent execution and overall world class. I can't believe they get ding for some of the reviews- really not fair to the spot. Check out the view on their patio too! Came here to have drinks with my cousin and had a great time. The bartenders were very nice and social. I can't remember the name of the drinks but my favorite was the pink one, the whipped cream is delish and the bananas or plantains (not sure which it was) were so so good! I wasn't really hungry but the food was good, I just came to drink and had to have some food in my stomach. I would definitely return, I think it would be fun to have a bday dinner here. read more

Love Wilfred's Loco Moco! It's a Sunday Brunch Special not on the menu. Ground beef patty cooked to order. Served over rice with a delicious mushroom gravy. Topped with a fried egg. So good! Add some deep fried Spam and Coconut Shrimp appetizers and it's a memorable meal. I have the Grog to drink and it's always perfect. Only place in Napa to get authentic Loco Moco. read more

I loved this place. Ate there for the first time today. Staff was very friendly but maybe a little slow, which was fine because we weren't in a hurry. I had the Maximum Aloha drink and loved it. The coconut banana whip on top was delicious! My friend had the mai tai and thought it was a little too limey for her. We both had the hamburger with sweet potato fries and loved it! I told our server it may be the best hamburger I've ever had. Can't wait to go back and take my husband! read more

Came here for brunch on Sunday and had a wonderful time. The drinks were delicious and looked very beautiful. As a vegetarian I didn't have plenty of options, but there were couple of dishes on the menu that I could customize and make them meat-free. I ordered vegetarian pineapple fried rice, unfortunately the dish I received had meat in it. Luckily I spoke with the stuff and they fixed their mistake right away bringing me a new plate. Except for that little hiccup I have to say we all had a great time and would definitely recommend this place to a friend. read more

Love this place! Super fun atmosphere, helllooo it's a tiki bar! Their food is super delish. My favorite signature drink is Wilfred's flora. I just love passion fruit and it has that w rum and a creamy top. So delish, especially if made by Joel! He's an MVP. Now to the FOOD. Tiki bar in Napa? DO IT. Especially if you're not into wine this place is a great spot to stumble upon. They had a taro tiki drink and since I'm Filipino and grew up eating Ube as a treat, I ordered not one, not two, but three of these tiki drinks and I was one happy gal! So yummy. Not too sweet. We had a reservation for our delicious weekend lunch with the mom and found the waitstaff to be great. The food was really good as well. No complaints. Tables are a bit cozy but not too close together. The bar looked fun and inviting, as did the entire decor. Everything cllcked. read more

Some friends and I went to Wilfred's lounge to celebrate a birthday- and it was a fantastic experience. It gets busy, but it's worth the wait for the delicious drinks they serve up. We loved it so much we actually came back after some more hopping around town and stayed till closing. The entire staff has great personalities, and if you're lucky you'll even get to meet Doc! Definitely worth stopping in if you want great energy, decor and even better drinks. read more

Stopped by for lunch and was amazed at service. We ordered two drinks, both colorful and delicious. When it came time to order food, I was cautious as I have severe allergy's to seeds. I asked the server to make sure no seeds on any item ordered. A few minutes later the manager came over and asked specific allergies and explained each ordered item and assured me they would prepare them so as I could enjoy them safely. I appreciated the extra effort for my safety. Highly recommended!!! read more

We had dinner at Wilfred's this past Friday. The atmosphere was great and so was the service. I was very pleased with the pineapple fried rice and the chicken skewers. My daughter's experience was not so good with the extremely limited vegan options. I had high expectations when I ordered their signature 1944 Mai Thai but was disappointed to find it consisted of 90% ice and the taste was lackluster. read more

We stumbled upon this place as we were looking for somewhere to eat along the river in Napa and we were pleasantly surprised! The rooftop area is for drinks only but since we wanted to sit outside, they offered us a casual outdoor experience with bar stools that overlooked the water. We ordered the appetizer sampler platter, the sweet potato fries, and the Uma Ube cocktail. The food was good and I'm glad we got the sampler in order to try the different options. The drink was great to me but my aunt said that it did not have a very strong ube taste and did have a lot of crushed ice. The service was a bit slow but nothing too bad. Very cute & fun restaurant & bar. Great location with views of the Napa river from inside the restaurant, patio & roof bar. Really enjoyed our luck which included the PuPu platter. The coconut shrimp is fab! The festive drinks take me back to San Fran's Tonga Room at the Fairmont Hotel & the old Trader Vic's - which was really fun. This has got to be in the top 3 tiki bars I've visited. The drinks, atmosphere, and service were absolutely amazing. I had 2 drinks while sitting at the bar and both of them were amazing. We went in and asked for a table for two. We were seated out back on the patio. We were there for almost 30 minutes and no one ever came outside to take our drink or food order. My boyfriend even went inside and asked the bartender if someone was going to come outside or we needed to order at the bar. They said someone would help us. We waited another 10 minutes and decided to take our business elsewhere. read more

Hawaiian vibes in Napa! Came here yesterday before the movies. It's a lively smaller Tiki lounge. They have a small bar area with seating for 6 I believe. They have 2 outdoor seating areas, one in front of restaurant and one rooftop. The rooftop only has tables and chairs, no bar service. Hopefully they work on that part, it will be a great add on, especially once Spring and Summer are in full swing. The drinks are very strong. I had the maximum Aloha and husband had had the hipa hipa hooray. Both were very good. Service was just okay. Our server seemed like he wasn't sure if he should be a server. Too soft spoken and he forgot about our drinks. We got our food first and the waitress that brought our food asked us if we were waiting on our drinks and I told her yes. Then our server came to ask us how our food was and I had to ask him to check on our drinks. Now for the food, we ordered the coconut shrimp and they were very tasty. For the main we got the kalua pork, comes with rice and macaroni salad. The pork was too salty. The macaroni salad was good, and rice well it was rice. We have been to our fair share of lauas and we know what kalua pork should taste like. We didn't do desert. Drinks were kinda sweet. Overall a nice addition to downtown Napa. I think they need to add more to the food menu. Some ahi nachos would be great! Chicken dumplings. Maybe a moco loco burger. Will be back to try the ribs and a few more of their specialty drinks. We've been waiting for this place to open since we heard they were moving into the old burger fi location. It definitely a unique addition to Napa. We went on a Sunday around 2. Service was great, drinks were amazing and large for the price. We also ordered the coconut shrimp and chicken skewers appetizer.... DELICIOUS!! The only downside was that it took over 45 minutes for our food to arrive but they were also pretty busy. We will definitely be back soon for dinner and more drinks. read more

We had a reservation for this place over my birthday weekend. We came in and gave them our name, but the employee did not have it in their system. I showed them the confirmation I had received and she reluctantly brought us to a table. We ordered a round of drinks and some appetizers to start. The drinks were good, a really fun themed cup for most of the drinks. Our server came around and we wanted to order another round of drinks and food, but we were unable to order any more food because the kitchen had closed. I don't mind that they close the kitchen, but a heads up would've been nice, we would have ordered everything to start if that was the case. read more

I'm a tiki enthusiast, so I was super excited to learn that there was another tiki bar close by. I've been going to Kapu since they opened in Petaluma and have really enjoyed it. I guess my expectations were too high. I was at Wilfred's on July 9th for their mug release with Woody. The "event" was simply Woody selling and signing his mugs. With such a tiny bar, it would have been nice to have a temporary bar outside serving the supposed special drink for Woody's mug. So I bought a mug, had it signed. We struggled to get a drink at the tiny crowded bar, but finally did. We ended up at a table outside, which was nice enough. The drinks were ok to pretty good. Food was ok. Liked the Spam fries. Otherwise, I was disappointed. The staff (except one bartender) all seemed either inept or simply annoyed to be there. It was the opposite experience to the Kapu experience. I returned the following Saturday with different friends. This time, the hostess from the 9th was folding t-shirts at the merch desk while watching me stand at the unattended hostess desk. No one came to check us in, so we wedged ourselves into the tiny bar. I won't go back unless I hear that they've made changes. It's too bad because the building and decor are on point, but if it's a tiki bar, there has to be Ohana and Aloha. Wilfred's has none. read more

One small service hiccup worth mentioning: the fries are listed as coming with a herb aioli, but mine arrived with ketchup. When I asked about the aioli, my server initially tried to play it off before eventually sharing that they were out. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but it was an odd interaction that could have been handled more directly. The atmosphere is a dark, casual lounge with a cozy hole-in-the-wall feel along the river. The staff was welcoming. If you're looking to trade wine tasting for a cocktail side quest, The Fink is definitely worth a visit.

Seating is first come first serve and the most popular spot definitely seems to be at the bar. Ordering is at the bar, and unfortunately, there's no physical menu here -- only a QR code that you'll have to scan to access their online menu. If you're able to, I definitely recommend browsing through the extensive menu online beforehand. While the menu is predominantly rum based drinks, there is also a handful of drinks that are not rum based. They also happen to have a non-alcoholic option where you can describe the flavor profile you're looking for and the bartender can put together a custom mocktail for you. I came in to Smuggler's Cove assuming everything would be over the top in terms of sweetness, but the drinks here are very well balanced. You can definitely taste the fresh citrus used in the drinks here. If you're looking for something very spirit forward, definitely look for items on the menu with a diamond next to it. I ended up ordering two drinks in the hour that I was there -- a zombie and a "Heaux Geaux", their take on the classic Vieux Carre. Since there was only one bartender downstairs, it took a while for the drinks to be prepared. I would recommend ordering your second drink about 20 minutes ahead of when you actually want it. Overall, Smuggler's Cove is probably the best tiki bar I've visited in the Bay Area. The drinks here are spectacular.

I recently visited Wilfred's Lounge and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. The ambiance of the place immediately caught my attention and set the stage for what I hoped would be a delightful evening. The drinks, undoubtedly, were a highlight - full of flavor and carefully crafted, they certainly hit the mark. While the service was satisfactory and the overall vibe was quite appealing, my enthusiasm took a slight dip when it came to the food. It was with high hopes that I ordered the chicken katsu and spam fries, while my husband opted for the Honolulu burger. The spam fries turned out to be a delightful surprise - flavorful and satisfying, they left no room for complaints. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for the Honolulu burger, which fell short of being extraordinary. It was decent enough to eat, but it lacked that special something that elevates a burger from ordinary to memorable. However, the real disappointment came with the Chicken Katsu. Regrettably, it turned out to be a far cry from what I had hoped for. The chicken felt overcooked and unappetizing, the rice was disappointingly mushy, and the overall flavors left much to be desired. It was a letdown, to say the least, and not the kind of experience one hopes for when dining out. Despite this culinary setback, my husband's kind gesture of finishing the Chicken Katsu for me speaks to his spirit of making the best of the situation. That said, it's disheartening to leave a restaurant feeling disappointed, especially when there were high expectations. In the end, Wilfred's Lounge left me in a bit of a mixed state. While I would consider returning for their enjoyable drinks and the satisfying spam fries, I can't help but wish for an improvement in the consistency and quality of their food offerings. Thankfully I've been here before and this was not my first experience with the restaurant, given that it was not the best. First & foremost, KUDOS to Debra for helping me make a much-needed adjustment to my reservation the day prior. After that, the experience went downhill. Our server took quite a while to take any sort of order from our table (even drinks!). When she finally took our appetizer order, she completely disappeared for quite some time. Upon finally returning, she seemed confused and again wandered away. When I finally got up from the table to go in search of her her (I wanted to tell her it was my father's birthday, as well as inquire about the holdup with our appetizer), she admitted she never input our order. She also stated that she would take care of it and make it up to the table. When she finally returned, she asked if we liked shrimp. I told her yes, but explained that my father dislikes coconut (because I know the menu only has coconut shrimp). She looked puzzled and again disappeared. Tables seated long after us were finishing by the time we finally got our entrees. Unfortunately, my father's ribs were subpar - at best - and most of his food was left on his plate. She did not bother to ask if there was something wrong (most people would, upon seeing a full plate of uneaten food) and by this time I was completely irritated and done dealing with her. When she brought the bill, she had not "taken care of" or "made up for" anything. Overall, subpar food for one of the three people in my party, exceedingly poor service, and no amends whatsoever. When we left, I suggested taking my father to Pasta Prego or someplace else so that he could actually have a meal for his milestone birthday; however, at this point, he was simply ready to get home. ‍ read more

The vibe is incredible, and the drinks? Simply top-notch. Shanie, our server, made the experience even better. She was so sweet, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. If you're in Napa and not at Wilfred's Lounge, seriously, what are you doing?! This place is an island getaway right in Napa, with dreamy river views, rooftop vibes, and all the tropical feels. I normally don't write reviews (too busy sipping cocktails, obviously), but Wilfred's totally deserves a shoutout! Drinks? A+. Food? Amazing. Service? Next level. Shaney, our server, was a total rockstar - she knew the menu inside-out and saved my indecisive friend with a killer recommendation. I'm obsessed with the Hipa Hipa Hooray - light, refreshing, and perfectly rum-forward. It's like a way better Painkiller (if I dare say). We hosted our wedding welcome party at Wilfred's Lounge for about 130 guests, and it was the perfect venue! Lauren Taylor and the team were fantastic to work with throughout the planning process, making everything easy from helping us choose the menu to answering all of our questions. Our guests raved about the food, drinks, and the venue itself. The rooftop deck was such a fun space, and the lower level worked perfectly for our live musician. After the music ended, we were able to seamlessly switch to our own playlist through the venue's speakers, which kept the party going. The pricing was very reasonable for a private event, and the staff was friendly and attentive all night. And it was so good- lots of crispy bacon and fresh tomato and lettuce. The bun was fresh and soft but held up well (read not soggy) against the tomato and mayo. My husband opted for the soft pretzel, was was piping hot upon arrival and came with two sauces- a mustard sauce and a cheese sauce. We finished it all. The sandwich was so large, I took half back to our room to eat for later. Crush Lounge also has a small bowling alley with several lanes. We didn't get to try it as it was reserved for an event, but this is such a cool feature of the property. This is a solid spot for a quick bite to eat or for drinks when staying at the Meritage.

Bathrooms are located just outside the lounge, down the hall near the elevators. Service has consistently been solid during my visits. Staffing has never been an issue, and it's always been easy to get help at the bar. The drinks are well-made and flavorful, though on the pricier side. The only food I've tried so far is the carnitas nachos, and they're definitely worth ordering. Overall, it's a fun spot for both adults and kids, and it's usually our first stop after checking in.

I Googled "good drinks near me" like a responsible adult, and BOOM, this place appeared like a gift from the cocktail gods. Two minutes away? On foot? I practically floated there. I told myself I'd stroll and enjoy the scenery. I did. I was very sophisticated about it. When I arrived, I found out there's a whole bar hiding inside Oxbow Market. A bar. Inside a market. Genius. I walked in and immediately forgot why I was confused because it was full-on foodie heaven, and the bar reached out with invisible hands and pulled me straight to it. I had no choice. It was gravity. That's when I met Lauren. Lauren was behind the bar, doing her thing, radiating good energy, and I said to myself, "I must sit here and be her problem for the next hour." She was so warm and welcoming that I felt personally invited. I, a stranger. She smiled the whole time, which either means she genuinely loved the conversation or she is an incredible professional. Either way, 10/10. Now, I am notoriously indecisive. I could spend 45 minutes choosing between two identical options. Lauren, a saint, walked me through the entire menu without a single eye roll (that I could see). I finally landed on the boozy strawberry slushy with a prosecco float. Could I have done without the bubbles? Probably. Did I finish every last drop anyway? Absolutely. We talked and laughed like two old friends who had just met, which is my favorite kind of friendship. My wife wanted to try caviar, so we actually gave it a spin here for our 1st time. I'd always been nervous about what the taste of caviar would be like. Glad I got to try it out at least once. It basically was a bit crunchy & a bit salty, other than that nothing of note for me at least. I get the price to an extent as it's not day to obtain, but man, it's expensive for what you get, not just here but any place you buy it. Probably a one time thing for me. The other item we got was one of their paninis & salads to share, and some waters. They've basically got a bar top, and most people seem to order their frozen machine drinks. I believe you can pair the frozen flavor with the wine, champagne, etc with it. Nice little spot inside Oxbow to get a quick bite and drink when in town.

We had boquerones, a gorgeous peach salad, patatas, fried manchego, lamb chops and a delightful coffee and desert. Fancy gin and great selection of wines rounds out their menu. We decided to do it on Saturday because Sunday would be too crazy. It was a good choice and my sister made reservations. Chardonnay is a favorite of my mother's. The Vineyard Room is a small dining area adjacent to The View Bar & Grill (another restaurant at the golf course). I'll jump right to it. Things I liked: beautiful area and on sunny days the view is spectacular. There is ample parking. The staff is very courteous and friendly. The food itself is quite good. I had Reuben sandwich with french fries and it was deli-wonderful. Things to know: this place hosts a lot of wedding receptions--and I think weddings--and this can affect what you order. For example, I thought I could order breakfast food slightly after 12:00 pm, but was informed that I could not. I believe the kitchen was switching over to lunch. So, I ordered the fried chicken by was later told that they no longer made that. My guess is that they will eventually update their menu. Our server, Skylar, was apologetic and since my sister was also a No-Go on the fried chicken, offered to check if the kitchen would make breakfast items. Sadly, the answer was still "no" and I told Skylar my second option was the Reuben. My sister had fish tacos. I know that Skylar was only passing along what she was told, so I don't blame her. She also comped me a beer and our table an order of nachos. This was a gracious offer and we accepted it. I'm not an order-off-the-menu guy and I try always to be patient and understanding. I've been in Skylar's shoes before and have had my share of difficult situations. In this situation it is helpful to know that it is a bar & grill and while they have a decent amount of options, it is a little different than a full-service restaurant. Given the fact that it's a destination for wedding parties, it is good to know that your menu options might be limited. Meaning, you might be told that they do not have your first choice. I've always found that being a little understanding goes a long way in your enjoyment of the meal. I tip my cap to Skylar for remaining courteous and friendly even though she kept having to come back and tell us the kitchen couldn't make this or that. This is still a good place to eat. I'd recommend asking what they are out of at the beginning.
